Poor service! Fraudulent account details!
Have requested on multiple occasions for my billing and tax invoice details to be corrected as their sales staff incorrectly set up the account. 3 months on and Vodafone claim they are unable to issue me with the correct account details on my tax invoice as apparently their system is unable to process this. So, for the last 3 months I am being invoiced with the incorrect details. Is this not fraudulent? Would think so.
VODAFONE phone with hotspot use
I use a Vodafone hotspot with my PC for internet (50 Gig plus 3 Gig to enable sharing with spouses phone etc). Used to be very good but last few months service has varied a lot from clear calls etc to NZ using apps and phone to frequent dropouts mid call. I have had two sim cards changed to check it and today I spent about 45 minutes using online chat to try and find out about what speed Im on plus why the service varies. No luck. Passed from one staffer to another and no answers. In store also not good and got clearer info from an Optus staffe...r (female) on trying to use WIFI hotpspot effectively. Phone service seems slower than before with lots of buffering to download short videos via Whatsapp etc. Won' t consider Telstra as they do not include international calls which is a necessity for me. A nusiance if they are the most reliable service.
Slowest mobile data - avoid
Download speeds (Hervey Bay) are extremely slow, resulting in time outs all the time. Not blind spots, happens everywhere. Company deserves its poor reputation and has not improved. Avoid.
Call drops and no network in Gungahlin ACT
Vodafone has the worst mobile in Canberra ACT specifically in city and Gungahlin areas. No network and call connections not working at all.
I ordered a new mobile on the 12/12/20
Told delivery would be the 15th then the 21st then the 29th, tried to discuss the matter explained to service person then got cut off this scenario repeating it self
Four times in 30 minutes, then promised
A resolution. Still waiting.
Disinterested to help customers
Went to Vodafone in Booragoon at 10AM today (16th December,2020) to ask regarding about trading in my previous phone. He was so disinterested in giving us any actual help and instead kept insisting that we could earn more if we sell the phone privately. I am aware of that but I would have still wanted to go through with the process but he seems annoyed I was there. I left extremely disappointed and does not even ask if I still want to go through with it. F*ck you to that person. You ruined my day and wasted my time.
Terrible customer service.
Appalling and useless customer service. Absolutely zero effort, will or interest in resolving customer issues. Will never use Vodafone again.
Absolute con artists
They just keep capping on the call in India. I am horrified with the service they provide. Just lies lies lies that my problem will be solved.
WORST SIM EVER! DON'T USE VODAFONE.
This is the worst sim. No network coverage at all. Been getting extra amount of bill $101.6 without using extra data/ international call. No costumer service responed to sort out. They do not care about costumer's problem they only care about marketing their business attracting clients . No genuine service. Mobile data does not even work properly in most area. I didn't even like giving 1 star to Vodafone.
I actually love Vodafone... ok so I don’t always get reception if I’m underground or in a huge multi story building but I love the quick online customer service... every single interaction iv had with Vodafone staff is amazing and they are so helpful... iv been Vodafone for about 15 years and never had a problem they couldn’t solve and always so friendly...I have recently changed to a plan with lots of data for a very cheep rate...
iv even been given little gifts and tokens for being a longtime customer.
it's been already 1 week my network is not working. I cannot connect with anything. I'm very disappointed.
Very bad network even can't access the Google maps. Very very bad experience and very disappointed. Needs to improve lots.

Each time I called, I was given a different answer.
I was not told that the phone that came as a condition of getting the plan I wanted was out of stock and had to wait 3 weeks and the SIM card would not be sent without the phone.
To top it all off, I was overcharged on a set price plan.
As soon as my contract is finished, I'm leaving Vodafone.
Latest outcome - 08/12/2020: After verifying in 3 separate phone calls that, I was overcharged on a set price (promotional) plan, I asked Vodafone to verify this in writing...
Not fulfilling commitments
I called three days back to change my billing cycle from 7th of every month to 5th, they confirmed me while on the call that it has been changed and I now my account shows that I will receive my bill on 87th Dec, such an unprofessional attitude they have
Calls just keep dropping!
I had Kogan (Vodafone reseller, but I tried Vodafone as well, and had no difference), and the calls just keep dropping out, even with full reception!
Full 4G reception one second, same spot, phone not moving, instant drop out, no reception, then 3G full reception.
This happens on calls and the call gets dropped. Happened so many times I had to switch providers to Aldi and it stopped happening (due to being Telstra)
I love your pricing (especially Kogan's 2 for 1 yearly deals) however what good is it if you can't use the service as it is constantly dropping out?
Fix the service, Coolbellup and surrounding areas (same with Canning Vale) is terrible!
If you have a connection, you are not with Vodafone
I am speechless and amazed that companies like Vodafone, spend millions in advertising to lure new customers and spend next to nothing to make sure the one they have been looked after. I have spent a month to get my mobile sim working. From the start, the wrong number was given to me, eSim was suddenly not compatible, could not log in to the account because they gave me a number which I didn't have, was on the phone for days and every time I called there was another person and I had to go through the whole process to hear....sorry we can't find you in the system. Well, the system was clever enough to charge me the money. How convenient.
My last hope is that someone calls me .........that could get funny.
horrible servce when it comes to deliveries
my iphone 12 mini was delievred to my house, and left in the hot sun for hours. No signature was requested.
Just simply dumped on my door step in the hot sun.Further more there was no bubble wrap to protect the phone from the rough handling it received during transit. Im sure my phone was damaged in some way or another. Really unhappy with aust post
I have given them so many opportunities to improve their service
Extremely frustrating. Poor coverage. Poor customer service. The network coverage was very poor, even in the city. In country towns I would get no service at all which would have been ok however I had no service yet they charged me more that month. I’ve called 6 times and also been into two Vodafone stores. I feel sorry for all the staff because the systems they use obviously let them down because no one could help me or id be on hold to the wrong department for 30mins plus.

After nearly 18 years with Optus we decided to move our mobile & NBN over to Vodafone. HUGE MISTAKE.
We were relentlessly pressured by “Eric” to include a mobile handset we didn’t want (I guess he gets some kind of commission). We were told the phone would be an extra $5/mth but ended up being $8.34 = Total $300.24 on 3yr contract. (The same phone on a 3yr contract with Optus is actually really $5/mth = Total $180 or it can be purchased unlocked outright from online retailers for $350).

Worst con artist, deceit and lies you can imagine
The worst form of deceit and lies ever. Even escalating the problem does not help. They seem to think they are exempt from the law. I spent hours on the phone where they make empty promises for delivering phones, adding wrong amounts to bill, wrong delivery address ( very questionable)l, etc. This is biggest scam group and the operators are trained to lie and mislead the customers and they are extremely skilled in it. Even the managers pretend to be helping when all they are doing is taking the lies a notch further. We are utterly disgraced and deeply disappointed in this terrible company. Media should investigate what is going on. Still waiting for a phone more than a month later and another A few weeks late.
Shocking slow 4G
I just checked my Vodaphone 4G using Internet speed test with Server at Sydney -- and I was totally shock of the result: 0.12Mbps download and 1.4Mbps upload.
Is that the speed of a 4G network that they provide for their client? Shocking.
