Terrible. Never purchasing from here again.
Returns/exchange process for this company is beyond a joke. Being an online company you would think they world have better solutions than charging a customer and extortionate amount of money OR a 15% restocking fee. Alongside that when trying to rectify the situation I was continually told different costs for exchanging the item. Very, very frustrating. Terrible customer service, took no responsibility for themselves. Was happy to pay the return fee, but was not happy that it costs me almost triple the amount of money I was originally quoted. Save yourself the trouble and DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. Purchase from a reputable company who will price match and who has a clearly specified returns/exchange policy. Very disappointed.
Haven’t received goods which are paid in full and delivery constantly being pushed back.
Terrible customer service We ordered roof racks over two weeks ago and we’re told prior to order that it was a 3 business day turnaround. We have just received an email to say it won’t be delivered until the 27th of July! This would be 5-6 weeks since we paid in full. We have now requested a refund and it’s being reviewed which is also an unprofessional process as the customer service representative couldn’t confirm this over the phone.
I had an awful experience, having placed an order for some roof rack accessories. Following order placement, I found it almost impossible to get a delivery date out of the organisation. Then I kept getting broken promises, and eventually it transpired that they could not find the item in their warehouse or logistics system. I did eventually get a refund, but not until after getting the runaround. I would feel far better if they had simply been honest with me at the outset.
**** AVOID THIS COMPANY, BUY ELSWHERE********** Made a order for a topbox for my car, was available on Ebay and on their own website. Showed more than 10 in stock and free delivery on both sites. Ordered from their own website, after order and payment, NO STOCK, many weeks later, promise of stock, but have to pay more. Wanted extra payment of $70.
Item not in stock and no contact made
I ordered a tow bar, waited a week and it still hadn't shipped. When I called them they said they were waiting on the item from the supplier. If you don't have the item in stock don't list it on your store and take peoples money. Its just a waste of everyone's time. I definitely won't be using VA again.

Bought and paid for a Darche Intrepidor 1400 Roof Top Tent online, was emailed saying it was out of stock and would be months before coming back in stock, so offered the option of cancelling, I replied asking to cancel, then was contacted and told they found one in the warehouse so they could deliver it after all, phoned again to say there would be a delay because the free straps on offer were out of stock, I told them to send the tent separately, more excuses when phoning about when it would be shipped a week later, actually only booked the sh...ipping after I called again and asked to cancel and told that's not possible because it's been shipped, tent eventually arrived with minor damage, assume it was a demo tent put up somewhere, so not very happy, but a further fight and trying to get a refund is probably not worth it, I just wouldn't deal with them again and am not expecting to get the free straps before Christmas if at all!!

I ordered a Thule roof box yesterday, not cheap but there was not going to be shipping costs so the best deal
The site did say they were low in stock so I took my chances. Very soon after placing the order I received an email saying that the roof box had been in high demand, saying massive orders have backed up production & release dates ... there was no time frame given for receiving the order. I could either wait it ask for a refund
We can’t wait for who knows long, I tried calling twice this morning & couldn’t get through on 2 menu options..., I left my name & number, & also replied to the email requesting a refund. Not heard back yet & it’s been several hours I called another company who had the roof box for the same price, & just $65 shipping, they had 3 in stock, so I ordered & everything is progressing as you always hope it would Hopefully Vehicle Accessories do respond quickly, & provide the refund
Grey market importer?
Ordered 2 prorack parts yesterday, no indication of any delays or backorders during ordering. Today I get email saying it will be 4 to 6 weeks and can cancel if I want. So I replied to email asking for immediate cancellation and refund. As yet no reply so I tried to call their 1800 number "due to temporary service difficulties we cannot connect you". So I try their online chat - does not work, you enter details and hit connect and nothing happens. I suspect this is simply a grey market importer or company that holds little to no stock and so is...at the mercy of suppliers, they places an order for whatever you want after you order it and then tells you whatever time it takes them to get. I actually have no issue with this if they are upfront about it but they should be showing realistic delivery timeframes before you order not after. I am also very unhappy with a customer service centre that you cannot contact. No concerns about getting my money back, I'm sure they will refund but if not I'll dispute it with Visa if not refunded in the next few days.
I ordered Rhino Accessories from these guys. Their published address is less than an hour away, as is Rhino's head office. Was told last week dispatch would be earlier this week. No sign of the goods. The offshore call centre is not answering its phones on any of their numbers. No response to email enquiry. Very bad experience; chargeback under way. Would recommend staying away from this company. They are not on Rhino's dealer list either it appears.

