Worst maintenance team
I have been reporting a black spot of vodafone mobile coverage to complaints/maintenance team many times and instead of them fixing the problem, they are more interested in gathering people's information than fixing the problem.
Unfortunately vodafone has a useless team.
Poor coverage
I made the mistake of joining Vodafone almost 3 years ago with a contract on a mobile phone I have constant dropouts and the coverage seems to have gotten much worse over the past several months
Response from vodafone change the settings on your phone and oh yes we are upgrading in your area.
It doesn’t matter what area of Melbourne I am I have the same issue.
I can’t wait until my contract is up to switch providers in 3months time
I wouldn’t recommend Vodafone
Horrible service in Albany
This garbage is more disconnected than it is connected in Albany Western Australia. Don't count on Vodafone f you are meant to use it outside Perth for data or normal phone use.

Join our class action against Vodafone
We have had a gut full of bad services and it’s not improving. Vodafone have been lying about improved service for decades. They still can’t provide internet at an acceptable speed or coverage even in city areas. It’s disgusting they keep billing us and marketing their lies but we are all bearing the frustration. Look for vodaclassaction on Instagram.

Worst network provider
One of the worst network provider I have ever seen, I have never get a full network in my area and everytime calls are disconnected due to bad network provider.
If I could give negative stars I would.
I have used many teleco providers all over the world and Vodafone is definitely the worst. I would rather amputate my own finger than deal with them in any way shape or form ever again. Honestly, if it looks like a great deal and you’re considering it just don’t. If you think of your time on an hourly wage then the many many hours you are likely to spend on the phone to their trash customer service will far outweigh any additional savings you might make.
Suboptimal provider
Phone service was alright in cities but choppy in many other places. They do provide 5G and it was decent speed in the right places. That bring said, their Vodafone app didn't work most of the time I was with them for different reasons. As time went on I realised how overpriced my plan was and how much they didn't value existing customers. Every deal offered was either for new customers or for adding additional numbers to your account. I don't believe I got a single deal applicable to me in 2 years. When I eventually changed to a a different pr...
Read moreovider with far better value, I was still paying off a phone with Vodafone, but because their system for managing your account is tied to your phone number this screwed up the system, so I was unable to view my account, any of my bills etc. When trying to gain access again they just keep rattling in about using the app (which I no longer had access to). When I finally got hold of someone they then told me that because the account is linked to a phone number the account was deleted when my number got ported to the other provider and now I have to pay out the rest of the phone in a lump sum. Seems like a terrible system when it could just be linked to an email like everyone else and be accessible to people even if they don't have a phone serviceRelated Articles

Misreading and poor customer services. One of the worst experiences ever with a phone I purchased on contract.
Misreading and poor customer services.
One of the worst experiences ever with a phone I purchased from this company which they had me on 3 years plan. Then I was told I can't change my phone number. If I do, I will be charged $20 each time, then there is an arrange of horrible customer services experience followed up, then I was told by 1 stuff to go to another company, then got the manager after I tried and insisted to speak to the manager many times, then finally got speak to the manager. Then this manager email me a refusing, misleading...
Read more, emails without final bills. As when i went to store the manager was busy, and i got a trick phone call from work to have me start work 1 hour earlier. Then I got a bill which cost $234 more. Then when I visited to the company again, I was wait almost 2 hours, the manager still no show up at work or seeing me. And I'm still waiting... We need more phone company. This crumpy world has a lot of poor customer service....- 5 reviews

Worse experience ever with vodafone
Bad reception, as low as one bar reception with 3G network, slow pathetic mobile internet speed. Can't do much with that kind of slow internet speed. Need to bring along with extra phone with another service provider to back me up.

Every query every adjustment and conversation is a circle of repetetive questions and false promises
Terrible at home. Internet is also slow on nbn. Customer service is a tradegy on the libe for 2 hours trying to solve. And then still no solutions offered. Not much else to say.
Up until 2 years ago, excellent. Now just don't. You will regret it.
Have not been able to recharge my prepaid service online for 2 years. Customer service is pathetic. Tried twice to fix the problem wasted hours for nothing. Just don't get involved with Vodafone.

