Terrible customer service

The phone connection starts dropping out. VA has changed the sim several times with no improvement in connection. The phone now requires a wifi connection to send SMS. VA admitted that it was a Samsung issue, and to lodge an insurance claim, assuring me that a loan phone would be available to use whilst my phone was being repaired, instead giving me a run-a-around between city and suburban stores, each telling me that a loan phone is not available. Frustrated. Called their helpline, to (1) placed on hold for 15 minutes, then (2)got a call back to have the call terminated by the VA's service rep.

Amazed at the amount of dissatisfied customers on this site, is the telecom ombudsman paying attention to these? Show details

Last Resort

You must be hard pressed to deal with this company, I tried to re-charge my MIL phone online and thru mobile phone. When I was unable to do so I rang the helpline and was told I need to go to a service station or supermarket to get a re-charge voucher. This is the 21st Century Vodafone .... Wake UP! Show details

I'll never recommend to anyone

Pleaser don't bother yourself to be a customer of Vodafone. One of my biggest mistake. Ridiculous, poor, sh*t service as well as customer service. Since I joined that sh*t service, I never use full service at my work and where I live. Even it take time to open and send WhatsApp messages. I have too much to write. Worst mobile service i ever used

I've never encountered such poor mobile service from any other provider. From Brisbane to Sydney, I struggled with reception, and around the Theme Parks, there was no coverage at all. Unexpectedly, I lost coverage where I live, and despite hearing about service upgrades, there has been no communication for months. Even at my workplace, I can't get a signal. This lack of transparency and declining service quality has left me extremely disappointed. The situation seems to be going from bad to worse. Show details

Don’t not get yourself Vodafone account

Please do not go for Vodafone, if not you will end up like me.
I have actually cancelled direct debit payment option but still they have access to my bank without my consent. I recently moved back to my country permanently and I have cancelled my account and my phone number [Content Removed] but they have been charging me for past three months. I have actually called them regarding this issue but the customer service was really bad, they still couldn’t fix my problem. I even emailed Vodafone regarding my issue yet they still didn’t answer my mails. Now I have forwarded complaints hoping they would response. Worst service ever. Show details

Whatever can break - breaks! And they charge you after cancelation

I have signed up for Vodaphone and tried to transfer my number there
1. Instruction on the web-site for number transfer was misleading. It didn't tell that I should activate sim-card first.
2. When I tried to activate using app, I got "Internal Server Error"
3. When I spend 40 minutes on the phone chatting with 3 different support people, they have sent me an activation qr code, and it didn't work either!
4. I have called them again and spend 20 minutes to cancel my plan. Ands clearly stated them that I'm not going to pay. They have made me sure that I won't be charged.

Now I have to make another call because I have got my bill and they ask me to pay $45 for the service I didn't use Show details

Extremely Bad Customer Service

Truly the worst experience I have ever had with a customer service team, my experience with them was an absolute nightmare. I had to wait on the line for an hour and a half, and they just didn't seem to understand my situation at all, and to make matters worse, they kept trying to charge me for something I didn't even need, multiple times. In the end, I felt like I wasted my time and got absolutely nowhere. I wouldn't recommend their service to anyone. They seriously need to step up their game and improve their customer support.

Useless to the core!

Connecting to customer support is exhausting as well. Half of them can understand basic english. Of course they gotta save money by outsourcing it to India. Everytime you get connected to an Indian and the chat is painful. Bloody ridiculous! Show details

Vodafone are useless, poor coverage no matter where you are, no internet sometimes for 2-3 days, they had this problem years ago and many of their customers left them, it goes to show that they never learn or care about customers, and then on top of that they spends millions of dollars in advertising to get back customers they had before, go figure... Show details

Phone has no network at least 8 hours a day

Our work uses these mobiles, also my personal mobile is with them. cannot text, email or make and receive calls via any mobiles. Commercial and private customers beware. Staff are using the land line to ring people after going outside and down the street to check for missed calls. third world country type problems i would rate no stars. cant believe they are still billing anyone for a service not provided 20+ phones affected. Show details

Rude and very poor customer services

I called Vodafone to simply ask when my contracts end and last payment due the staff member Bernice in Retentions team was so rude . How is she in this team if she wants to save customers . She was rude , spoke over me , did not listen I've been a customer of Vodafone for 20 years I joined because it used to be amazing but they have since gone offshore and the staff are rude I'm not staying here and can't wait to leave . They need to invest in retraining their staff simple customer service . It's not hard to be nice . Don't do the job if you're rude ! Show details

Couldn't use credit card facilities to recharge and not being the best with tech chatted to Vodafone staff live. Very frustrated which staff handled with manners and patience. Then did my recharge on the house. Very nice result Show details

I wouldn’t give a star if I could but VODAFONE REALLY SUCKS. Their customer service is not accommodating and that mf won’t let me speak. If you’re considering their mobile plans or service, please don’t. Move to a better provider. The cheap price is not worth the stress and hassle you’ll get from their representatives! THE WORST!

10 days too long

Jumped from Telstra and then jumped right back.... No reception at home (within 55km of the Vodafone shop) or where I work. Effectively useless. Went back to Telstra as soon as I could (10 days). Still cost me $55 plus an $8 service fee for the privilege..... Zero stars if I could.. Show details

Much improved customer service

Like most customers, I had major issues with Vodafone a few years back - however, I can honestly say I am very impressed by recent interactions with Customer Service. It took me a while to get through today, but once he answered, the agent couldn't have been more helpful.
There are still some areas where Vodafone could improve, particularly with regards to some of the overseas carriers that they use for their international roaming arrangements. But in general, I get the impression that they are working hard to get things right. In particular the lovely young Indian man (Uberd ?) who helped me today.

Absolute disgrace

#Vodafone what an ABSOLUTE DISGRACE Been waiting 7 weeks for confirmation that a phone update has been cancelled. No communication from #Vodafone me making weekly calls only to be told it’s all been cancelled over a week ago and they didn’t notify me, just kept passing the buck to other staff. No ownership from #Vodafone, THATS A 7 WEEK WAIT TO CANCEL A PHONE #Vodafone after Australia post wouldn’t let us collect it from them.

Worst customer Service Ever

Been with Vodafone for more than 10 years and when one issue arise, the response is so bad.
Order Iphone 15MAx promised to be delivered in 2 days. They failed and at the 10th days of waiting, cancelled the order. Chat with 4 people and confirmed but an invoice is still coming with new iphone on it. Get a message and still need to pay the invoice and also check at the apps. After more than a month a package-unidentified come and now they want to return it to store not organizing to pick up. Lucky the store is only 15 minutes away, what happen if I leave 3-4 hrs away from the store.

I have 4 accounts previously with Vodafone spend 300 dollars a month and become 2 account and become 1 acoount and time to get rid this account very soon. Show details

Worst mobile reception in Australia?

If there is a poorer telco in Australia I would be amazed - reception is pathetic anywhere except city - in Mudjimba Sunshine Coast and have 1 bar 4g reception - it's like old school dial up - Vodafone is supposed to be a multi national provider - be binning Slowdafone as soon as we get home! Show details
