Nbn no good
Absolutely terrible data download speed on vodafone nbn. If you are looking for a nbn provider find someone else. I contacted vodafone about the connection and they told me they had adjusted something ast their end but still no better.
5G speed worst than 4G
Worst 5G. 4G with other providers outbeat 5G speed of Vodafone. Customer Service not very clear of the products specs they are listing. Very Unhappy with Chippy network and Customer Service.
Vodafone is terrible. I’m 4 days without connection. Nobody says anything. I can not cancel this line and they can not do nothing to get my connection back. I hate this company
Rude unhelpful and uninformed
Went into the Mitchelton Store, the older guy has works is abrupt, rude and had no interest in helping you. I tried to set up a business account with Vodafone. According to Vodaphone a Discretionary Trust with Corporate Trustee is not a business and they won’t give you an account. Old mate in the store could not say why, and really just wanted me to leave the store. He told me to call Vodafone, which I did. 30mins later after being transferred around no one could tell me why. Went back into the store begrudgingly to get the account in my name (...Vodafone was the best option for wifi calling in my area). The guy was so rude about porting the number over. I would have just left if we hadn’t already set most of it up. Absolutely terrible new customer experience. 10/10 Do not recommend!
If I could i would rate Vodafone minus 5 stars but as this is not an option and I had to rate them I gave them a 1, which is not deserved
I have just tried to pay my mobile bill via the app, which failed as they are having technical difficulties. I then tried to pay by calling into Vodafone where I confirmed my card details at the end my payment was not confirmed. I then called back to speak to someone . Higher call volumes as usual and I could arrange a call back. Soonest is 4 days time . How pathetic.
I also signed up with Vodafone for NBN, what a disaster and lack of service. Cancelled within 3 weeks.
My advice to anyone don't go with Vodafone, Their service is shocking.
Read the fine print cause they'll trap you
To be fair their network has improved. But their business practices are dodgy as. Signed up for a 12month plan with $1 a month promotional phone. 12months roll around I ring up to find out how much time I have left. No time left month to month contract from here on out but if I leave I have to pay out the rest of the phone because it was on a 36month contract and the dollar promotion doesn't apply I have to pay it out at full price..ok switch me to the cheapest plan... $40 a month is there cheapest plan..
Vodafone cant keep promises
So this post is about a ps5 order that never materialized! Long time (over 10 years) mostly happy customer here. Happy until I was duped into buying a ps5 from Vodafone by a well-trained salesperson who assured me I couldn't get it from anywhere else in time and I would definitely get it before the 15th (it was a birthday present so the timing was important). 15th turned to 20th, 20th turned 23rd. Each time I called ( called 4 times now) I was told there out of stock (whereas when I ordered I was told they have stock...strange how it changes wh...en trying to get me to give some more money). Last time I called I even escalated the matter to a manager who said my order was a priority and I would get it before the 23rd. Today's 23rd and after a disappointing call with Vodafone I was told...you guessed it...no stock, too bad you just have to wait! How can a so-called well-reputed multi-million dollar company not get its logistics right that they cant tell customers if they have stock or not? Or at the very least stop guaranteeing dates! There are mistakes and then there is outright lying, several times!. Mr Iñaki Berroeta are you aware or do you even care? Here I am still hoping good sense and customer service will prevail and trying to figure out what to do for the birthday.
Not very good for royal customer.
I am with Vodafone form 2007, nearly 15 years, a royal customer, even if my wife said there is better plan with another service provider, I always refuse to switch.
In July 2018, I joined $40 plan, 40G data for 12 months, after expiry, they didn't call me and provide a new plan, I supposed I will automatically roll into a new plan with 40G data but reduce speed after 40G.
Last month, there was issue with WIFI for a couple of days, and I was using mobile to watch movie online, I got an message for 85% data used up, I didn't read in ...detail and didn't paid much attention, then I got the bill for $120, $5 for per G data I used which after 40G. I called their customer service, they are willing to provide $40 discount on the condition that I signed another 12 months contract with them. I told customer service I am with them for 15 years, but they still refused to waive the extra $80, pointing that it was my mistake I didn't read the message in detail.
No customer loyalty. Vodafone just take take take take and give nothing back in my son's situation.
