Will never use this company again
Try to transfer my number to vadafone, received the confirmation says will take 1 business day, after waited for 2 days still not working, when I ring them the team member says it is technical issue they didn’t received my msg, he can not do anything, just wondering why you send the confirmation then? The team member who take my phone call is also very inpatient, feel like he was yelling to me.
Worst coverage i have experienced
I Have recently swapped to Vodafone, Via Koganon their 365 day prepaid service. Kogan are great, unfortunatley their service provider Vodafone are not. The coverage map stated that i would get 4G pretty much everywhere around my suburb. I get nothing to maybe 1 bar for a brief second every now and then

Awful and deceitful customer service
A customer service rep offered a 'bundle' package for my partner and I and made the process seem very simple - this was not true!!! I feel that he deliberately kept some key bits of information out of the process required so that he could make a quick sale.

Nightmares come true
They make my phone not work when I don't recharge. There's no customer service. They make you wait and then cut you off. My phone will only ring once and hang up.

Up until 2 years ago, excellent. Now just don't. You will regret it.
Have not been able to recharge my prepaid service online for 2 years. Customer service is pathetic. Tried twice to fix the problem wasted hours for nothing. Just don't get involved with Vodafone.

Not bad so far
I've been with these guys now for 3 months. Signed up to a contract with these guys to get the discount (ps5, pre paid sim plan) and nbn. Honestly first month internet was horrible. Now internet works fine download speeds are good. Haven't had drop outs at all. Tech support 3/10.
No reception in most places
It's becoming a joke now. When someone is having reception issues, you say are you with Vodafone and the answer always is yes. Very disappointed and will be switching soon

Terrible, totally useless and not worth the money you pay
Network is terrible, data never works and keeps disconnecting, and when you contact their customer service, fist you will be on hold for at least 40 min and then they just say check if your area is covered. I do not recommend Vodafone at all, don’t waste your money.

Being a new customer and started to regret...Terrible service...
I was with Optus prepaid before. I saw there was a deal of paying $150 to buy a $250 prepaid which ended on 31/1 on the Vodafone webpage. At that time, I was still with my Optus prepaid which would expire in several days. I used the Vodafone LiveChat to check if I could buy the prepaid first and activate the plan later. The representative said No. He said as the prepaid would end on 31/1, I have to buy the card and activate the card no later than 31/1 to get the deal. Because of that, he suggested me to visit a store and buy the prepaid card.

If you run out of data and have no wifi network available- that’s it.. you are done! You can call so called customer service- but let’s not even go there..
in this day and age? Why does this provider even stays in business??
Rude young ignorant staff.
Aggressive and full of attitude. Wanting to show how much she knew about phones before I could even talk. Young Indian girl full of attitude. Worst service ever. Will go with amaysim instead.

No signal at all
I live in Edmondson Park NSW. My area has very bad signal since 2018 I moved there. It is not a rural area at all. I called Vodafone and they explained there was no "tower" and they are building a "tower" and would complete in 2020. Now it is 2022, nothing has changed! I can't even call out from my house!!! I am totally disappointed! I will change to Telstra now!!!!!

They robbed me
These days a lot of us use our mobile to pay for things so when my mobile data shut down for no fault of mine it was more than inconvenient. I had 155gb in my data bank when I got a message that I had used all of my data and not long after I had no internet at all. I called Vodafone and they said someone must have recharged and accidentally used my number. They gave me back my data and restarted my internet. They did not warn me my auto recharge would be affected. For 2 years I have been paying $25 for a $30 plan because I auto recharge. This m...
Read moreonth my internet shut down again unexpectedly because my auto recharge did not happen which I did not cancel. I called Vodafone and they recharged using my card details. I told them I pay $25 but they took $30 from my bank account which was unauthorised. I called Vodafone again and was told I would be refunded $5. I waited 7 working days. I did not get it. I checked the app. They had given me a $5 my credit which I will not use as I have 155 GB in my data bank. I called them again. They said they could only refund the full $30 and shut down my phone again. Or I can wait until my next recharge is due and call them and ask for the $5 in my credit to be used toward my recharge but because it would be a manual transaction the recharge would cost me $30 not the $25 I have always paid as a loyal customer. So Vodafone has robbed me $5 for a mistake not my fault. They refused to give it back. Perhaps Vodafone has found a loophole and just say someone made a mistake. They could do this to 1 million people and make a profit of 5 million dollars. Obviously if this is the case when recharging a link should be sent to you to make sure it's the correct phone. They can get away with it because not everyone will complain or notice $5 missing and according to Vodafone's behaviour while I was trying to resolve this issue, I would not put it past them, especially since I have noticed an increasing amount of big businesses are robbing us. I can't get the $5 back and will be changing Telcos. Do not trust Vodafone. Check everything.customer service is scam
I really should have read the review here before ordering 2 pre-paid sims.
After made the order I realized there is a cashback of 38 bucks for each card, so I called their 'customer service' to cancel the order then one guy told me it takes time to find the new order in the system he will call me back in 20 minutes then it never happened on the day, on the second day I called for the same season another guy is fast and told me he has cancelled my order and it is good to order another two now, after the call I wait for the confirmation email o...
Read morer message to make sure it is canceled before new order, surprisingly it never happened. Basically what they say in the call may not happen, just wonder what is the point to set the so-called customer service, totally waste time putting liar working there.Questions & Answers
What’s your experience of using Vodafone in Western Australia when travelling
I have no issues with Vodafone Aust, good customer service and my home internet is great been 3 months a couple issues were sorted out very quickly by friendly staff. **** 4 stars
I have been a customer of Vodafone for a few years with both my mobile phone & NBN because I was assured that they were adding towers themselves so as coverage would improve (which it did). Recently the reception on my mobile has now deteriorated markedly along with my NBN connection... After contacting Vodafone on many occasions with no result I am now looking at an alternative NBN connection and ditching Vodafone NBN .Unfortunately, I am still locked into a mobile deal for the next 18months but as soon as I can opt out I shall be doing so.. So disappointed that I have been lied to by Vodafone as I should probably report them to the authorities but that doesn't make the reception any better..
