there is absolutely no compassion or empathy in dealing with your circumstances. Firstly you will be sent to a call centre in India so there is already a language barrier, secondly no matter what the problem is it is not Vodafone's fault/problem and thirdly they will always try and rip you off any chance they can get. I moved the the mid North coast where Vodafone has no reception at all and they admitted to knowing this, I asked to cancel my plan with them and pay off the handset to which they still make me pay $10 a month for the plan, I unde...rstand it's not much but it's the fact they have admitted they can't offer a service but still expect me to pay. Their customer service team is very rude and will do everything they can to not allow you to speak to a supervisor as they are scared you will say something negative about them, when in all seriousness I am always just trying to get the correct answer. DO NOT use Vodafone as your telephone provider if you want good customer service that will help with any issues. I am still fighting with them over simply paying out my handset in one final payment as they say they will add it to the final bill and bill's just keep coming in monthly so they can get their extra $10, they are a joke of a company.
Worst mobile phone company ever - No customer service
I have been with Vodafone for a few years and then disputed a bill when I upgraded. They charged my new phone to my prior months bill, so effectively I was paying for a phone I hadn't yet received a full month before upgrading, I received the bill the same day, when I specifically called on that day so it would be applied to the next months bill. I tried to discuss the matter with the off-shore call centre, which was useless. Speaking to a brick wall would have been more effective. They have no problem solving skills and do not follow any proto...cols. My call query was not updated in the case files and each time I called I had to reexplain the whole saga. I then made a complaint to the TIO and did not receive any call back. I then started receiving collection notices for the outstanding disputed bill, which is illegal. I called Vodafone to state this and was transferred to the TIO team who were not available, so they just hung up on me. All I wanted was for them to stop the harassing texts and emails for the disputed bill until the TIO investigation was complete. This was too difficult for them to comprehend. I called back again and got the same response from the offshore call centre e.g., hung up on me. They are absolutely hopeless. Offshoring may be cheaper in the short term, but in the long term you will lose customers and it will hurt the bottom line. The outcome is I paid out the phone and I'm now with another provider. Worst customer service ever! Don't bother.
5G Vodafone has terrible reception
Telstra 4G has better reception than Vodafone 5G for example I was at Queen Mary Falls QLD on the weekend and most of the time I didn't have reception and the best I got H. Friends on Telstra 4G were getting 3G of reception.

Do yourself and your contacts a Big Favour and stay well away from the TERRIBLE NETWORK called Vodafone. Data Blackouts phone call dropouts and billing errors. No apologies but there was an offer to give a discount that never happened due to a computer glitch.. These Vodamoan morons are trying to out do the Federal Government for screwups and Nonsense Spin... Give them a Big MISS.....
Vodafone service is the worst service I have ever had. Network as well as staff working in Vodafone store are rude. Really disappointed with service. I will never ever have Vodafone again.

I mistakenly went back to Vodafone after 6 years. I was looking for more mobile data. Vodafone offered a total of 520G for $60 p/mth for 12 months promo. This was too good to resist. I started with them 1/4/21 and finished with them 7/5/21. Why?

The worst customer service anywhere. Impossible to speak to a supervisor. There is zero accountability. Staff are ignorant, rude & outright lie. Worst company to deal with, anywhere in the world!
Useless service and communication
Vodafone is useless, they have frequent problems and when you try ring they give false advice which never happens. They tell you one thing and it doesnt happen. I cancelled my service almost 3 months ago and they are still sending me bills with late payment fees. I have rung, and emailed and still no resolve on this matter. Extremely frustrating, I would not recommend them to anyone ever.
Worst customer service EVER
I bought a new SIM card for my daughter, and it basically didn't work! I tried my own OPTUS sim on the same device and it worked perfectly.
I contacted customer support 5 times, and made two complaints ( Case # 05702732, 05699431), and still can't get my brand new SIM card make very basic phone calls or SMS.
I requested cancellation of my plan and getting refund. But they started suggesting fantastic solutions like waiting for an upgrade of the network in my area.
They basically didn't show any respect to me and my requests, and I'll lodge a complaint to the corresponding authority to get my money back.

worst company in Australia at the moment. coverage is terrible and customer service use the same excuse every time saying its because they are doing a software update. it doesn't 5 years to do a software upgrade. telstra is so good. i ported my number over to telstra. best thing i have every done. worth every cent
Just 2 signals even in metro area !!!
Vodafone is not being able to provide services as promised. I have been struggling to get more signals when I'm at home and I live 5 minutes drive from CBD. I kind of forget that I own 5G phone because I get 2 towers on 4G network. Worst service ever and now it's time to change the service provider.

I have got SIM in Coles, prepaid. To set it up took me three hours. They found an excuse that happened because I did not buy SIM in store. I mean, seriously?