My son has Been with vodafone for 3 years( against my will). Today Optus gave him a better deal for a new phone and plan according to his credit rating. He has never missed or have been late with a payment with Vodafone. They were offering him $10 for his phone as trade in.(worth $400 today, Big insult). With Optus He got to keep his old phone, Upgrade to a better one on a similar plan as Vodafone, for a much cheaper rate. I never thought he would leave Vodafone, but today he realised that customer loyalty means jack to Vodafone once they ...get your money!!! What's worse he offered to pay out the last 2 months of his contract to get them off his head and they wouldn't let him pay for it on the spot. He has to wait to be billed. I don't understand. Anyway no skin off his nose as his reception is better now. He noticed the difference almost instantly. His monthly costs have reduced and he is a Happier customer now that Optus went out of their way to take his business. Vodafone when are you going to learn that you need to look after your customers. You need to stop assuming that they won't leave. I was with Vodafone for years. Their actions were barbaric. I won my case, through the ombudsman and my 3 year contract was terminated without penalty after 18 months. That's how barbaric they were in my situation. I think I was the only person in Australia that had their service terminated without incoming call only option. I wasn't late with payments. Totally up to date My phone got stolen and was insured and they gave me a loan phone waiting for my insurance to pay me out and get another phone through Vodafone. They disconnected my loan phone before I could get my replacement and left me with no phone for 2 days. They refused to budge and reconnect it. So I refused to return the loan phone. I'm a carer for my mum. She was in a wheelchair. My auntie was in hospital dying, her doctors had my number as first point of contact for her. They could not call me. Vodafone realised their mistake and said they would reconnect my loan phone. They didn't l. I was on the phone with them for two days crying stressing because I had to be at the hospital yet I was too scared to leave my mum incase she had an emergency(wheelchair,) my child was at school and anyone that was reliant on me could not make contact with me for two days. I couldn't even ring Vodafone cos I didn't have a phone. Please remember that this was not for late payment I always paid on time for about 18 months at $65. In the end I went to office works bought a phone, rushed to the hospital and my auntie died 1 day later. They knew my auntie was dying yet they refused to let me keep my loan phone for an extra day. I missed my auntie being conscious. Doctors tried to ring me and they even wrote me a supportive letter as to what their actions caused me. I was a mess. I never got to say goodbye and I still Hate vodafone for their actions. There!!!! Honest review done on a greedy company.
Vodafone are shysters
Vodafone connected 3 numbers to my home internet service, that I never asked them too, for over 2 years I’ve been contacting them to remove them, the number have never been sued or operated by anyone, & we have never received SIM cards
Now the are saying they will cancel them, and only credit us for 6 months, instead of the $2000 + they should, I will never use Vodafone again, & will warn everyone I know against using them,
What a disgusting despicable company
NO CONNECTION AT ALL
On a good day, I have very weak connection no matter where I am - work, out and about or at home. This I have had to unfortunately put up with. Which is not ideal, but bearable as long as I can somehow connect to the network.
However, the last 4 days have been beyond a joke! I literally have no connection at all. I can't use my data. Can't message anybody. Can't call anyone including emergency services. No body can contact me either. My phone is useless without connection.
What on earth is going on???
When my contract is up I am leaving Voda...fone. Two of my children are with a different network and have coverage all the time!! Meanwhile, I am having to stand on one leg with my head turned to the right just to take a call without my connection dropping out. Sick of it. Especially when I know I can have better coverage with someone else! Counting down the days until I can say goodbye to crap coverage.
I would give Zero stars if I could
Customer service is appalling, the staff can't help with any issue you have keeping you on the phone for 40min every time only to tell you that you have to visit a store
Disincentive to join Vodafone
I wanted to purchase a new Apple 13 with a Vodaphone plan. To my major surprise, despite the fact that I never had any negative credit history, as confirmed in writing by credit agency Equifax, Vodafone rejected the phone-purchase plan simply because I was not an existing Vodafone customer. I contacted the head office and the head of the credit team confirmed this policy to me. Can you believe this ? Vodafone is paying Equifax millions to verify the credit history of potential customers but even if a potential customer has the best credit repo...rt of the country, they will still not sell him a phone plan if the person has not been an existing customer. No wonder that the company is losing market share with such a stupid and disincentivising policy.
Worst company I have ever dealt with
Ordered sim for a pocket wifi modem. Never arrived. Was told can’t cancel it til I receive it!! But still happy to bill me! got the account cancelled last Sunday ( so I thought) then money was taken from my account. Please note I have no service with them because the sim never arrived. Now told they will reverse the money taken out and cancel the direct debit but another bill will come in a couple of weeks!! What!?!
I cannot even use up 15 GB of my 30 GB plan because of poor network, day or night, No service to even search online ley alone watching a video!! I gave up totally
