Disappointing Experience with Vodafone Home Internet Service

I subscribed to Vodafone home internet for the past three months. Initially, the WiFi speed was satisfactory in the first month, but unfortunately, the service quality deteriorated significantly in the subsequent two months. This decline forced me to rely on my mobile data for most of my internet needs. I reached out to their customer support helpline and visited their physical stores several times in an attempt to resolve the issue, but regrettably, these efforts did not yield any improvement. Additionally, I found the behavior of their team members at the store to be unprofessional and lacking in customer-centricity. As a result of my experience, I cannot recommend Vodafone as a service provider. Show details

Vodafone is terrible

Vodafone Internet service is constantly unreliable. I'm in many different area's a day for work, I need reliable connection. It's not like I'm travelling to the bottom of a volcano or sailing out to sea, I'm in your average area's where lack of service should not be a problem.
Vodafone dose not take responsibility and try to fix the issue no, they blame anything and everyone else they possibly can.

Worst NBN Provider

If you are BYO modem plan, you are stuck as they don't know how to set up your modem. They are all India based and not properly trained. Total waste of money. Show details

Worst internet ever

I got this as part of a bundle, and I feel like the old dial-up was more reliable! I have had this for about 3 or 4 months and have asked them on average about 8 or 9 times, 2 or 3 in the same night too! Dropout after dropout. Poor customer service and poor consistency of network

Vodafone is the WORST!!!

System has been down in our area for 10 days! No notice at all, just routine maintenance apparently. Had to use an Optus phone to call them because my Vodafone mobile is also affected. Worst company ever! Show details

Amazingly bad service

What an amazing service you have (NOT!). We ported out of Vodafone 2 weeks ago but they keep billing us for the service we don't use. When we called, they try to sell us more service instead. Crap service. Customer service kept blaming the other company when we wanted to talk to her supervisor. Vodafone kept blaming the other company instead of taking responsibility. WE DON'T USE VODAFONE NBN SERVICE BUT KEPT BILLING US FOR 2 WEEKS. Awaiting a call from the supervisor. I don't think they will resolve this Show details

Ridiculous service. Very slow internet

They charged me for 100mbps and never gave me 30mbps speed. When contacted them multiple times, did not help me and they were ok for me to switch to a different provider. Didn’t even offer any assistance or reimbursement. Very rude staff

The worst 2 years of my life

I don't want to comment and waste my time. If you are with Vodafone NBN, please trial another provider for a month and see the difference. You will never go back. Their customer service is good and that's all. Very unrealible internet connection. Show details

Vodaphone NBN is atrocious

Terrible. Couldn’t watch Pay Tv Apps. After almost 2 months I went back to Telstra and can now watch Kayo, Stan, Netflix and Paramount. I bought high speed internet and it was the worst. Stay away from this rubbish. Show details

Had my doubts, but Vodafone delivered

Encountering constant issues with our ISP following the takeover from a competitor, we decided to switch providers. Doing my research I came across various highly rated providers who upon closer look (and more recent reviews) were actually horrible. A friend suggested to give Vodafone a try and I have to say, I'm absolutely amazed. Signed up around midday and by midnight the same day the switch to Vodafone was executed. No problems, excellent service, and stable & fast internet. I'm amazed and don't understand why not more reviews highlight the excellent service Vodafone provides. Show details

Useless after midnight

Vodafone Internet is not great at the bast of times but why does it become useless upon midnight when it cannot be a peak time? When I spoke with the rep at the store in point cook they did not offer any resolution only that I could change to another supplier. I think I will. Show details

More like vodafraud!

Vodafone allowed scammers to open accounts in my name. I've never been a Vodafone customer, only found out after running a credit report on myself, thought well if I go to the store there should be an account in my name. Guess what no account exists in their system, yet they placed it on my credit report. Second time this has happened from them! Completely incompetent, most likely have people on the inside allowing this to push through to help those call center scam mates get phone numbers to use for calling victims!

What’s happened !?!?

I’ve been with Vodafone mobile network for 17 years. Apart from the odd issue abroad where their affiliated carriers have the worst signal abroad or my bill is high so they automatically block your service leaving you unsafe in Jamaica trying to get transport or call a cab late at night home but
now in sydney without changing a thing I often have one of the smallest bars on 4G 20mins from the cbd in the shire. At best might have 2 or the occasional 3 bars and 5G. It’s not my phone. The networks dropping, slow and has not much signal. Time for a change. Feels like we are back in the 90’s. Show details

It is SO BAD and SLOW

Man, it took me all afternoon to watch a movie that lasted an hour. It was the worst experience ever having to do other things while waiting for the movie to load. I called repeatedly to voice the frustration and kept getting the same response: turn it off and on again, take the sim and the modern to the shop to see if it works, but nothing does! The bargain seems wonderful, but the internet is actually pretty terrible. They get you to sign up with the plan and when it wasnt doing its job and you want to cancle, they charge you $145 for the moderm???!! For something that doesn't work! Keep Walking

Bought an Android Phone a couple of years ago. Receive many Reminder e-mails, even though account has been paid. Also get hundreds of Spam Messages on a daily basis. My partner is with another provider which gives unlimited calls to Indonesia for $250 pet annum. I don't call overseas. but I will Piss Vodafone Off, as I'm sick of all the bloody reminder and Spam emails.

