Not bad so far
I've been with these guys now for 3 months. Signed up to a contract with these guys to get the discount (ps5, pre paid sim plan) and nbn. Honestly first month internet was horrible. Now internet works fine download speeds are good. Haven't had drop outs at all. Tech support 3/10.

Not very good for royal customer.
I am with Vodafone form 2007, nearly 15 years, a royal customer, even if my wife said there is better plan with another service provider, I always refuse to switch.
In July 2018, I joined $40 plan, 40G data for 12 months, after expiry, they didn't call me and provide a new plan, I supposed I will automatically roll into a new plan with 40G data but reduce speed after 40G.
Last month, there was issue with WIFI for a couple of days, and I was using mobile to watch movie online, I got an message for 85% data used up, I didn't read in ...
Read moredetail and didn't paid much attention, then I got the bill for $120, $5 for per G data I used which after 40G. I called their customer service, they are willing to provide $40 discount on the condition that I signed another 12 months contract with them. I told customer service I am with them for 15 years, but they still refused to waive the extra $80, pointing that it was my mistake I didn't read the message in detail.- 6 reviews

Reasonably priced plans with attractive inclusions, but network quality lets it down
Vodafone has always been competitive in their plans and that's what attracted me to signing up in the first instance. I thought that being in metropolitan Melbourne would be okay in terms of network coverage. Unfortunately, I seem to be experiencing network quality issues even in metro areas. Network may be congested random times of day resulting in "Call Failed" error messages, and signal strength is also spotty. I had to leave because I value network quality as it is starting to get frustrating.

loyal customers should be rewarded. not other way around
i’m giving 2 stars just because they offer great deals for new customers.
Not so great to loyal customers( i’ve been with them for 8 years ) . they offer a plan with 80gb for 45$ a month if you’re a new customer but not for someone it has been with them for 8 years .. i’ll have to pay more to get more Gb that i actually don’t need when i just wanted that specific plan.
loyal customers should get at least same deals as new customers … AT LEAST .
great provider for NEW CUSTOMERS ONLY .

Vodafone Marion Westfield SA simply woeful -- never again!
On 29 May 2021 I spoke with someone at Vodafone online support staff on a problem with a small white simacrd-driven modem who lights work intermittently during the day or not at all until night time. Which means during the day I have to keep checking the modem is still working. He advised me to approach Vodafone Westfield Marion. On 3 June I did. The lady who served me kept asking me questions that were irrelevant to my issues. Noting my frustration to explain to her in clear and succinct English, she finally tweaked. But then told me to bring ...
Read morethe modem in and a technician will look at it in five to ten days. It's still under warranty until Dec '21. Why was she so hard of hearing in the first place? Seemed to me she was trying to fob me off, perhaps to get back to her social media on her phone, as was another of her colleague next to me fixated with her social media on her phone. Does anybody at Vodafone work any more? Or are they incapable of listening to customers' qualms? Is this why so many people get frustrated with shop assistants because they have zero listening skills but are quick to mouth off inanities and irrelevancies? I should just be given a new modem for the old one and not be told it'll take up to two weeks. No questions asked for a loyal customer, which obviously means nothing to Vodafone. Well keep on flicking your social media on your phones. That's more important than earning a wage the right way.Related Articles

pretty bad since TPG merger
Coverage was average, no dropouts but generally pretty slow for my area (Sydney metro). Bought into a prepaid special intro offer that promised data rollover, bonus data and a discount for first 3 renewals - this was not honoured, charged me full rate on the first renewal & no data rollover. Staff picked up the error but only offered extras credit if I renewed at full price again. nah..

Finally moving on after 17 years..no longer competitive
We have been with Vodafone almost from the start, so coming up to 20 years (having been with Orange before that, remember them?) and in the main no issues to really worry about. Yes the speed was sometimes slow, yes there were occasional billing Issues and yes customer service was a little flat and impersonal but overall we were satisfied enough. Their mobile plans, unfortunately, though one of the cheapest around were not competitive when compared to prepaid, however, they always in the past tried to work something out to convince me to stay. ...
Read moreYesterday i only rang to discuss a phone upgrade for me and to leave my husbands plan as is. WELL, the sales pitch began...i currently use 5gb/mth and my husband uses less than 1gb and we share 15gb between the two phones very comfortably. The only plan they could offer was 100gb shared! And of course the price goes up almost double what i am currently paying, not including the phone!!! The guy got quite rude when i wouldn't commit straight away and ended the call very abruptly. My kids, who have been convincing me to go across to Kogan for a year now, showed me their prepaid plans and there is no comparison. I can see some customers complain about Kogan speeds and customer service, but my kids watch movies and stream all the time and they say there is hardly any issue at all... they say telco ‘plans’ are such an antiquated notion, no one under 30 is on anything but prepaid, and I can see why. I even bought the phone i wanted from Kogan through Afterpay (otherwise i would be held to ransom with Vodafone for the next 3 years on a plan). I just dont think its good enough anymore for a company to be so inflexible in 2021. Like with everything else, big Telcos and companies dont care about customer loyalty and as a customer i am finally cutting the umbilical cord with a lot of these guys. We left Optus after 20 years and couldn't be happier with Aussie Broadband, and now this... Goodbye Vodafone!Find out how Vodafone compares to other Mobile Phone Service Providers

