The UNVICTORY Way
usually before i get a quote on a product i usually check them out but because my friend had used them before & had no trouble i did not do a review & now wish i had but of course too late now! like a previous customer i too have been ripped off the 50% deposit $1780 which was paid on 27/10/2020 for 3 outdoor blinds which was expected to be installed well before Xmas. de & told no, so said to cancel order & refund deposit, which she responded with , The sales mananger will ring later which he did so said again to cancel & he came up with, I will get them done by mid December. Ha! he could not give any date so he obviously tells all others this same story so to keep their money. said again to cancel, but he said he cant & would not give any reason why! if the blinds not made, what is the problem cant cancel & get money back? how many others have they done this to? I got very distressed on the phone & had a panic attack, being a 82yr old age pensioner & my friend took the phone asking why cant get money back. he ended up hanging up on her so he was rude discourteous person & 2 emails i have sent requesting deposit back have been unanswered as well. it looks like my money is also sitting in their bank unless they are in financial trouble themselves. from now on i will not give any trader or company any deposit before the job is completed so will not be ripped off again & this is the way jobs were done years ago,,,paid in full on completion....if a company needs money front up, then there is something not right financially or its a con!they have this statement on their order form called The VIctory Way, what a heap of rubbish.. shoud be The Unvictory Way!!! so people be aware who you trade with as cant trust anyone anymore!3 comments

iscussions? Also as stated will never believe a word from any Sales manger etc again! Therefore see no need for further discussion. Nor will I do business with a company that demands balance of payment 7 days before installation as probably lose that too for a bad installation, knowing my luck of late!Similar opinion? cant get a quote
Unfortunately could not get an appointed time to get a measure and quote. Told in email and on phone that it could be done without me being there but they could not. Others can. I work 5 days a week. No appointment available after hours (5PM ish) or on a Saturday. Only 1PM during the week. Not good enough.

Rep doesn't even know the products
I had Craig come out to quote me on a job I wanted done at my house, first of all he didn't want to sell me cellular blinds which is what I wanted in that particular space, then proceeded to tell me I should just get plantation shutters instead, 2 very completely different products and would not suit that space! Then he tried to tell me to have nothing there, what the?! I had to go onto Victory's website and physically SHOW him the product I wanted on the website of the company he supposedly works for which he then said he'd have to go back and speak to his boss about, this was over a week ago now, haven't heard back. Unprofessional service to say the least, gone elsewhere now.

Nice Curtains, wrong colour
Wish I hadn't listened to the advice from the consultant, was disappointed with the end results as it is not what we wanted, unfortunately the whole experience was very disappointing.

Nice blinds, wrong colour.
We had blinds installed about a year ago as part of a major renovation project. Kitchen, bathroom, carpets, paint, etc. To make a long story short, the colour we got was cream which is not even close to the colour ordered: Dulux Antique White USA. We pointed this out to the installer so he said he'd take off $1000 from the outstanding owed. The installer said he had the same issue with Victory and had even given them the paint! At the same time our daughter built a new house and Victory said they could colour match. Same issue, wrong colour....Read more
Victory, a year later is now trying to say we owe them money! After many emails and phone calls, they have agreed to give us a discount on what we owe! My final response to them is that we are happy to take the discount when they rectify the colour issue. I would never recommend Victory.1 comment
The colour we picked is so popular, you don't even have to get it mixed in Bunnings.

Incredibly rude service.
I received appalling service from a Victory consultant. In standard negotiations I was asking him if any better deal could be provided on the quote provided of $4300 for 2 sheers blinds and block outs for the 2 windows.
Absolutely fine that he could not do better, however merely for asking I copped an email of rudeness and I have not included the entire thread.
The IDENTICAL fabric Victory refused to discount “because it was expensive fabric” was provided to me $600 cheaper than Victory. An alternative roller blind fabric was provided much cheaper. I have now paid for $3700 blinds the week after Victory treated me so appalling.
Another company got my business :)
Maybe consider this next time.

I would thing twice before purchasing any thing of victory blinds
It took them 9 weeks to make two blinds when sale rep said 3 to 4 weeks ,on the day of insulation i was told Glen would be the between 12 to 2 then at 200 pm i ring office up asking if glen is still coming i was told yes at 330 i ran office again ask what is going on was told Glen came at 1230 pm left business card in the fly wire door i miss you i dont understand why he did give me a call saying i at you door most companies will give you text or a phone call saying i be the soon i try to organise another day on the day i received a phon...Read more

So far, it's been a 5+ month ordeal w/ Victory Blinds Underwood to get the electric blinds installed.
They installed the wrong remotes (too few channels) and have promised to order and come out with new remotes multiple times - nothing. Every few weeks or month we'd call, they'd have no record of the issue, they'd promise to order the remote and get back to us, and then nothing. No follow up each time.
Finally, after calling one last time and raising my voice a little, they schedule a guy to come out with some remotes they apparently had in the office (!??).

Never never never use them
I am so sorry we didnt look on reviews of Victory Blinds earlier, because generaly they have so many complaints. Same with us. 5 mistakes on one order, amateur behaviour, long long time waiting for repair (1 year), even we wrote them we dont want to pay rest of the money till order will be fine, they took it and didnt answer any of our complain anymore.

