Vodafone doesn't deserve a single star. Customers deserve better.
Called them in May 2020 to cancel the tablet plan after 24 months got over. Customer service person acknowledged and cancelled it. I am still getting billed through the direct debit in October 2020. Called them to check and they said the plan was never cancelled. There is no note at their end.
Long waiting times, took 20 min to connect each time and gets disconnected randomly. Called agian today and they transferred to their Cancellation team, and automated IVR says, "You have called us outside business hours. Talk soon." and call got disconnected.
There is no option to cancel online.
Spoiled by Wekeend so far. But calling ombudsman on Monday if they are not refunding.
Disrespectful and Rude Customer Service
Overcharging customers and no reversal options. The network is unreliable and customer service is rude. They will only ask you for a review or rate the customer care experience if you had a positive outcome. That’s not an ethical business model.
Very poor network service , Need to improve Your network quality. I have very bad experience with vodafone.please provide quality service to your customer. Very very bad experience with vodafone thanks.
Customer service have no idea
Several weeks ago i chaged mobile phones my number stayed the same however i was unble to copy my email because i had forgotten the password. I set up a new email notfied vodafone by the myvodfone app and followed up with phone call to ensure that i did it right i was assured that it did.
I am receiving emails including my monthly bill at the old email address.
I phone customer service today to ask why. I got quicly frustrated by questions this soon turned to anger so i hung up.
I am now seriously considering going to another provider who is not attached to vodafone
Appalling service - ludicrous attitude - inexplicable response
Vodaphone don't appear to monitor these reviews and clearly don't care so there isn't much point posting this - but I will anyway.
My family have had 3 plans with Vodaphone for several years: wife $40 phone & SIM, daughter $40 phone & SIM, me $15 SIM only.
My very old phone died, and I thought it would be easy to simply buy a new one and transfer the SIM. Unfortunately the smallest I could make my SIM was "micro" and most phones now require "nano".
We contacted Vodaphone to get a replacement SIM. Spent a fruitless half an hour plus in onli...ne chat with complete twit who was obsessed with selling me a new phone plan and upgrading me to a $40 SIM plan that I did not want, couldn't tell me how much the new total would be (it came up different every time he added it up), kept saying he could send a new SIM but wouldn't actually arrange it when asked and in the end almost cancelled my daughter's plan for some reason. While arguing with the first twit I jumped online on a second PC and arranged a replacement SIM with another person - it took 5 minutes. I specifically asked if we needed to activate the new SIM and was told it was pre-activated.
Can I don't even put an start? it's awful service.
I was vodafone client for years, no problem. Then I wanted to upgrade my services but requested a no lock in contract but end up getting it (I was unaware of) then not even a month in, I started to get Vodafone messages saying they were no longer providing service in my area (I am in rural Australia), the messages were quite harass, every fortnight even. Ok, not problem, went to a vodafone shop to make sure if I could change to another mobile provider without incurring in extra payment, they said yes, no problem. NO ONE ever mentioned about get...ting bill for. Months after a months still getting bills for a SERVICE they hasn't provide and ALSO they forced me to get out of this. CALL CENTER is useless and said to me I shouldn't listen what they said in the vodafone shop!!! I mean are you serious? it's your OWN vodafone team! he said I should just call them, well guess what? when you search the vodafone website, there is no CALL CENTER number! You need to find it other ways. WHAT A AWFUL HORRIBLE SERVICE. It feels like scam!
Overpriced, automated charges they won't tell you about, bad service.
Worst carrier in Australia. After years (10+) of bussiness with Vodafone I ended up getting shafted and having to move carrier. High prices, automated charges and restrictive and overpriced plans. Use Aldi or Optus, better service, better prices.
Honestly dont go with vodafone the Worse worse Worse internet connection cant even get any network in any where in Melbourne called them about it and i was told to use my wifi to make calls Worse customer service!! I give them 0 star!
Worst telco service I’ve experienced in 20 years
Internet coverage and phone reception is terrible. My work calls constantly drop out, which is highly unprofessional, and my web calls overseas do not last longer than 2 minutes. This is just plain disruptive and frustrating. The best Vodafone offered me is a 50% discount for a service I could not use 100% of the time. My work is my livelihood, also keeping in touch overseas with family is of paramount importance to me, and Vodafone service is completely useless in meeting these needs. I have spoken to Vodafone 3 times so far, only to have cust...omer service take me through various Unsuccessful trouble shooting steps, to then tell me theres Infrastructure work going on in my area. Dear Vodafone, why couldn’t you be more honest and up front about works in my area, instead of wasting my time on 3 different occasions for at least an hour each time, while requesting me to perform silly and unnecessary reboots on my phone. My last call with Vodafone was barely audible, and the rep tried to explain audio issue came from his end, when it was actually the Vodafone network sitting on one reception bar on my phone. Needless to say the call then disconnected. I think one month of ongoing issues is too long without a resolution. When Telstra and Foxtel undertake any type of maintenance work I’m informed well in advance and usually services resume within a day. Whereas with Vodafone I’m never notified, I only find out once I experience connectivity issues, and then not provided an ETA when I report those issues. You can’t expect to charge customers for a non existent network and poor service - the customer has chosen you over other competition and is entitled to equal or better market standards, they are after all paying you for this!