Terrible mobile data
Had been with Telstra for a year and had had no problems switched to Vodafone and have had so many problems. The first problem was trying to transfer my number it didn't work. This was kind of the other providers problem but still. The coverage has been terrible compared to Telstra I'm in the middle of a town and there 1 bar. There was also a network outage for a few days. Not very happy with them will be switching back to Telstra.

After sales assistance? Not received
After two years, I decided to return to Vodafone as a telephone operator. I specify that with the previous provider (Kogan mobile) I had a great time, spending half. However, having purchased a smartwatch, Kogan does not offer the possibility of combining it with the phone to use it independently. So after some research, Vodafone was offering the best price between Optus and Telstra. As soon as the rechargeable plan was activated, the website and the app did not recognize my phone number. After three weeks of waiting and calling customer suppor...
Read moret every 48 hours (following their directions), the problem did not go away. In the three weeks of requesting assistance, no one from Vodafone Australia contacted me trying to find a solution. I, therefore, decided to activate Optus.VODAFONE phone with hotspot use
I use a Vodafone hotspot with my PC for internet (50 Gig plus 3 Gig to enable sharing with spouses phone etc). Used to be very good but last few months service has varied a lot from clear calls etc to NZ using apps and phone to frequent dropouts mid call. I have had two sim cards changed to check it and today I spent about 45 minutes using online chat to try and find out about what speed Im on plus why the service varies. No luck. Passed from one staffer to another and no answers. In store also not good and got clearer info from an Optus staffe...
Read morer (female) on trying to use WIFI hotpspot effectively. Phone service seems slower than before with lots of buffering to download short videos via Whatsapp etc. Won' t consider Telstra as they do not include international calls which is a necessity for me. A nusiance if they are the most reliable service.Find out how Vodafone compares to other Mobile Phone Service Providers

Always goes back to original price
In the area of Maylands very bad reception for Vodafone mobile and Vodafone wifi.
Another friend of mine has the same problem and he lives in the same area perth metro been like this for
along time.
Another problem that happen to me when using Vodafone sim that i did not like at all as when your contract is up with them normally 12 months it reverts back to the undiscounted price.
As i've used another mobile company and theirs stayed at the discounted price all the time i was with
them and did not revert back to the original price.

When signed plan, have to pay even I don't use it
Vodafone is treating customers with suspended service.
I signed contract for more than 12 months month-to-month contract and I called them to hold service for 1 month due to traveling. First call the guy said can only suspend since the starting of next bill the 1st Feb for my bill and have to do at least 1 month March, while I travel on 19 Jan and back 22 Feb. I ask is there other option? He said no. Until I raised my voice and say why I could do that before with another number service and now I have to pay for everything even I don't use it. T...
Unreasonably expensive
I found the same plan for less than one third of the Vodafone!!!
Really unhelpful store staff, just think about selling not helping.
Happy that leave my previous plan after three years.

What’s your experience of using Vodafone in Western Australia when travelling
I have no issues with Vodafone Aust, good customer service and my home internet is great been 3 months a couple issues were sorted out very quickly by friendly staff. **** 4 stars
I have been a customer of Vodafone for a few years with both my mobile phone & NBN because I was assured that they were adding towers themselves so as coverage would improve (which it did). Recently the reception on my mobile has now deteriorated markedly along with my NBN connection... After contacting Vodafone on many occasions with no result I am now looking at an alternative NBN connection and ditching Vodafone NBN .Unfortunately, I am still locked into a mobile deal for the next 18months but as soon as I can opt out I shall be doing so.. So disappointed that I have been lied to by Vodafone as I should probably report them to the authorities but that doesn't make the reception any better..