Good speed but service keep on being disconnected. Vodafone support is useless

I would avoid Vodafone.
Now that I have cancelled their service they request for me to pay for the modem even though I have already returned it.

Much Better than expected

I was really worried about changing to Vodafone’s NBN alternative based on reviews. I decided to give it a try as my mobile is also with Vodafone. 2 months in, I am so happy with it and saving $30 a month v Telstra. I know coverage impacts on experience but my advice is i f your Vodafone mobile works where you live. Ditch NBN and go with a much cheaper service. Review is based on my experience working from home also, but only 2 people living here so cannot base review on large family usage.

Absolute crap service

You guys have absolute crap service even within metropolitan Melbourne. Will be calling to cancel my mobile and 4G wireless home internet service. Yep, I'll pay an extra 60$ and at least get a faster and more reliable service through telstra. You optus resellers, Vodafone, are a joke. How do you still continue to exist in the market

Wanted to discuss a wrong charge which the nasty woman claims the vill is correct I tolled her it was wrong she lied and I asked to speak to a manager and pulled the excuse they will call u back as I have worked in a call centre I know it's not true. Show details

Fantastic speed, Wi-Fi modem and customer service

I churned to Vodafone NBN this week and it was a “Seamless experience”.
Wi-Fi 3 modem by Netcomm is great, excellent speed and low latency.

Average NBN

I have been with Vodafone NBN for over 2 Years now, their main issue is their modem.they supply after a while it starts to play up and starts dropping out causing us to continually restart the modem. The NBN service seems fine and ive had no issues with customer services. If you upgrade your modem to something like Netgear Nighthawk you will have a NBN service that will give you what you pay for. Im always looking for a better deal of course. Show details

This is terrible

The customer service agent sounds like a scammer. He is dealing with people changing his name and doesn't want to help the customer. They are hired just for picking up calls so that the call queue doesn't blow up. How can Vodafone hire scammers for picking up customer inquiry calls? Show details

Horrible customer support

I have been a regular Vodafone customer since mid 2019 with NBN and multiple mobile sims. Recently, they forced me into trialling their 5G home broadband. I didn't like the 5G and returned the hardware strongly requesting not to discontinue my NBN. Three days back, they cancelled my NBN and now giving ZERO support to get it back up. Horrible customer support !!! Need to look for other options for NBN and mobile sims. Show details

Chaotic system

I use prepaid mobile for my iPad. It's impossible to access my account via the Vodafone app to check usage or to recharge. I tried for hours, literally, but was being sent around in circles. I was sent several codes via the mobile phone to enter into the app. No use. Went to Vodafone shop for expert help; system shut him down for one hour because of too many attempts to log on. Went back later and tried for another wasted hour. That's Vodafone customer service. Crap.

The Vodafone modem won't connect to my NBN

So far so good - had many issues trying to connect the modem. The signal is still coming through my old Telstra Wi-Fi modem. It is working at around 50Mpbs download speed which is a very good speed. But there are dropouts quite frequently. I have tried many times to connect and set up the Vodafone modem (which I am actually paying for) and it says "connected" but it is not connected and a tiny weeny little bit of signal gets through - 0.4 Mpbs or something. So - it is NOT working. If I can get it to work, or the modem is faulty and they provide another one, then I will edit my review. Show details

Absolutely pathetic internet service

Was up sold to 5G wireless broadband with a promise of 100MPS download speed. Best we got was 15MPS. Packed it back up and returned to sender. Show details

Don't risk it

Signed up for Vodafone Mobile and NBN together, customer service are prompt and attentive during sign up!

Then saw a random $297 extra charge on my first bill. The real customer service then kicks in. 3 hours to through to anyone on the phones, one hour wait even for a "live chat". Why offshore the customer service to India to save money if you then still don't employ enough people to answer in a timely manner?

Eventually told someone at Vodafone "ticked a wrong box" during my sign up and they'd credit the $297. Having seen what i was in for if I stayed with Vodafone I didn't want to waste any more time or money dealing with their incompetence so cancelled both plans.

Telstra has been a much better option!!! Show details