4 MONTHS AGO PAID DEPOSIT..STILL NO BLINDS!
paid my 50% deposit 26th July. Because I have bay windows they wanted to send their "most experienced" installer to do the check measure. Problem was he was on leave and I had to wait 2 weeks for the check measure. Which I did, reluctantly, in order to ensure everything done correctly. They then called to postpone to 13th August as the installer had hurt his back, then they attempted to postpone again as he had been delayed at another job on the other side of town and would not make it to my house until approximately 6:30. them bad luck, I want him here today, even it he arrived at 7:00 or 8:00. The installer arrived, said he was delayed at a job in Sunshine, about 20 mins away from me, not the other side of town!!! Measurement done. Called on 22nd and left a message for someone to call me to notify a rough installation date. Next day get a call from the lady who provided quote asking if i had been contacted about a check measure, advised that was done on the 13th. Ohhhhh no she said. It wasn't done properly and makes no sense so they were meant to call me and book in yet another check measure!!! Ummmm, thought i was made to wait for their "most experienced" installer...and he stuffed up the measurement??? Or was i lied to and they just sent anyone? Anyway, I was to get a call back the following day with a date for yet another check measure and heard nothing. They have taken 5,000.00 of my money probably sitting in their account earning them some interest and they are not even in the position to commence making my blinds and curtains! They were also the most expensive, even though purchased during up to 50% off sale (can't work that out, maybe accc can) but I thought the service would be great through them. I will update you all on how long this process will take to completion. Not happy and will look elsewhere when we are ready to get our bedrooms don. Update: Have had the other check measure done which confirmed I was lied to. Their "most experienced" installer attended this time. Still have not had any contact regarding installation date....I am thinking it won't be within 2 mths of taking my 50% deposit. UPDATE: Guess what! ANOTHER CHECK MEASURE NEEDED! Yep called a few days ago and will be out on Monday. This is 4th time for measurement. When I paid over 5k deposit I was told 6-8 weeks installation so they think based on the "8 weeks" they will only be 3 weeks late with install. However, I think 8 weeks allows for delays....sooo if I go by the expected 6 weeks, they are actually going to be 5 weeks over. ALMOST DOUBLE the time. Very poor customer service
Would not recommend this company have used them in the past and was delay after delay. We thought we might try them again booked in for a 9.00am appt. after waiting sometime rang the office to check if rep was still coming and they had no record of the appt. and to make matters worse never offered to rebook for another appt. You need to re look at your customer service Im sorry we wont be back.

Would NOT recommend
Twelve weeks and two cancelled installs later. I am still waiting for the blind/curtain installation in my whole house to be completed. Inferior product, inferior service. Would definitely not recommend.

Terrible service
Terrible service very unprofessional. They do not deliver in the agreed time, we have been waiting for a blind for 11 weeks when the commitment was 7 weeks and they still do not assure us when it will be delivered. Nothing recommended. I feel cheated

Disappointed!
Pros: initial appointment
1.friendly staff over the phone
2.Consultant turned up on time, very professional and efficient.
3.Sent the quote on time.
Cons:
Zero communication after sending the quote. The consultant disappeared on us!
Called the consultant, left voicemail, sent sms & email, spoke to customer service; none got back to us... 4 weeks and still waiting.

Faulty Parts and Poor Workmanship Issues
Two (2) issues that warrant a review of 1 star/Terrible rating.
1. The day after I had Victory Blinds roller blinds installed (a Saturday), I went to open the blinds and unbeknownst to me the metal pulley of the roller chain was faulty and sliced my finger and embedded a piece of the metal in my finger, which had to be removed. Disappointed
The sienna folding arm awning is a Total waste of money. The so called advice given was not helpful as it did not deliver what was expected. You can’t leave it open if it’s windy and there’s a big gap between the gutter and the blind so water would go through when it rains . Had to pay extra to have electrical power connection for the remote control! It would have been cheaper and better to just put sails shades instead , at least you wouldn’t have to worry about the wind!!
I am so angry to think that I have been ripped off by this company. BEWARE!!!

Poor Warranty and after Sales Service
Beware!! This company charges $95 call out fee to fix their faulty blinds under warranty!!!
We spent thousands on our curtains and blinds approx 4 years ago and all starting to fall apart... that means $95 each time a blind/curtain falls apart - what a joke!! I wonder if this is even legal! Not to mention good customer service...

Quite happy to take your money the provide extremely poor warranty service.
Was happy initially with our purchase. Salesman said that the blind clips could be changed individually by the installer onsite and was covered by warranty. We ended up later on with a Broken clip. We asked for the clip to be replaced under warranty while they were installing a new kitchen blind. The installer couldn’t do it onsite and took the blind away for repair. That was 5-6 weeks ago. Still not completed. Victory blinds want to charge us for a service call to return the blind. We have contacted them 7 times without success. Next step sho...Read more

If I did that I would only be stooping to a level that is not in my nature. This is a warning for potential customers that they need to explain their warranty conditions in full and then have it in writing.3 comments

Atrocious service.
Where to start? Eventually managed to get an appointment... Even on the day of appointment.. stuff ups. Everything was measured, quote sent... What a disappointment! One door didn't get a blind in quote.. another door did... But window beside door for some reason yet to be explained, was quoted as a different type of blind. Called and called and messaged to get explanation... Nothing!! Silence!

Poor Service and Management for Victory Blinds
I told my consultant to schedule the roller blinds installed on 31 OCT. However, the consultant somehow didn't book it through with their installation team and leave it no one cares. I realise this at the very last minute of 31 OCT and try to ring up to have it sort out for me and I have been living in my new house with no blinds for a few days. Hi Alexia,
Normandy Shutters are made from Phoenixwood (Firmiana Simplex). The timber is classed as a hardwood and comes from the Sterculiaceae (Cacao) family of trees.
Woodlore Shutters are manufactured from Customcraft – a man-made product that is a combination of timber fibre and glue. It is very stable and does not warp when used in low-moisture conditions.
