Misguided Sale
Misguided Sale
Couple of days ago, I was told that I will get $500 + Trade-in value of my old phones. When I purchase any new phone.
I ordered 3 phones (2x Iphone Max and 1x Samsung Note20).
When sale completed, I was told to download Trade-in App and provide trade in reference Number.
Today I called to 1555 with Trade-in reference of my old phone, Vodafone sales person told me that $500 trade-in is available to only with new Samsung S21.
Anyone can help me to resolve the issue or should I go to The Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman (TIO).
Vodafone sales team in India (1555) are not willing to help.

RECORD all your phonecalls with them when you have issues!!!!
My parents and I have been with Vodafone for about 20 years. Thats strictly due to not finding another company with decent coverage and cheap prices. However, we would leave Vodafone in a heart beat should something else come along.
My most recent issue with Codafone was when i lost my phone during a night out. I knew there was no way of getting it back so i called Vodafone to have the phone completely blocked. You couldnt turn the phone on or use it. They then asked if I wanted another phone replacement but i didnt want to be paying for 2 ph...
Read moreones. They offered to completely wipe the bills of the previous phone and have it removed. For the past 6 months i thought i had been paying for one phone, turns out the bill was for both. There is no record in the notes on their system stating any of that was promised which means, i now have to continue owing that. Please get everything in writing and record phone calls! If they say something make them write it up in an email and send it to you WHILE you’re on the phone. Get all names down from the call workers. Record the phone call so if needed you can write down the phone call and take things further. You can also address the fact that youre recording to then make it legal.lltotessunshine coast

Minus 1 billon Stars - I’d rather eat razor blades
After nearly 18 years with Optus we decided to move our mobile & NBN over to Vodafone. HUGE MISTAKE.
We were relentlessly pressured by “Eric” to include a mobile handset we didn’t want (I guess he gets some kind of commission). We were told the phone would be an extra $5/mth but ended up being $8.34 = Total $300.24 on 3yr contract. (The same phone on a 3yr contract with Optus is actually really $5/mth = Total $180 or it can be purchased unlocked outright from online retailers for $350).
“Eric” managed to set up our NBN & billing as being at 2 d...

Bad Online Support Team
I wanted a 12pro max, I tried to order my phone twice and they get it wrong at the first time ( wrong product, wrong address), then I tried to order again, after everything done I didn’t get any receipt. I gotta wait for a week to get reply from Facebook support team then they said: You didn’t order anything, I see there’s an 12 pro iphone (the wrong one) but its been cancelled. The worst service ever!

NEVER SIGN UP WITH VODAFONE!!!!
I was Charged $139.99 and charged me for two months NBN in one billion cycle. terrible service, NBN has been down for 3+ months and no support arrived. Customer services to useless, no help at all, every agent keeps repeating the same information over and over again. once a call is transferred the same information needs to be repeated to the new agent.

Stay away!!
So you purchase an awful device and you stuck with it just because!
If you're buying a new device don't even think about going with them
Go for another company that appreciate customer experience
Because they don't

Vodafone, mobile phone, NBN, shop services, online chats, contact
Reliability of NBN is depends to your luck, sometimes you can have it only for short time and then your internet is gone.
Reception of mobile, you can call but they can not here you.
Customer Service of Vodafone branches, could no be worth, within one week after connection I went 7 times with zero results.
Live Chat: I had many customer support Live Chat, only in one chat they transferred me to 4 people, which you need to explain everything again and again, no expertise, no solution
Telephone Contact: Be patient to wait over 2 hrs and naturally you switch off.
If you would like heart attack go for Vodafone.

