If I could give it a zero I would. I was with them for nearly 20 years, went on holidays for a few months and they cancelled my number then had the gall to make me pay and jump through hops to get it back. Disgusting. First and only experience with Vodafone. And will never go there again. Shameful service that makes other telecommunications companies look like gold
Have to say I thought Telstra were bad but Vodafone takes lack of customer service to a whole new level. I made the misfortune of signing up with them only a few months ago and I am in the process of cancelling all my services right now. I wrote a letter of complaint back in February and they never responded. When I ring all I get is the same scripted response. Noone can think outside the square to help the customer. Vodaphone put customer service and not listening to what a customer has said
I am EPOA for my Fathers account Post paid mobile plan of $55 I requested by phone 3 times now to change to a prepaid mobile sim paid 12 monthly at $265 per year ( no monthly payments) . So far it has been 3 months and they are still not doing what I’ve asked. My dad is in nursing care and doesn’t need a $50 a month sim. The sim I asked for $265 paid once a year. I’m frustrated and angry that they once again have not done what I’ve asked. I will be canceling this account with Vodafone unless they can do it right and fix it. He is in nursing car... Worse mobile company around
Changed to Vodafone as they had a good deal now I see why. Service is TERRIBLE there is only one place in my house I can stand to make calls otherwise they drop out. I asked to stay with my current number but some how I have TWO numbers when I ring it is a new number when I text it is my old number I didn't even know that was possible! And since having this new number I am inundated with scam calls with no less than 10 calls a day being scam calls. I am so disgusted by how terrible Vodafone really is. My sick mother and I had zero coverage on the Gold Coast for over a month!! And she can't even contact voda to ask for her money back ..how does vodafone justify that. Vodafone: Incompetence, False Promises, and Wasted Time
Absolutely disappointed with Vodafone's service. After waiting for a month, I still hadn't received my order. Upon contacting their customer service through chat, they directed me to pick up my order from a local store, only to find out they didn't even have what I ordered available. After another call to their customer service, their brilliant solution was for me to go to a supermarket and purchase a $2 starter pack to activate my plan! Seriously? This is not just incompetence; it's sheer negligence. Not only did they waste a significant amount of my time, but they also incurred additional costs on my end. As I have a new 5G phone still I can't use it with Vodafone as it's not compatible to make or receive phone calls but I can use the Internet and all the options. The best provider in Australia
I recently switched to Vodafone and I have noticed much better internet coverage and speeds, since switching I have saved so much money and can now use 5G at my house, also when switching I chose the $30 pre paid subscription, about a month ago, for the first 3 months I get 45GB instead of 20GB, when I did my second recharge at a night owl service station I had some issues, thankfully I called Vodafone and a coustomer service representative helped me and told me that I can recharge my service on the app and opt in for auto recharge and save $5 per month also my 5G home internet is very fast and reliable, I totally recommend Vodafone. Would rate them lower if i could
Purchased a new sim only plan. Tried to download my esim and activate. Kept saying pin was wrong. Spent half an hour on the phone with their 'tech assist'. Absolutely no help and tell me to wait for it to unlock and try again.Tried again next day. Still same issue. Call again. Finally after another half an hour they realise they sent me the wrong activation email.
Try to make me go into a store to fix it. Never gonna happen. Demand to cancel straight away (5th person I've spoken to by then, thankfully this person was competent).
Absolutely useless company. Make optus and their incompetence look good. Show details

Won’t work overseas in Brazil
Bought international package for $35 as I needed the phone whilst overseas in Brazil and you can’t receive calls or text messages. Support is useless all they suggest is the same thing and really basic, clearly they have no idea what’s really the issue. I moved to Vodafone exactly because I needed the service in Brazil and they told it would work. Now I am stuck here and can’t receive calls or text messages which is a big issue for me (I can make calls and use data roaming). They basically took my money for nothing.
