Quite happy to take your money the provide extremely poor warranty service.
Was happy initially with our purchase. Salesman said that the blind clips could be changed individually by the installer onsite and was covered by warranty. We ended up later on with a Broken clip. We asked for the clip to be replaced under warranty while they were installing a new kitchen blind. The installer couldn’t do it onsite and took the blind away for repair. That was 5-6 weeks ago. Still not completed. Victory blinds want to charge us for a service call to return the blind. We have contacted them 7 times without success. Next step sho...Read more
uld be to stand outside their front door and tell all prospective customers how bad the warranty and after sales service is. If I did that I would only be stooping to a level that is not in my nature. Atrocious service.
Where to start? Eventually managed to get an appointment... Even on the day of appointment.. stuff ups. Everything was measured, quote sent... What a disappointment! One door didn't get a blind in quote.. another door did... But window beside door for some reason yet to be explained, was quoted as a different type of blind. Called and called and messaged to get explanation... Nothing!! Silence!

Poor Service and Management for Victory Blinds
I told my consultant to schedule the roller blinds installed on 31 OCT. However, the consultant somehow didn't book it through with their installation team and leave it no one cares. I realise this at the very last minute of 31 OCT and try to ring up to have it sort out for me and I have been living in my new house with no blinds for a few days. Doesn't take rejection well...
Bayside rep who was sent out to quote on two potential jobs didn't take rejection well when we rejected the quotes. For one thing, the prices quoted were very expensive, in our opinion. The other thing was the quotes themselves - 4 to 5 pages long, with requirements to initial in columns, pay over 3 instalments (although no detail as to when required), plus the fact that there'd be numerous people involved across at least 3 more vists to get a couple of things done! me of quote, but another $480 added to the quote, as well as being another person we'd have to arrange to come to the house; hopefully at time of install (although not guaranteed). Amazing complexity for people who work full time, or anyone else, to have to try and deal with. Proposed process was made much harder than it needs to be. We decided to not proceed and wrote a simple rejection reply to each quote stating we'd seek alternate quotes. Victory rep didn't take that kindly and wrote a page-and-a-half email diatribe of absolute unprofessional and unwelcome drivel back to us implying we were none too smart because we stated the quotations were overly complex and comparing the Victory service on offer - inclusive of visits by may tradespeople over a period of up to 8 weeks - to to be far superior to that of Telstra, a Doctor's surgey and that received by a Dentist! Amazing right? We thought so, too, as none of what this unprofessional rep had to say was of relevance. He simply didn't like that we were going to shop around for a better price and easier service regarding installation. Well, we did just that and guess what? We came up better regarding both jobs. So, thanks to you mate, as without you setting the bar so low for us to compare truly good service to, we wouldn't have found the far superior deal (price & service) that we did. Horrendous
Organised new day night blinds our property. Constant calls about paying the bill prior to installers coming, organised payment, installers came and went to the wrong address had to wait another week to get them to go to the new address., installers arrived and couldn’t install the large blinds as they did not have the correct tools of the trade in their vans, waited another two weeks for the installation, one window measured incorrectly, remeasured and then called the morning of the installation of the blind, no one from service had called and...Read more

Profoundly disappointing
Our experience with Victory has unfortunately been a negative one. The measuring and quoting with the consultant went smoothly and we were told that due to the Christmas rush that our order would not be ready until the New Year and that we would be contact in January with an update and to make a progress payment. January came and went with no update as to a possible delivery time, February also came and went with no update as to a delivery time.