Beware of this company in Australia
Beware of this company in Australia. Very bad customer service, I called three times for a problem, since I bought two phones the price was $ 2,200 and they gave me a year of amazon prime. Later on the invoice they charged me the amount of Amazon Prime and I claimed and they told me that they had been confused and I did not have that offer. Call three times and each time you call they tell you that it is solved and they do nothing. Customer service is very bad, they do nothing to fix it. A disaster. I do not recommend this company.

they wont help when you need them to
my husband has been a loyal costumer for 19 years. we have four phones a Samsung 9 iPhone 8 Huawei p30 pro and a oppo R15 we also have a Ipad 128gb. We are paying $377 a month and recently bought a Samsung Active 2 watch for $649. The watch started overheating and died in two hours after 8 weeks we took it to Vodafone and they sent it in for repairs. After two weeks we got it back and they told us they couldn't identify a fault if it happens again take it to Samsung. The next day the watch overheated and died after two hours. I called Vodafon...
Read moree and told them what had happend and they told us its not their problem to take it to Samsung. We told them that we don't have a Samsung store near us, and we had spoken to fair trading who told us they need to fix it as they are the ones that sold it to us. They told us me I have no rights and they wont be doing anything. I wouldn't recommend them because when something goes wrong they wont help and its not worth the trouble.TonyDarling Downs, QLD

Prepaid voucher
I bought a prepaid voucher. Activated it, I tried to access the internet, couldn't. When I did, I found it was all gone. I texted Vodafone. I got a poor response. They said my security code wasn't the same. I texted them the next day. They fixed me up with a new security code. And arranged for a new voucher.

prepaid internet robbery
I have a prepaid internet with Vodafone via a Wi-Fi modem, a 365 day contract, which I have had for many years. $ 60 gave me 12 gig . I payed for my recharge voucher to enter before the expiry date. This time I tried to enter as I have done for the last few years, but it wasn't excepted by my existing contract but buy a new term of now only 90 days. Vodafone informed me they had changed there arrangements, even though I had not let my existing contract expire . I spoke direct to Vodafone about a refund of my voucher and was told as I paid cas...
Read moreh for that voucher Vodafone would do nothing to reimburse me and if the voucher supplier would refund me , that's my bad luck. Who ever reads this do not sign up with Vodafone as they could change your contract with no respect for what they tell you.KenSydney, NSW
Keep well away from Vodafone
Loyalty means nothing to Vodafone. I have been a user of the 365 day plan with Vodafone over 10 years. At some point I discovered that they were charging me $2 per Mb data usage. Hang on, that ought to be 2 cents per Mb, not $2! I went to check on their website and the rate was quoted as 2c. I went to complain to one of their shops. Their staff did an "investigation". After a while they said yeh it is $2! That's because on the website, they only post the rates of the "365 day plus" plan, not the "other" plan which I was currently having. So the...

They refused to let me leave with my number because my "details" did not match and suggested I keep using their service. All these many years, they accepted my money and my details were not updated, but as soon as I decide to leave, my details were not matching.Find out how Vodafone compares to other Mobile Phone Service Providers

There is no phone company more useless, and that's saying something
Don't assume their website is accurate. They will take your money, and only after they have your cash will they inform you of the truth. Refunds are a huge pain.

WORST customer service, rude, argumentative.
The staff has some kind of cowboy complex.
Even when on the phone to Vodafone customer care they refused to change my unopened, untouched phone. It was delivered to their store, I had not even touched the box.
customer care spoke to them on the phone and requested they change or return the device and they refused.
TWICE over two days. I was even thrown out of the store on the Saturday. I had been there for 50 minutes and was still there as they closed after 45 minutes of waiting. They told my daugh...

Ridiculous network coverage and Incompetent customer service
I have been a Vodafone customer for 13 years and moving out after experiencing a bad network coverage for long time. Customer service is absolutely incompetent. I have opted for a $5 roaming service and had to move out to a local network - but charged by Vodafone even though network was 0. When raised the same with technical team - after 48hours a reply received " everything looks good -no issues".

No stars at all: this company is full of scammers & fraudsters
Firstly, they can't speak English and you can't understand them. Despite already having a plan with them (regrettably), they booked me up for a new phone and plan without my authorisation or permission. Hell, they even sent this phone to some place in Victoria (probably one of their scammer buddies) despite me completing several ID checks and my efforts telling them that I never ordered this phone. When I rang Pakistan or India or someplace there they told me I had to fill out a fraud form. I have to fill out a form because one of their employe...
