Just don't!
The staff don't listen. They are all about being right.
They definitely have a culture of making you feel stupid and wrong when you have questions.
They are very self congratulatory about how great they are so if you don't feel they are great they treat you like an idiot. I cancelled immediately, life is too short and there are a lot of great competitors out there

Unsolicited Bill for webspace
A year after I left VentralIP I got a bill to set up a web site from these people - all I ever did here was for 1 or 2 URL's never web space - But here we are being solicited for 1 year hosting which I dont have - even got the Pay or Else thrown in!!! I have sent them an email (unanswered) asking whats going on!!!!

will be able to handle it for you, and if you don't need the service anymore we'll happily cancel it - just drop through a ticket or give them a call on 13 24 85. Our billing team works Monday to Friday during business hours so you'll hear back from them tomorrow. It would be appreciated if you could update your review when the team make contact. Alternatively if you send an email through to customercare@ventraip.com.au we can have a look too - but we're certainly not in the habit of unreasonably expecting payment from customers who don't need the service anymore so you can rest easy knowing we'll get this sorted for you! Edit: I should also point out that if you left us and never explicitly cancelled the service it would still be active in our system. We'll be able to get it cancelled off if you're not using it - but honestly coming straight here to leave a 1-star review isn't the way to go about it, especially if you haven't even given our team a chance to reply yet!Similar opinion? Emails dont work as a result of forced server move
We were forced to move server. Since this time, we have been unable to consistently access emails from iOS devices for around 2 months. Senior techs are unable to provide any solution in this time.

Find a new host
We had our site and domain with this company. They sent an invoice with 10 days to pay, on day 11, cut us off. We called them stating that we had actually paid, but because their records were confused they cut us off. Then our domain went down two days later. You would think they might have told us on the phone that this was about to happen...

emails functioning, why we chose to host with someone "reputable" instead of BigDaddy. However... not trying to compare you with others. We were told your policy is not to send reminders for domain name expiry, one email sent to the registered name only... that's it, no reminder no follow up before the switch is flipped... just turn it off. Who operates like that. I don't believe you have the resources to provide service, two hours on the phone on hold before we diverted to the web page where waited half an hour to find out our issue. If we provided that type of service we would be out of business. Website keeps going down
I use this company to host a website for a non-profit community organisation. In the last year its gone down multiple times due to issues that had nothing to do with anything we did. Today our website went down at a very unfortunate time (right before an event) due to an SQL enquiry that went wrong (I dont even know what that means)... its still down and apparently Im not allowed to ring them to discuss this - I submitted a ticket hours ago and am waiting for them to look into it. Our website never once went down in more than 10 years with our old provider. Im very dissappointed with Ventra IP.