- we will have to call you back which they never did. Eventually we were given a delivery time, which came and went. So a further phone call was made to find out when the curtains would turn up and once again we were told that we would get a call back. As you can guess this call never came. The curtains then turned up out of the blue the next day just as I was leaving for the airport. The installer tried to tell me that they had been trying to call me all day but the calls went unanswered. Strangely enough neither my wife not I could find any record of their calls on our phones. The fitting did not go smoothly as they had an inadequate number of hangers to install the curtains. So after a journey that began almost four months ago we were left with half hung curtains. Apparently, when such an incident occurs a time is supposed to be made to finish the job. This didn't happen - so we began the process of ringing to find out when the job would be completed. It would not surprise you to know that our attempts to contact Victory and set a time were about as successful as our attempts to find out when they would be installed. It was at this point that I decided to write this review. However, Victory reached out to us before I hit the button to submit it. I had numerous chats with them and they admitted their failings and apologised for our difficulties. This is always appreciated since so few Australian businesses will opt for this line. Poor service
Measure and quote 1/12/2017 paid 50% deposit for installation to be middle Jan. 2018.
Middle Jan installation not until 8th Feb. Waited all day we had to ring Victory to be told they could do the job today.
Was also told they could not give us a new date and would ring next day with a new date this didn't happen. On top off all this we had to paid them more money two days before installation.

Poor product
We had ziptrac blinds installed on our patio. They are so tight that it is difficult to pull them down and push them back up. Had to pay for someone to come out and have a look only to be told that nothing can be done to fix the problem except spray some silicone on the tracks. Two visits at our cost and nothing has changed. Will not deal with this company again and will not recommend them. Very poor service and product installation.

Incompetent company, thieves!
AVOID this company! Terrible customer service! They had the incorrect measurements in their system and we have been waiting over a month for them to correct their mistake and install our blinds, still not done and we were told someone would finally arrive today...no one arrived. Incompetent company, I would advise you all find another more reliable company. Absolutely unacceptable! I would rate them 0 stars if I could. Happy to take your money but unable to deliver any service whatsoever! Buyer Beware!

Bad service
After ordering and paying a deposit for an outside blind and being promised that it would be installed before Christmas we were told 3 weeks later that another check measurement was needed. After that we received a confirmation of the order and told that it would be at least another 6 weeks before we got the blind. We cancelled our order in disgust.

Never bothered returning a quote
Don't waste your time with this company. I sent house plants to quote blinds on the entire home and never received a reply. When I phoned to chase it up the sales rep wasn't able to help. I finally got hold of the person arranging the quote and she said she would follow it up but I still haven't heard back.
I won't bother entertaining the idea of this company if I ever do receive a quote - if this is how they treat prospective clients, what hope do you have of receiving what you pay for after they have your money?

Poor communication and customer service - Brisbane
I have had to have the outdoor otorised blinds replaced. Motors and wind sensor only. Victory blinds quoted quickly, but upon acceptance of the quote and payment if the deposit to recitfy, lost my details. It took weeks to chase the pm up and reap,use they had lost my information (but not my money ). Finally they came to replace the motors, but wanted to tremive the. eeks rather I rang for an update only to find they can’t fix them properly. So I wait again. The scheduling division then contacts me a month later for an re-install date. Disappointed in attitude
Be very wary when getting quote with discount offered. Offering terms in advertising, 2 years interest free, but when asking for this service offered was contacted by office and told to look elsewhere!!! Very poor customer service and attitude.

Do Not Get Blinds from this company
After reading ratings replies on this page from Victory Blinds it made my blood boil. Their replies are Typical of the service you will receive from them. ( PATHETIC ) . They can not find your name in the system etc, rubbish that is a poor excuse, bla bla bla. they are never wrong. Ha.

Blinds still not here - 6/10/17
Had quote done in July. Paid more than deposit asked for in August. They asked me to sign a contract, posted it to them and they denied getting it. Never mentioned about the deposit sent to them before the contract even. Eventually some of the blinds turned up. Two windows were too short - still waiting to this very day for them. Shocking company will never deal with again. Never ever said sorry about anything.
October 13th 2017 Update: Blinds here at last
Three months to make the blinds!!!! Must remember not to use them again. Two out of 8 were too short.

