Disappointing
Promised service would be great and be able to cover our house hold use. “It does not”. It is forever dropping out and it takes up to 2 hrs to get through via phone if your not cut off. You get the same response from them every time.
When it did start to work ok because they had to put us on a different user because they had no connection they started sending us emails threatening to disconnect us if we did change back. They told us to contact them however it took 4 attempts before we got through and the kept on threatening to disconnect. Service is rubbish. They don’t do anything they expect you to fix everything they assist with nothing. There rubbish.

Going Downhill Fast
I have been with this company for over 15 years. They used to have great service. Last 6+ months, with their continual 'upgrades' service was constantly dropping out. Their response was to reset my phone or wait until the upgrades were done (never helped). My concerns were never taken seriously and I certainly wasn't able to use what I was paying for. Needless to say I had enough and swapped companies!
Vodafone Roaming for India
I want to let you guys know my worst experience with Vodafone roaming in India. I took the Vodafone roaming and went to India and nothing worked. Every time I change the city I had no reception and the Internet wouldn’t work biggest mistake. I went from Chennai to Bangalore my google maps wouldn’t work phone wouldn’t work and I got lost and there was no chance of getting my Vodafone working so I Iwant to warn and do not recommend Vodaphone service i to anyone traveling to in India. I I think still the best is to purchase a Sim card from the airport and use it and the worst part was it I got a massive bill of around $330 for two phones biggest mistake I did

Embarrassingly bad
Network coverage is not reliable
Customer service is almost embarrassingly bad - they have a script that they read off and are not capable of deviating from so NOTHING gets fix.
You’ll go through multiple people and each time have to give your details.
Just useless - if you can - avoid like the plague!

Every query every adjustment and conversation is a circle of repetetive questions and false promises
Terrible at home. Internet is also slow on nbn. Customer service is a tradegy on the libe for 2 hours trying to solve. And then still no solutions offered. Not much else to say.

The worst network, customer service, and experience ever
Signing up as new Vodafone customer on 29/10/2021. Chose 400GB/month 4G Home Wireless plan for $65 a month with no speed limits, and a month-to-month term. First month free to new customers. Chose to use my own 4G modem and not have one of theirs which is why there is no set term contract. Signed up over the phone and had SIM card delivered to my home address. Took 4 days to receive SIM card. Activated immediately upon receiving SIM.
Average speeds peak time and off peak – Peak download: 20-30mbps. Peak upload: 5-10mbps. Off peak d/l: 30-40mbp...
Read mores. Off peak u/l: 20-25mbps. Peak speeds I found between 7am-11pm (16 hours a day). I spend a lot of time on the internet during both peak and what I consider off peak (between 11pm and 7am). Revision of plans to new signees – not long after I signed up, Vodafone changed their speeds to cap a maximum of 20mbps download. Network issues and outages – 3 or 4 outages over the first 5 months spanning up to 3 hours per outage. Quite rare. But on Monday 4th April, an outage that lasted through till late Friday night 8th April. No service at all for downloading or uploading this whole time. My Vodafone online usage tracking seemed to indicate I was using data intermittently but I can adamantly express that I was not able to use the network at all. Service resumed late Friday night through till Saturday afternoon and died again from Saturday afternoon through till Monday night of April 11. Vodafone never do inform the customer of any issues relating to the network. It is up to us to try research it ourselves. So I eventually find out that many multiple planned and unplanned jobs were being undertaken in my local area. New jobs just kept appearing over the down time. Tuesday the 12th, I bought a new SIM card with another provider and activated that service and cancelled Vodafone on that afternoon.Related Articles