I have no words to say how bad this service provider is.
The customer service officers are the worst and they need to use their manners, they have no phone manners they have the worst way to explain things and they can't help you because they are terrible.
Worst. Minus Score Rating!
Just don't bother! I was treated so badly as a new customer. No one could give me answers to a SIM that couldn't be activated and a NBN bundle. Very hard to connect with heavy credit checks. I was bounced around so many of their so called departments I felt like a basket ball! I ended up with no connection, no solution and no answers. Vodafone customer service was so substandard that they didn't even know what day of the week it was! They were good at extracting your information tho and saying sorry every 2nd sentence. The whole experience has ...left me feeling angry, frustrated and anxious about giving away my personal details. After 16hrs over 3 days on hold and chat I cancelled the service as it was just to hard to connect with this super bad telco...Never again vodafone! If I could give vodafone a -10 star rating it would be to much! Please don't go past this review as I did with others...their cheapish rates are just not worth it! The bad reviews here are 100% correct.
I ordered a sim only plan online two weeks ago and what I first don't like is how they ask for your mobile phone as a mandatory requirement for the order to go through. Like for my case, my old phone plan and phone number have expired that's why I am ordering a new plan, asking for my phone number is absolutely nonsense. Calling them is worse, they kept on transfer you through departments and after transferring you they would ask you the same thing which you have to explain. nothing has solved from the call as they said simply just wait? textin...g them is no different as they transfer you through departments and not bothered to read the old conversation, the guy who I chat to eventually pretended that I have been disconnected for too long and leave the chat? Wow absolutely best impression ever.

Dealing with Vodafone: An unmitigated nightmare
For the last three years or so I've been using Vodafone's mobile broadband. I've used the 4G PocketWifi device. It's great portability and ever so slightly lower monthly cost than NBN, so while the value might not be great it's also a plan that really suits me as I don't use much data.
However: service frequently drops out, several times every internet session. Internet speeds vary. Now when I tune in for Zoom meetings or teleconferences, I either just use my phone or use my phone hotspot as the vodafone service is so unreliable (or rather, rel...
Left Optus and moved to Vodafone. Tried calling them today and was hanging on for 1 hour 20 minutes and had to hang up as there were no signs of them picking it up. They are hiding behind Covid19 which is crap. They have taken this opportunity to reduce cost by cutting staff. Will need to move somewhere where there is service but where? Everywhere you go in Australia it is becoming this. They just don't care because everyone dishing out bad service. These company does not do your heart any good.
Horrible Internet Coverage
Vodafone has terrible coverage even in the CBD and within 30k radius around the CBD. It only gets worse further you go.Only reason I use Vodafone is due to the availablity of international calls to certain countries.
Very bad network
Network of vodafone is very bad even you live in Sydney city. Data speeds very low and un sufficiently at all. All member in my family are customer of vodafone but now make us disappointment.
Good provider, could be best
Customer service- perfect
Price - Can be controlled
I've been Vodafone customer for 14 year in India and Australia.
I couldn't get unlimited calls to India anymore so I left it but may join back if a nice package will be offered
User unfriendly website.
I have been with Vodaphone for 18 months on a sim only plan since I scrapped the landline. The service itself has been faultless, however since I can't understand foreign call centre staff I went online to choose a GB upgrade and found their website so confusing and biased to new customers I ended up changing to another carrier who had an easy to understand website, and had my phone number ported within 24 hours. So long, Vodaphone.
Terrible provider with no customer service
Vodafone has almost no customer service whatsoever. I am actually surprised that they do not even have an email address you can email or an online chat option. If you have any issues you have no choice but to call and be on hold for indefinite periods of time. If you are unable to get through and still have issues with your phone they will continue to charge you. In that sense there is little incentive to address your problems promptly.
Need to know when my contract finishes
Need to know when my contract finishes, waiting 15 minutes already on hold, why I can not see it in vodafone app. It says there I have to call them.
