VODAFONE phone with hotspot use
I use a Vodafone hotspot with my PC for internet (50 Gig plus 3 Gig to enable sharing with spouses phone etc). Used to be very good but last few months service has varied a lot from clear calls etc to NZ using apps and phone to frequent dropouts mid call. I have had two sim cards changed to check it and today I spent about 45 minutes using online chat to try and find out about what speed Im on plus why the service varies. No luck. r (female) on trying to use WIFI hotpspot effectively. Phone service seems slower than before with lots of buffering to download short videos via Whatsapp etc. Won' t consider Telstra as they do not include international calls which is a necessity for me. Always goes back to original price
In the area of Maylands very bad reception for Vodafone mobile and Vodafone wifi.
Another friend of mine has the same problem and he lives in the same area perth metro been like this for
along time.
Another problem that happen to me when using Vodafone sim that i did not like at all as when your contract is up with them normally 12 months it reverts back to the undiscounted price.
As i've used another mobile company and theirs stayed at the discounted price all the time i was with
them and did not revert back to the original price.

reception very hard on some sspots
been on prepaid and reception somedays in some spots dont have enough coverage only issue there is call overseas is hard to understand but in general vodafone has some pretty good plans and included data as well

WiFi Hotspot: Fine for traveling, but ration your data
I’m in the country temporarily because our Secretary of Defense was friends with the Minister of Defence. I suppose this review is for other temporary visitors who don’t change their phone’s SIM card and just need internet service for a month or two; I imagine my experience would have been a little better if I had changed the card in my phone. The WiFi hotspot served my needs well for the most part:

ns -Preface: this might be an iPhone X problem, perhaps android users will have more luck: Worst customer interface I’ve ever experienced. Put an hour at a time into trying to register and get the apps working, never succeeded. Couldn’t download the correct My Vodafone app. I would click on “My Vodafone Australia” in my browser, then the App Store would tell me “App currently not available in your country or region.” Other country’s apps didn’t work, I assume they’re in different systems and couldn’t access my Aussie account (I am 100% certain that I was providing the correct account information). And in order for me to sign up on the website, I would have needed to receive a text message to my assigned phone number—which required the correct app because I didn’t change my phone’s SIM card. So in short, I had no way to accurately track my remaining data, which was important because I did all of my official work on this personal data plan. -No service in the field. Love Vodafone
My network coverage with vodafone is the most reliable network i have come accross rather then others. Ive had a few connection problems but rarely any what so ever. Love vodafone