Moved to Vodafone from Telstra, one week later
I wanted to move to Vodafone because the roaming offered is more attractive than the one Telstra offers. However I was very hesitant because historically everyone says Vodafone has the least coverage…
Finally I have made the move….
Network is better than my work Optus SIM. I travel from NSW southern highlands to the shire and Blue Mountain weekly and I have reception everywhere I go and more 5G access than my Optus SIM. Areas where Telstra was a black spot, I now have reception also. Sure the 5G reception is more limited than Telstra but that...
Read more doesn’t bother me. The customer service I received is 10 times better than Telstra. They answer the phone within seconds, they respond to live chat immediately and the wait at the Vodafone shop is minimal, if any. Honestly I am so surprised to see all these negative reviews. But this is typical of many telecom providers, people only leave reviews when they are not happy. With half of these reviews generally due to user errors or lack of understanding. If you are hesitant to move from Telstra because they supposedly better, hesitate no more!- 2 reviews

Help line is not a help line
I needed to get a copy of some bills for tax records from an account I closed. It was close to impossible to get any help that would work. Went around in circles, was offered unusable advice, went to the store, they had incomplete information for my last few months of service. After numerous attempts and lots of wasted time, have gone to the ombudsman to sort it out.

Told upload speed of 0.01mbps acceptable
I walk five mins from my house to get reception, I’m in the heart of Sydney. Speeds below advertised and have been told on multiple occasions they don’t guarantee speeds.
Quick and Friendly customer service
I wanted to change my package and get some information about my bills. Sanjana and Sadhir were so helpful. They were very friendly meantime quick and Efficient. The recommended package was affordable as well.
You will regret forever after jumping in a contract plan. If service is bad, you will be charged a fee to disconnect it.
Service is horrible and I’ve been charged in full. You will regret forever jumping in a contract plan with Vodafone after the service doesn’t work. Fees for disconnection will be applied in case you don’t want the bad service anymore. My part in the contract should be pay the bills and use a good service, Vodafone part should be provide a good service. When they don’t and you don’t want it anymore, they will say you are breaking the contract

Inconsistent advice
I have been with Vodafone for a long time. I made some enquiries in a Vodafone store, twice over the phone and through web chat. Every time I was given different figures and different information. They are trying to atract people by offering $600 for trade in but not letting them know that it's available after 2 billing cycles. This was only explained to me in a recent call with them, not in the store, not on one of the calls and not on the web chat. Moreover, they keep me on hold for more than 2 minutes on the chat, but when I don't answer for less than a minute, they want to disconnect the chat. It's beyond frustrating.

Possibly the worst experience trying to setup account
Signed up online for an eSim mobile plan. eSim activation and porting process is flawed. Spent hours on via the Vodafone app chat and on the phone trying to get it working, then I try to cancel my plan and was told I need to go into a store to do this.
Going in tomorrow to cancel. Never again Vodafail. Useless.

Worst phone company ever!!!!!
Firstly they cant get the contract right…secondly you try to get it fixed and they leave you on the line for hours only to disconnect the call while you’re on hold…and most importantly….the Login process is the biggest waste of time I have ever encountered! I tried logging into my account only to keep getting pushed back to the login page, it kept sending me text messages with the link and the link kicks me straight back to login. After it did that 6 times it locked me out. SERIOUSLY WORST SYSTEM I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. You cant just simply lo...
Read moreg into the account without having to 20 step operation only to keep getting kicked out. I’m waiting for the contract to end then going back to Telstra….at least Telstra has an easy log in system and better network capability. Vodafone used to be great….sadly is now absolutely crap!Questions & Answers
What’s your experience of using Vodafone in Western Australia when travelling
I have no issues with Vodafone Aust, good customer service and my home internet is great been 3 months a couple issues were sorted out very quickly by friendly staff. **** 4 stars
I have been a customer of Vodafone for a few years with both my mobile phone & NBN because I was assured that they were adding towers themselves so as coverage would improve (which it did). Recently the reception on my mobile has now deteriorated markedly along with my NBN connection... After contacting Vodafone on many occasions with no result I am now looking at an alternative NBN connection and ditching Vodafone NBN .Unfortunately, I am still locked into a mobile deal for the next 18months but as soon as I can opt out I shall be doing so.. So disappointed that I have been lied to by Vodafone as I should probably report them to the authorities but that doesn't make the reception any better..
