Faulty Parts and Poor Workmanship Issues
Two (2) issues that warrant a review of 1 star/Terrible rating.
1. The day after I had Victory Blinds roller blinds installed (a Saturday), I went to open the blinds and unbeknownst to me the metal pulley of the roller chain was faulty and sliced my finger and embedded a piece of the metal in my finger, which had to be removed. When I raised with Victory Blinds management, "We have never encountered this situation before and after seeing the images we can understand how this occurred. We will investigate this further with manufacturing and the ...
Perfect, my extension/reno now feels complete
Wonderful service, knowledge, advice by both Fiona, who is amazing & an absolute pleasure to deal with & Pascal who installed the curtains/blinds also so easy to deal with, efficient & very knowledgeable, an overall amazing experience, will recommend to all!
Beautiful shutters on our period homes
We had beautiful shutters installed recently in two period homes. The consultant Fiona was extremely knowledgeable, creative, professional and highly attentive at all times, thank you! Pascal the shutters measure check consultant/ installer expert had a positive attitude and optimistic approach in making everything work out perfectly. He put me at ease because of his confidence, ' a can do attitude', and his immense experience with working on period homes, as they can be very difficult to work with. He showed abundant uniquely skillful talents...which was so impressive, Thank you! We are so thrilled with the outcome and commend Victory Blinds for finding such incredibly dedicated, experienced and highly professional consultants who are so respectful and attentive to their clients needs and concerns. Thank you again for making our home look amazing! Helen Russell and family.
Super Service! Problem with outdoor blind promptly & cheerfully fixed. Highly recommended!
Called the number from Victory Blinds website for warranty service. Call answered promptly, time for technician organised. Technician came on time, corrected the issue, and left a very happy customer.
PERFECT SERVICE !!
From start to finish the service from Victory Blinds was absolutely perfect!!
I managed to get the motorised blinds well under the price of other companies and were delivered well within the time frame promised. The installation team were great and the installation was flawless, with the electricians arriving just as the blinds were finished.
I would highly recommend VICTORY BLINDS for the high quality of product and service
We have had some outdoor pleated blinds installed on our patio. The customer service from Victory Blinds staff has been outstanding. The office staff were friendly and knowledgeable about products, the consultant arrived on time and was helpful and suggested products and the two installers were efficient, friendly and explained warranties and care of the blinds. I have used Victory Blinds previously in another home and am more than happy to recommend the company to friends and family.
Poor customer service
These guys were a complete disappointment. Not only did they measure the blinds incorrectly, take a deposit and then tell us they quoted incorrectly. But they delayed installation and cancelled on the day of fitting. Completely unprofessional. Would not recommend them at all.
February 25th 2019 Update: Bad bad bad
Called a million times, left numerous messages and replied to this message here. My shutters don’t open and hit the window. My curtain is still 10-12cm SHORT. I replied 6 days ago and NO managers have called to rectify. Atrocious. [name removed] where is my call back.

Terrible Installation Experience, Awful Warranty Service
Took 8 months to finish installation of outdoor blinds -- started Feb 2018, ended Sep 2018. Litany of problems -- wrong parts, incomplete installation, each requiring at least a month's delay before recommencing installation. All in all, not more than 10 days work in 8 months, with many visits which required me to take time off from work -- something I could not really afford.
The blinds themselves are excellent, and materials used are also very good.
The installers and staff were always polite, sympathetic, and courteous, but that's of no he...
The sienna folding arm awning is a Total waste of money. The so called advice given was not helpful as it did not deliver what was expected. You can’t leave it open if it’s windy and there’s a big gap between the gutter and the blind so water would go through when it rains . Had to pay extra to have electrical power connection for the remote control! It would have been cheaper and better to just put sails shades instead , at least you wouldn’t have to worry about the wind!!
I am so angry to think that I have been ripped off by this company. BEWARE!!!

Easy, hassel free.. Perfect!
Victory Blinds were such an easy company to deal with.
I was able to book in a consult with ease. The repp provided suitable options that complimented my home and my ideas and concerns were heard.
I love the quality and the colour range of fabric and railing, this allowed me to match it to my walls really well.
The install day was easy. The lad who did the install was well presented, didnt leave any mess, was polite and informative about the care and warranty details.
Communication and making payments were a breeze.
Ive come out of this with exactly what i wanted with no hassles at all.

Great Curtains/Blinds - Appalling Service and Installation
The product is very good but the customer service is not great and after sales service appalling.
We had to go through 4 booked install dates for our curtains, the first one my husband took the day off work to be home and at 4pm they called to cancel. The 2nd booking we made on a Saturday, changed our plans to be home and again, got a late call to cancel. The third booking went OK, we had all but one room done and they had ordered the incorrect rods so..... back to waiting. 4th time lucky, curtains were finished. Again they look fantastic, but...
Poor Warranty and after Sales Service
Beware!! This company charges $95 call out fee to fix their faulty blinds under warranty!!!
We spent thousands on our curtains and blinds approx 4 years ago and all starting to fall apart... that means $95 each time a blind/curtain falls apart - what a joke!! I wonder if this is even legal! Not to mention good customer service...
Quite happy to take your money the provide extremely poor warranty service.
Was happy initially with our purchase. Salesman said that the blind clips could be changed individually by the installer onsite and was covered by warranty. We ended up later on with a Broken clip. We asked for the clip to be replaced under warranty while they were installing a new kitchen blind. The installer couldn’t do it onsite and took the blind away for repair. That was 5-6 weeks ago. Still not completed. Victory blinds want to charge us for a service call to return the blind. We have contacted them 7 times without success. Next step sho...uld be to stand outside their front door and tell all prospective customers how bad the warranty and after sales service is. If I did that I would only be stooping to a level that is not in my nature. This is a warning for potential customers that they need to explain their warranty conditions in full and then have it in writing.

We had electric blinds and window tinting installed. The window tinter did an excellent job and was also very friendly. The window tinting has made a huge difference to the temperature in the house on warm days as it really blocks out a lot of heat from the sun. The electric blinds installers were also very professional. One blind has a big black mark and they immediately organized for it to be replaced on the same day. We did have an issue with the electrical work for the blinds as there was some confusion over whether or not my builder was pr...oviding an electrician. I contacted my Victory sales rep Jim Panagiotou and he organized for an electrician to come out the next day. The blinds are now connected and working well. We are very happy with the service provided by Victory.
I had my window furnishings fitted today and I have to say am extremely happy with the finished results. it has been a great experience from start to finish. Dealing with Adrian who is very professional and a talented designer. John at the office arranging fitting etc was very friendly and Daniel the fitter who did an amazing job. From our experience we will definitely recommend Victory Blinds.

What is the difference between Woodlore and Normandy shutters??
Victory B.Victory Blinds
Normandy Shutters are made from Phoenixwood (Firmiana Simplex). The timber is classed as a hardwood and comes from the Sterculiaceae (Cacao) family of trees.
Woodlore Shutters are manufactured from Customcraft – a man-made product that is a combination of timber fibre and glue. It is very stable and does not warp when used in low-moisture conditions.
