Dogsh!t service

Service drops multiple times a day, and when it does work, it's extremely slow. This occurs especially if you are on wifi, in which you can expect consistent painfully sluggish speeds. If you intend to game, expect up to 1000 ping during certain times, if the internet doesn't disconnect. This is all a big scam, do not waste your money here. Show details

Give Vodafone a chance

Switched from another provider due to PS5 promo. Hesitant at first to sign up due to previous reviews but I gave Vodafone NBN a chance. Connected on next day after signing up. Speed is consistent and no dropouts so far. Signed up with 100/20, I am on FTTP. Getting >100mbps. Hopefully connection will stay the same. Show details

Think Twice before getting Vodafone NBN

Vodafone were ok for dealing with the installation and was installed (cable) without too many issues

Not long after the network randomly dropped out sometimes up to 5 times a day
Within 2 months we have had 3 unplanned outages

Horrible speed and customer service. Won't even recommend to my enemy

I don't recommend this to anyone. It's a disaster horrible speed and worst ever customer service. I had premium service paid top $$ but the NBN never worked can't even connect Netflix or to online gaming. They lure you in with special offers and false advertising but once you connected with them you'll regret for choosing them.

Great product. 100%

Perfect never cuts out and get an almost perfect speed too (average 92mbps). Installation was easy and instant and when I’ve had to contact them they have been very responsive and easy to chat to. Some tech support calls have been answered by Australian call centres too. Show details

Service is terrible

Signed up for NBN 100 plan.
Had a lot of trouble with the initial connection then with speed ongoing.
After many an hour on the phone they finally admitted that the modem was faulty and I would need to take it to "any Vodafone store", I did, they don't stock them. My 2 closest stores have closed leaving me with an hours drive to swap Vodafones faulty modem.

Complete disaster

I was impressed with the advertising and reviews and signed up for the Vodafone 100 nbn.
Completely dissatisfied with the service and support.
The modem arrived on time and did not work straight out of the box. It would not connect to the mobile network or the NBN. I spent days and many hours chatting online to the tech support to try and trouble shoot the issues. Every time i was told give it 24 hours. Every time it didn't work. In frustration I cancelled my connection. I was then charged $174 for leaving early. How could I leave a service i never received?
I am completely over Vodafone and wouldn't go near them again. I shall be changing my phone service too.
I went with barefoot for nbn, and had no issues at all Show details

Premium service but my streaming connection drops out every night

The speed of my connection is constantly low at night. Averaging just above 10mps for download and similar for upload at night. This for a premium NBN 100 service. Vodafone told me to reset my modem. Nothing changed at night. Show details

Doesn't work and no-one from Vodafone answers, calls, messages or live chat to try and get it working

Can't say ! It is a new connection, all the gear has arrived and set up according to installation guide but doesn't work. Could be something simple but who would know as I have spent 6 hours trying to reach vodafone via phone, email, live chat and facebook and no-one bothers to answer. When I did get hold of someone on live chat he said he was transferring me to someone who could help....guess what still waiting for them to answer Show details

Avoid Vodafone at all costs

Zero customer service. And I mean zero. Had network outages over the past couple of weeks. First time I called I was hold for 1 hour before I had to go, no service. Second time I was on hold for 1.5 hours, no serive. I am now online again and just past 2 hours, no answer, no service. Plenty of other providers that will actually answer calls and help with you have issues. Avoid Vodafone at all costs. Show details

Nothing Premium About It

Internet is neither fast nor stable with frequent daily dropouts and hopeless wi-fi. We complained and were told to buy a booster and have no more than 2 devices connected ! Show details

Vodafone is the worst nbn provider

Vodafone cut off internet around 2am-4am frequently. There is no internet at all during this time. Vodafone is the worst NBN provider I can tell. It never happens with other providers. Show details

AT MY WITS END

I bundled my nbn with my mobile plan and I wish I had not did it as I thought by connecting to nbn100 would be the fastest and minimal drop outs, boy was I wrong, literally throwing my money in the trash bin. I Called them only to tell you that your connections need changing. I am going back to Aussie broadband never had I faced such a incompetent company like vodaphone. Show details

Excellent-great speeds

Have Vodaphone mobile network with no issues so when NBN became available went to the same.Apart from poor contact with the Virus excuse I eventually received the NBN box.The Modem I had collected from the shop.We are Fibre to Kerb and setup was easy with no tech visit required.Great speeds and no drop outs so far.With the bundle deals on offer it was very well priced. Show details

You don't get what you pay for

Have been with Vodafone now for 9 months and I am somewhat disappointed. Speeds vary but mostly around 50mbps down and 18up. The modem or Hub as VF call it recently packed up and I connected my old Telstra Gen 1 which works a treat, however I don't have the VF 4G backup ( not that that was very successful either). I don't blame Vodafone they just buy the crappy overpriced NBN like everyone else and resell it. Can't wait for the 5G options if they ever come. Vodafone recently raised prices for new recipients of the Premium???? Plan but left existing accounts on previous pricing. If there is any upwards pricing I will be gone like the wind and they can have their crappy hub back. I won't be paying any outstanding owing on that piece of junk. Show details