Don't do it. Boxed like crap. 4 months late and only one roof rack in box.. looks like 5 yr old damn stock. Going through refund ATM.. will re review if refund is a complete hassle.. Surfer guy for south east QLD
after a week of not hearing anything after ordering I had to email the the orders department as there is no facility to check online - after another day I got a reply back saying may be upto 3 weeks until you hear anything but you should hear something next week .....Prices may be cheap but really rubbish communication and poor customer service.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Ordered the Bush ranger Wireless winch controller from these guys about a month ago, wait about 2 weeks and get no shipping details so I sent them an email which they responded by saying their couriers had "suspended operations ", and there would be a 2 week delay. This seemed understandable given the COVID-19 pandemic however after a month I still didn't receive the winch controller when their warehouse is supposed to be located in Sydney about 4 hours from me. In comparison I've had orders shipped from Melbourne and Brisbane during this time...without issue so Obviously they were lying. Fed up and ready to get a refund I called their Sales line and talked to someone with an American accent who said he would need to call the warehouse to check my order and he would call me right back. He never called me back so I called back and spoke with yet another person with an American sounding accent I asked if they had a number for their warehouse and was told it was not possible to speak with the warehouse directly , which normally hasn't been an issue when dealing with other businesses. No one was able to tell me what was happening with my order and I'm currently opening a dispute with PayPal.
Waste of time,l price maybe cheaper but pay the extra and get your product on time.
Terrible dispatch. 15 days after ordering the product it finally gets sent. After being told it had been sent on 15th over the phone. I don't usually right reviews like this as I work in retail and understand where delays can come from but this is absolutely shocking in this day. I would have gathered have payed the extra $50 that competiton had them advertised for then wait what will now be 3 weeks for good racks getting sent 600km down the highway. Absolute joke never again avoid at all costs.
Slow to dispatch
Hi. I placed an online order from this business on Tuesday 21/1/20 for two Hayman Reese products. I received a confirmation email on 21/1/20 saying these parts had been sent (and had a phone call from them confirming the same that day). After I hadn't received the items today on 28/1/20 (3-4 business days is usual postage time to Bairnsdale from Sydney) I called up to check where they were. I was told over the phone that the parts haven't even been sent yet (and I will get an email when they are) and also that I agreed to delivery in 1-10 days?? Very disappointing service and I would not recommend Vehicle-Accessories.
Ignore the cheap price . . . avoid at all costs.
I ordered some racks for my 2019 Hilux on 3rd January, and by today (16th January) they still hadn't been dispatched. Furthermore, when I phoned the company to ask where the order was I was told the order hadn't even been fulfilled by the 'parts warehouse' which then sends the order to the 'dispatch warehouse' to be sent out.
I cancelled the order and received a confirmation email stating that the order was being cancelled and the money would be refunded. I subsequently sourced the racks this afternoon from a local company, at a slightly highe...r price, but they had them in stock and I was able to fit them immediately as I'm leaving for a trip tomorrow (as previously stated to Vehicle Accessories Group). I then get a subsequent email some hours later telling me that the order has now been dispatched!! Let's see how difficult it will be to get this sorted out. To make matters worse we're a charity organising an event that supports rural communities in times of fire, flood and drought, and this is how they treat us. My advice would be to pay a little extra, support your local distributor and avoid companies like Vehicle Accessories Group who behave in a dishonest manner.
