One of the best device purchases I've made
All i wanted was an android box to stream video and was recommended this box which at the time was $72. I thought for the price, it was reasonable so I bought it. It so easy to setup and use and the quality was outstanding. I purchased another one 3 months later so now have 2 and they are both almost flawless except for one issue I have with the remote (bluetooth) dropping out so after 10 minutes of idle time, the first 1-2 clicks never work while it tries to reconnect.
Purchased in March 2019 at Vodafone for $71.

Simple, easy to use and works every time
Very simple effective device.
Easy to connect and use. We don't use it every day but it has been trouble free when we do.
I bought a second one for a family member, they're happy too.
Purchased in January 2020 at Vodafone for $70.
Infuriating
I've owned it for about a year and think I've spent more time turning it off and on to try forcing it to reconnect. I've got it plugged in and speed testing at 360mbps and it drops off about once every 10 mins, takes about 5 goes to reconnect and sometimes just glitches out to the point where you can't turn it on or off, just a black screen with a white light on the box and won't do anything. It's terrible

Terrible, terrible, terrible...
Bought a Vodafone TV to improve picture quality....what a joke...
I have 900mbs internet connection and connected box via ethernet cable.
Picture was blurry and colours were over saturated.
Thought this would be a huge improvement versus standard aerial but result was really disappointing.
TV picture streaming from Apple TV was much better.

Very useful
This is a very handy little gadget especially for those of a non-tech bent (like me). Connection was stress -free and though I think some of the formatting is cluttered and takes a bit of navigation that is far outweighed by the fact that my 8 year old television his now connected to the internet. Only drawback is searching for something means using the remote's keypad and picking out each letter one at a time from the onscreen keypad. BUT...just solved that by downloading android tv remote app onto my tablet and the tv so I can use the touch keyboard to type as per usual. If I can do it anyone can and only $72...highly recommended.

Awesome Authentic Android TV Box
I had previously bought another brand Android TV Box which only worked with a Bluetooth remote (no RF) and this was a problem for me as I get headaches from Bluetooth frequency after a while. I searched for a proper Android TV Box (not box that uses a Rooted Android phone system which alot of popular Play apps now detect and won't work on) and found this excellent device. AUTHENTIC ANDROID TV which updates to Android 9 on first startup. Can use all the Apps required (Netflix/Stan/Disney...etc) RF Remote (plus Bluetooth also if you like voice co...
Read morentrol) but the bonus is you can turn off the Bluetooth in settings if you don't like. Also includes an Ethernet Port and FTA (Free To Air TV)(which a lot of other Android boxes don't include). Unit works with my 650 Harmony Remote (Must setup under model Technicolor UIW4030VHA) Excellent operation and works quickly....Highly Recommend!Purchased in September 2020 at Vodafone for $72.

The Best...
Have used it now for 18 months. If you have any old "non smart" tv, it is perfect for you. The fact that 1 remote can be used to surf the net, watch tv, adjust the volume is excellent... Get one while you can.

Exactly what I was looking for
I stumbled across this device when researching another Android TV unit. I bought this unit hoping to replace my Foxtel box in our second room. We don't have tv aerial but have ethernet internet so setup was easy. Have all the catch up apps plus netflix. I've just cancelled my Foxtel box so saving $25 per month. Might get another for the other room and bin Foxtel altogether. Definitely recommend.

Can't say enough good things about this device!
I had way too much fun with this device to not post a review.
Sourced one of these for my elderly parents who I've set up an enterprise home network for -- along with a file server that houses a backup of their entire CD/DVD/Bluray collection. Started off by installing Stan/Netflix/Kodi/YouTube/Spotify as well as all Australian catch-up TV apps (yep, all of them!). You can install Prime Video onto it as well (which actually works flawlessly).
Pros:
* 4K support,
* HDR,
* Gigabit Ethernet,
* Wireless AC WiFi (2.4Ghz, 5Ghz -- channels 36-...

Doesn't work with NTFS
Useless for me because it doesn't support video files larger than 4gb. It would have been a perfect kodi media player. But if you just want it as a TV tuner for a projector or something, it will work fine.

Great product at a great price!
Few problems at the start which I sorted out myself (related to my older plasma tv - not the VTV). Very, very happy with this little unit now - connected to modem via ethernet cable (used my own cable as the one that comes with the VTV is short). Great buy!
Update: casting Kayo from iPhone to VTV now - works perfectly. There was supposed to be a Kayo app for VTV but I gave the casting (VTV has built-in Chromecast) a try and it's perfect. Might start using the USB port and Kodi app as well. From my perspective this unit does all I need it to do at a great price.

Love it.
With out a smart tv this product was great so we could watch everything from Stan YouTube Netflix and the price we were offered was really good. Great service again

proper Android TV box that's supurb value and not locked down
Similar to Guy Stevens review here, at just $72 I would rate this the best budget Android box in the Australian market in 2020. And you don't have to be a Vodafone customer. Anyone can buy it.
Pros
- Runs Android TV for streaming - and its a proper Google licenced "Android TV" box, so apps from popular streaming services like Netflix are officially supported and won't suddenly stop working as they often do on generic Android boxes.
- Not locked or crippled like Telstra has done with their Roku box, so it has most of the flexibility of generic ...

Android TV 9 Pie update killed it!
Amongst many other bugs, the latest update has removed the use of its USB for NTFS formatted external hard drives. Now useless to me and have requested a refund. Avoid!