When it works it works when it doesnt it really doesnt

Have been on the NBN100 plan for a month or so now and I have to say the most accurate description is trash. I mean when it works we get speeds up to 80mbps but this only lasts for a maximum 5-10 mins before an outage or the signal drops. A 4G backup is a great option but it only offers 10mbps whereas my phone offers 30mbps. For the premium NBN plan, we get maybe an hour of consistent coverage and for the remaining 23 hours, we use the 4G backup so essentially pay full price for NBN100 for 23 hours of 10mbps coverage. I came from Telstra for the additional speed but reminded myself why I went with Telstra in the first place. Show details

Buy their modem or it’s not their business

I get a contract month by month NBN for home. I have a modem which was working properly and they said that I could use and they would help me by telephone. Once arrived at home I called them to configure my modem and they said a couple of step and them told me “now reset” and my modem stop to work at all, after it he said I had to buy the vodafone modem because others doesn’t work as well as them and pay almost $200 or get a contract for 36 months and if the internet doesn’t work with others modem is not vodafone business. Show details

Don’t do it to yourself

I have 3 mobile contracts and NBN. No issues with phone but NBN is a joke. Have called support a number of times, no help. We only stream movies but it can’t cope even though it’s supposed to be 100mbps. Never ever comes close. Lodged a case with the ombudsman. TIO, it’s the only way to deal with this, not getting support any other way. Show details

Worst nbn connection ever!

Been connected with Vodafone from April/2019, it is the worst nbn service ever. Even I paid 90 per month for the premium plan, the connection lost from time to time. Whatsmore, I lost connection twice for more than a week and I have to wait for technician to fix. They didn't even fix in the first time! As for the customer support, it is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I always needed to spend more than 20 mintues before someone pick up my call. And they never solved my problem as stating "I don't have enough right to check this and that for you.". For those live in malvern, Melbourne, think carefully before you connect your nbn with vodafone! Show details

I was with another provider nbn was working I changed to Vodafone they sent me there Modem then they said cancel your old provider then it will activate 12 hrs went by nothing then they tell me it will take 2 weeks 4g backup keep restarting every 10 to 15 mins take long to come back on again my old provider had me up and running in 20 min Vodafone nbn is very slow Show details

Living up to my expectations

I know some people will have issues and post all over internet. Bad publicity spreads more then good. But my NBN experience has been top notch. I live in a apartment and avg 80mbs doesn't matter time of day. Worst has been 72mbs and best 88mbs so I'm not complaining. I can stream 4k with no buffering. I wish I could get the full 100 but I'll live. Still a lot better being capped at 50. Show details

Vodaphone has the best service, quick call to fault team not just the sales line. I am so happy I changed from optus

I was sick of being put on hold with optus and telstra telcos, u want to buy something they answer phobe sttaight awat. Bill or tech faults u on the phone for hours. It was infuriating. So I switched to vodaphone, was setup in days. Very fast connection, cheaper than other telcos, 3g/4g backup sim.in modem worked good enough for netflix when nbn box was down. When my nbn box blew up in a storm and had to call tech faults I was so suprised get someone answer phobe in under a minute. Was so suprised, most nbn deals and speeds are roughly the same, it is the ease of getting someone to talk to and their customer service as to y I recome d vodaphone to everyone now. Show details

Slow Internet

Vodafone NBN is quite slow for a nbn100 plan. Their support team are not helpful and try absolutely anything to get off the phone by promising call backs to look into it. Speeds change with every speed test, web browsing very slow and the modem they made me sign a 36 month contract for has a bad wireless range and seems faulty. Vodafone will not let me leave and return the modem they want me to pay out the modem in excess of $150.00 to leave. Not happy at all they made me get this modem even though I had one and they are not providing the service I am paying for! Still currently waiting for a call back. Show details

Avoid

Pay for typical evening download speeds of 80. Get 20 in a metro area. The regulator should start getting onto this. Doesn't work in other rooms of the house. Avoid.

Premium service on six month discount deal

Swapped from Bigpond Cable to Vodafone NBN
To order was easy, the service was delivered quickly on date specified. Modem turned up on time. Install went smoothly

The inservice experience has been disappointing. Some times the speed is exceptional and lives up to promises. Many other times mail refuses to download; instagram, Facebook and YouTube just stop or stutter. Cannot find a consistent relationship to time of day. Keep away from Vodafone! The custom service is terrible!

I cancelled one of my new nbn services within one month satisfy guarantee period due to continuous dropouts, but Vodafone kept on charging me, sending me overdue notices. I called them at least 6-7 times within the next 3 months and each time have just been told to ignore the notice as they have applied a refund to my account. Last night, they disconnected another service of mine under the same account because of this overdue payment. Where is the promised refund?! I have lodged the complaint to Tel. Industry ombudsman. Keep away from Vodafone! They are untrustworthy. Show details

Absolutely terrible

I decided to go with Vodafone as they had a deal of $ 69.99 for there premium 100 plan for 6 months worst decision ever. They tell 4 hours to complete i think that's good so 10 later nothing so phone them tell me 24 hours ok then so i wait. 3 day's later yes 3 day's I get connected now only getting half the speed i should get so phone again tell me My line will not take it so agree $ 60 for 6 months on the 50 plan now getting bills for $ 76.00 try and try and get no satisfaction what so ever. now in the process of getting a new supplier please keep well away from Vodafone a total rip off Show details

Premium NBN should be called Dial UP

I would highly not recommend using the Vodafone NBN service. I signed up for a premium service only to receive that of dialup download and upload speeds. I have been a Vodafone customer for 20 years and unfortunately, they've lost me. I can't say how I feel without swearing so I'm ending with that. Show details
