Next to no service for six months. Technical support processes created a loop of me chasing them and then them chasing me - completely incapable of making any progress. Made unnecessarily difficult to get a refund on the pay-as-you-go service I was using. Kept trying to blame the phone, but service has been fine since I changed to Telstra.
Nastiest company ever. "nbn" works like dog crap.
I would rather crap in my hands and clap than endure another day of their crappy internet that cuts out twice every hour. If I'm paying for THE top plan, I expect it to work without dropping out every 2 seconds. And when it does work, it's a quarter of the promised speed. Sort your crap out you incompetent imbeciles. I'm pretty sure all the people working at vodafone all have too many chromosomes. Avoid vodafone at all costs
Cannot activate, cannot refund, was told it was a forfeit
I purchased 50 prepaid SIM card valued at $50 each on 2017. I clearly told your staff that it was for reselling purpose for an university welcome program and it must be activated internationally. And your staff confirmed that it could be fully refunded if not sold. However, there was problem about activating the cards internationally. I went back to the store but was told by the manager that it could not be refunded as the previous staff was not properly trained. I requested a confirmation re the receipt of my incident report via email by the m...anager on October, 2017. I was also told that the SIM card showed expired and could not be activated, while they are all officially sealed without any indication that it has an expiry date (the recent version has but the old version don't). Your store staff told me that it was a forfeit. I could not understand that while not any sign (neither orally nor show on the product) mentioned it could expire, and none of the product was used in any way, but I need to pay full price for them. Vodafone refuse to disconnect my number.
So far ,I've asked customer service 3 separate times to disconnect my voda prepaid number and still they refuse to do so because their customer service people use my number..there's a JAMAL sharing ownership of my number..I've had lots of calls from businesses asking for Jamal. Every time i get a new voda number this happens...
The worst network ever!!!
I just switched to Vodafone coz they had really good deals and they are cheaper than other networks. But seriously their network coverage is so bad. I m in Melbourne and they don’t have good network in major suburban areas...like Footscray, sunshine, even Docklands. If you go further down towards the western suburbs, it gets even worse. I am definitely switching my network providers. Never going to back to Vodafone again, everrr!!
They attempted in charging me some bills which were paid 4 months ago and it's nor a satisfying company to deal with.
Legal scammers they have attempted in trying to charge some bills which were paid 4 months ago and it's a horrible company with the worst receptions.kind regards author & SM Influencer
Vodafone uses Aus Post Records to verify addresses...Aus post records can by wrong!!
No problem with Vodafone service ...hate the merry go round of departments ..but i think thats same all round.
Today I had an interesting incident and want to share
I have been at my current physical address for 10 years
I took our a prepaid SIM with Vodafone a few years agoafter approx 2016
Jumped thru all the hoops ets regarading verification, addy etc etc.4YEARS ago
Today I got an SMS from Vodafone ..."We've suspended your service as we havent been able to confirm your address details. Please call us on 155 ...etc etc. HOw absolutely charming ( A nicer note of "Please update your details otherwise we will have to suspend your service.... Bottom Line" Aussie post delivers very little to me ...I have a PO Box for all my parcels cos unless its from Kogan, Internnode one of the big accounts OR a Passport ....they just dont deliver stuff to the home addy. Vodafone uses Aussie Pose to verify physical addresses. I gave Vodafone my physical address Ausie Post said they didnt recognise it....... Frightening eh? Major source of verification doesnt have correct records. Ayway I got Vodafone to put BOTH my addresses on record. No chance of talking to Corporate or someone who really cares about the long term outcomes of such glitches. Interestingly I cannot put anything on Aus Post website OR even on one of the FBchat rooms ....but will put it on here too . Hope this perhaps gives you an idea of how the verification process could have gone wrong for you. Good Luck.
Good first time option
Arriving from another country, the first thing you would look for is a reliable mobile network. Good thing they are the first you see in the exit of the arrivals, and yeah they will register you and all so no hassle. I just find that they are some areas where signal is limited. But overall great job!