A communication company that doesn’t listen
I have been as Vodafone put it “A very loyal customer” for many years. My bill has been paid on time for so many years but I still get a text message and or email threatening me with a late fee of $15 and when I use their stupid app to pay that bill I almost always have to wait for them to sms me a link to access it only to be told on the day my bill is due that it is over due. I have repeatedly rang up to addresses these issues only to be told “ I understand how you feel” NO they don’t because I make this call regularly and get told it shouldn’t happen again. Then you are asked to do an sms survey. Why bother they don’t listen because you are only one person (sorry “Loyal Customer” NOT)
So over it

The worst network, customer service, and experience ever
Signing up as new Vodafone customer on 29/10/2021. Chose 400GB/month 4G Home Wireless plan for $65 a month with no speed limits, and a month-to-month term. First month free to new customers. Chose to use my own 4G modem and not have one of theirs which is why there is no set term contract. Signed up over the phone and had SIM card delivered to my home address. Took 4 days to receive SIM card. Activated immediately upon receiving SIM.
Average speeds peak time and off peak – Peak download: 20-30mbps. Peak upload: 5-10mbps. Off peak d/l: 30-40mbp...
Read mores. Off peak u/l: 20-25mbps. Peak speeds I found between 7am-11pm (16 hours a day). I spend a lot of time on the internet during both peak and what I consider off peak (between 11pm and 7am). Revision of plans to new signees – not long after I signed up, Vodafone changed their speeds to cap a maximum of 20mbps download. Network issues and outages – 3 or 4 outages over the first 5 months spanning up to 3 hours per outage. Quite rare. But on Monday 4th April, an outage that lasted through till late Friday night 8th April. No service at all for downloading or uploading this whole time. My Vodafone online usage tracking seemed to indicate I was using data intermittently but I can adamantly express that I was not able to use the network at all. Service resumed late Friday night through till Saturday afternoon and died again from Saturday afternoon through till Monday night of April 11. Vodafone never do inform the customer of any issues relating to the network. It is up to us to try research it ourselves. So I eventually find out that many multiple planned and unplanned jobs were being undertaken in my local area. New jobs just kept appearing over the down time. Tuesday the 12th, I bought a new SIM card with another provider and activated that service and cancelled Vodafone on that afternoon.Worst Network
Always poor network. Never get fixed. Being customer with Vodaphone since last 2008 and now I am thinking to change with different provider. Not recommended at all. Do not go with Vodaphone.

Moved to Vodafone from Telstra, one week later
I wanted to move to Vodafone because the roaming offered is more attractive than the one Telstra offers. However I was very hesitant because historically everyone says Vodafone has the least coverage…
Finally I have made the move….
Network is better than my work Optus SIM. I travel from NSW southern highlands to the shire and Blue Mountain weekly and I have reception everywhere I go and more 5G access than my Optus SIM. Areas where Telstra was a black spot, I now have reception also. Sure the 5G reception is more limited than Telstra but that...
Read more doesn’t bother me. The customer service I received is 10 times better than Telstra. They answer the phone within seconds, they respond to live chat immediately and the wait at the Vodafone shop is minimal, if any. Honestly I am so surprised to see all these negative reviews. But this is typical of many telecom providers, people only leave reviews when they are not happy. With half of these reviews generally due to user errors or lack of understanding. If you are hesitant to move from Telstra because they supposedly better, hesitate no more!Questions & Answers
What’s your experience of using Vodafone in Western Australia when travelling
I have no issues with Vodafone Aust, good customer service and my home internet is great been 3 months a couple issues were sorted out very quickly by friendly staff. **** 4 stars
I have been a customer of Vodafone for a few years with both my mobile phone & NBN because I was assured that they were adding towers themselves so as coverage would improve (which it did). Recently the reception on my mobile has now deteriorated markedly along with my NBN connection... After contacting Vodafone on many occasions with no result I am now looking at an alternative NBN connection and ditching Vodafone NBN .Unfortunately, I am still locked into a mobile deal for the next 18months but as soon as I can opt out I shall be doing so.. So disappointed that I have been lied to by Vodafone as I should probably report them to the authorities but that doesn't make the reception any better..