This would have to be the worst and the longest disaster we have ever had
We called victory for a quote for the hole home in Warragul to have drapes, shears, verticals and venetians in Feb 2017 and ordered it within a day or two later and to be installed late April, But late April on arrival all of the drapes were wrong as was one of the techwood venetian blinds.
We were told it will take 5-6 weeks to fix so mid june we called and we were told the manager would call but he never did so we called again and were told to wait till August because they forgot to put the order in. Each time we called we reminded them abou...Read more

Stay clear of victory blinds 28th SEP This person who quoted this job back in Feb 2017 rang today to try to apologize after all this time for what happened and to talk about the problem we have SHE AND VICTORY COULD AND SHOULD HAVE done this way back when this happened FAR TO LATE NOW more incompetence. 29 Sep 2017 received a text with a reason for the disaster but it does not change the fact that it took so long and that the blind was still wrong and damaged the second time. we have since had one made and fitted by someone else. Extremely poor customer service
I placed an order for blinds in November 2016. The blinds were installed in February 2017, 2 of the blinds were not measured correctly and 2 months later I had no response from anyone and had to try multiple avenues to get any response as to when they would be installed. They would not even respond to the contact us messages from their own website. 2 months later I was moving overseas and I still had no response back from anyone at Victory as to when they would be installed.

and had rented out my house. Wouldn't want to be selling you house in a hurry if your using these guys. Their financial invoicing system was a joke too. Invoices make no sense and are back dated prior to the final installation so that it looks like it was a late payment. Would definitely not recommend using these guys.1 comment

Will blinds fall down?
Victory Blinds installed blinds poorly. This is the second or third time since 1989 I have replaced these blinds because the sun rots them. This is the first time I have had problems. Kresta said point blank that they could make blinds this big.
When Victory installed the blinds they didn't replace them where the existing blinds have been for the past 55 years, they installed them on the wall. The pelmet box doesn't cover the blinds so I expect the blinds will rot within 10 years. Experienced builders, Archicentre and an architect don't ...Read more
think the fixings are strong enough to withstand wind or last for 20+ years so I have to pay at least $500 for a structural engineer's report. I have spoken to Perfect Blinds who said they probably would have installed structural beams to affix blinds.1 comment

We just walked away.
We are completing a major renovation, and have 3 medium-sized windows and 1 very large "wall of windows" to cover. The house is not inhabitable and we are staying in a place about an hour's drive from the house while the work is done.
We went to a Victory show room near where we are staying. The staff was, frankly, disinterested in us once they learned we are not buying drapes for a house in their immediate area. They told us we should visit a show room nearer to the property being renovated. This didn't make sense to us (it's all one co...Read more

We gave the shop staff our choices and asked for them to arrange the free "measure and quote" - which they agreed to do. A date was set for a week later, and the day before, the measure-and-quote guy rang us to say he couldn't get all the samples and could we postpone? Sure. We rescheduled for a week later. We mentioned to him that we live an hour a way from the location being measured. The next week, as we are in the car on our way to meet this guy, my mobile rings and here he is saying he didn't get all the samples. He wants to postpone again. I explained we are actually quite sure of what we want, and that the point to this visit is for him to get the measurements before the builders lay the floor tiles (which will make the house inaccessible for about two weeks). He grumbles a bit, but agrees to come and do the measurements. We arrive and greet him. He is grumpy, obviously "put out" - and more than a little rude. He makes it clear he's angry that he had to park about half a block away. He makes us so uncomfortable that we neglect to mention the sheers we want in the lounge room (and the sheer fabric is part of what he didn't have with him).1 comment

Hi Alexia,
Normandy Shutters are made from Phoenixwood (Firmiana Simplex). The timber is classed as a hardwood and comes from the Sterculiaceae (Cacao) family of trees.
Woodlore Shutters are manufactured from Customcraft – a man-made product that is a combination of timber fibre and glue. It is very stable and does not warp when used in low-moisture conditions.