Best pre-paid phone service
I definitely recommend Vodafone to everyone as I have been with them for 20 years and never had a problem in fact they have only became cheaper over time.
Some of the pre-paid plans are. . .
$10 weekly credit gives you 7 days unlimited calls and text plus 4gig data or
$30 monthly gives you 28 days unlimited calls and text plus 10gig data or for only
$60 you can get 90 days unlimited calls and text plus 4 gig data good for young children and the elderly
prepaid internet robbery
I have a prepaid internet with Vodafone via a Wi-Fi modem, a 365 day contract, which I have had for many years. $ 60 gave me 12 gig . I payed for my recharge voucher to enter before the expiry date. This time I tried to enter as I have done for the last few years, but it wasn't excepted by my existing contract but buy a new term of now only 90 days. Vodafone informed me they had changed there arrangements, even though I had not let my existing contract expire . I spoke direct to Vodafone about a refund of my voucher and was told as I paid cas...h for that voucher Vodafone would do nothing to reimburse me and if the voucher supplier would refund me , that's my bad luck. Who ever reads this do not sign up with Vodafone as they could change your contract with no respect for what they tell you.
Keep well away from Vodafone
Loyalty means nothing to Vodafone. I have been a user of the 365 day plan with Vodafone over 10 years. At some point I discovered that they were charging me $2 per Mb data usage. Hang on, that ought to be 2 cents per Mb, not $2! I went to check on their website and the rate was quoted as 2c. I went to complain to one of their shops. Their staff did an "investigation". After a while they said yeh it is $2! That's because on the website, they only post the rates of the "365 day plus" plan, not the "other" plan which I was currently having. So the...y have plans with confusingly similar names, but vastly different rates. Hundred times more in my case. I then decided to change providers. They refused to let me leave with my number because my "details" did not match and suggested I keep using their service. All these many years, they accepted my money and my details were not updated, but as soon as I decide to leave, my details were not matching.
Vodafone review by adam leeming
hi all I hear stories about Telstra and optus with their poor overseas service and long waiting times, I have been with Vodafone for a few years and yes they have an overseas call centre in india however their service is excellent,no waiting period and they guided me a few times with trouble shooting with my pocket wi fi when I had issues with my internet.....
Always call me at DINNER TIME
Since being back with voda, I've told them 12 times dont call me at my dinner time, 6pm-8pm, one day later they ring again, at 6:30,pm from India. It's always an Indian Woman who rings and always about some issue raised a week or two ago...this is harassment. It's worse than telemarketers..total rudeness and disrespectful. A culture with zero consideration of others...that's why I won't stay with vo diddly....it's an arrogant cultured business who invade your privacy as if it's their number....
Just Fkn Awful.
I have been a Vodafone customer for 4 years now, throughout all of their reception blackouts, transformations and screw ups. Customer support is basically non existent as it’s hard to get onto a REAL person while calling, they have no email or text response and the app (which I use for recharging and add ons) is by far the worst of all. This app has been gradually getting worse over time and today, stopped working altogether. Apparently their app no longer supports users with iPhone 5S or older.. when trying to express my frustration about this...on the App Store reviews, I was refused and told that “I cannot review this app as it has been refunded” but I never payed for this free app and it’s still installed on my phone. It’s obvious they’re trying to silence the negative rather than take it as constructive criticism. And that is why I will be cancelling my Vodafone number.
Vodafone Starter Pack
Vodafone Starter Pack is rubbish, DONOT buy it unless you know how it works. Purchased the pack from Coles, inserted into my phone, tried to activate but couldn't succeed. After long wait while calling call centre, it came to know that the seller "Coles" had to scan both barcodes (which obviously they should know, but they didn't) and top up additional $10 while purchasing in order to activate, which is NOT mentioned anywhere in the product. Just wasted my time and money. Why the government regulatory bodies punish such thugs.

TXT confirmation to another mobile what does this question mean when I am topping up my phone
If I connect Vodafone tv can I still use my dvd player/recorder to record free to air programs?
Each time I go to activate my SIM card each form of identity is not valid. Is it because I am supposedly underaged, which shouldn't be the case since I am an adult.
