I am female, 77 years, BMI approx. 20, reasonably fit. I am working towards a weight loss of 3kg. Would this machine help me achieve this goal? Thank you.
Hello Cleone, In order to get the best results, you need to train by increasing the frequency gradually so that your body has time to adjust to the new workout regime. It is also very important to stand correctly on the plate in order to develop strength and muscle tone by, for instance, holding the squat position. Another good tip is to combine various muscle groups in your exercise. This will further challenge your body and burn more calories. Another important aspect is to give your body time to rest and recover from the workout. If your body is not rested, it will not be able to respond to the workout as efficiently. Regarding the weight loss, the number of calories you can burn by using the VibroFit will vary depending on your age, gender, metabolic rate and other movements you might engage in while standing on the plate. Dietary changes while using the VibroFit is also key, remember managing your eating is more important than any exercise for weight loss, I know this from experience and of course plenty of scientific research :) You might not see visible results quickly but please remember that you are nonetheless gaining a huge amount of health benefits by using the plate regularly (toned muscles, improved bone density to mention a few). I would be more than happy to jump on a call to further guide you on making the most from your VibroFit, the technology has helped hundreds of thousands of people globally to improve their health and lose weight, and I would like to ensure you see the same results :) Hope this helps! Francois

Hi I am trying to decide if I can get this machine instead of the personal power plate. I have been attending physio pilates centre which has powerplate machines and it helps me with muscle cramps and flexibility in my legs before each session. I think I would benefit from a machine at home for excersise,, stretching and balance. How does this machine compare with the personal power plate? Would the Vibrofit 3D be a good alternative? thanks

Hi Does the Vibrofit 3D have a calorie counter? thanks Jim.
Yes it has calories burnt but not sure it is accurateHello, Thank you for your inquiry and for your assistance Shazza. The amount of calories you can burn by using the Vibrofit depend on a range of variables, including your original basal metabolic rate, your age and gender, and the other movements you engage in while standing on the platform. Generally, though, a 10-minute vibration session burns about as many calories as a six- to 10-minute walk or about 47 calories for the average 150-lb. person walking at 4 mph. We hope this helps but please contact us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any further questions :)
