Poor customer service
I am thinking to change my mobile service to Vodafone, however, spend over 5 mins on the phone with phone robot and can't speak with someone can help. Can't say disappointed, but would use other company, just in case in the future I need some help on the customer service.
Vodafone mobile internet VERY VERY slow - Port Macquarie NSW
I am holidaying in Port Macquarie NSW. Despite 4 calls to customer service i continue to get only 1 to 2 mb download speed for internet. Ive done all the things they suggested even drove down to the tower in town and VERY VERY slow internet continues. "Its all working ok" they continue to say. This is ridiculous ... 1-2mb ... on either 3G or 4G. Theyve given up trying to help.
Vodafone UI Login Changes
Vodafone has beeen Working Fine for me since 3 Years. and i expect they develop better technology with their endless Login Function via the Mobile/Web. There seem to be bug on the UI of the App. There wait time is around 20 mins or 30mins. Therefore. Vodafone wouldnt be the Mobile Carrier to Trust on. They have Indian Callers not Assuies
Rude technical support
Extremely rude technical support. I called up Vodafone for PIN reset and this extremely rude lady named 'Stella' (sounds like a pseudo name did not help and abruptly transferred me
Rude unhelpful and uninformed
Went into the Mitchelton Store, the older guy has works is abrupt, rude and had no interest in helping you. I tried to set up a business account with Vodafone. According to Vodaphone a Discretionary Trust with Corporate Trustee is not a business and they won’t give you an account. Old mate in the store could not say why, and really just wanted me to leave the store. He told me to call Vodafone, which I did. 30mins later after being transferred around no one could tell me why. Went back into the store begrudgingly to get the account in my name (...Vodafone was the best option for wifi calling in my area). The guy was so rude about porting the number over. I would have just left if we hadn’t already set most of it up. Absolutely terrible new customer experience. 10/10 Do not recommend!
Vodafone cant keep promises
So this post is about a ps5 order that never materialized! Long time (over 10 years) mostly happy customer here. Happy until I was duped into buying a ps5 from Vodafone by a well-trained salesperson who assured me I couldn't get it from anywhere else in time and I would definitely get it before the 15th (it was a birthday present so the timing was important). 15th turned to 20th, 20th turned 23rd. Each time I called ( called 4 times now) I was told there out of stock (whereas when I ordered I was told they have stock...strange how it changes wh...en trying to get me to give some more money). Last time I called I even escalated the matter to a manager who said my order was a priority and I would get it before the 23rd. Today's 23rd and after a disappointing call with Vodafone I was told...you guessed it...no stock, too bad you just have to wait! How can a so-called well-reputed multi-million dollar company not get its logistics right that they cant tell customers if they have stock or not? Or at the very least stop guaranteeing dates! There are mistakes and then there is outright lying, several times!. Mr Iñaki Berroeta are you aware or do you even care? Here I am still hoping good sense and customer service will prevail and trying to figure out what to do for the birthday.
Not very good for royal customer.
I am with Vodafone form 2007, nearly 15 years, a royal customer, even if my wife said there is better plan with another service provider, I always refuse to switch.
In July 2018, I joined $40 plan, 40G data for 12 months, after expiry, they didn't call me and provide a new plan, I supposed I will automatically roll into a new plan with 40G data but reduce speed after 40G.
Last month, there was issue with WIFI for a couple of days, and I was using mobile to watch movie online, I got an message for 85% data used up, I didn't read in ...detail and didn't paid much attention, then I got the bill for $120, $5 for per G data I used which after 40G. I called their customer service, they are willing to provide $40 discount on the condition that I signed another 12 months contract with them. I told customer service I am with them for 15 years, but they still refused to waive the extra $80, pointing that it was my mistake I didn't read the message in detail.
I would give Zero stars if I could
Customer service is appalling, the staff can't help with any issue you have keeping you on the phone for 40min every time only to tell you that you have to visit a store
I cannot even use up 15 GB of my 30 GB plan because of poor network, day or night, No service to even search online ley alone watching a video!! I gave up totally
Great customer service and plan prices
Vodafone has been great over the past few years I have been with them, I always receive fast and super friendly customer service when needed and always resolved very quickly. My plan is a very good rate and they do like to retain customers and reward loyalty, there’s some areas around sydney with basic reception and sometimes the network does go down for maintenance. I highly recommend vodafone if you’re mainly looking for an affordable plan. My partner is with Telstra so he can hotspot if we travel to areas with no service but Vodafone gives me the day to day use I need at such a great price.
Vodafone Fraud company
I am the victim, I was contacted (phone call) by Vodafone sales team and given discount on my existing plan which I accepted happily then call disconnected. Within 5 minutes same person (female) call me and told that as a loyal customer to Vodafone I have another offer. I eagerly asked for it and she offered a free iPad 11 pro. After hearing that I was shocked and eagerly asked “are you sure” and she replied yes. I told her I am not going to pay a cent and she replied yes it is free.
Then she proceeded with it and told me that the first email ...
After one year with Vodafone , I decided to change phone provider because if you sign one year deal with Vodafone, after few months they come with a better deal but that deal is not for you but only for a new customers.
So I decided to change phone provider and port my number.
I was stoned to see Vodafone charge me $8 dollars just to port my number! Never a phone company before did charge me any money to port the number. Is not for the $8 but for me is the act. Not only they surcharge if you pay with credit card but they also let you pay to tak...
So many wasted years and money
It was a great a idea at the time to choose Vodafone, when you're young and dumb... Decided to look into my phone plan because most of us are now WFH and who honestly, who wants to spend a fortune on phone bills? Moved over from Vodafone to Belong after 10 year+ and it was the best decision. Plan went from $36/$40 to $15 months with roll over data (3GB and unlimited calls and texts to standard national numbers). Leaving Vodafone will cost you a small fee of $8.00 - this is called a port out fee. Royalty does not mean crap to them so you will have to pay this regardless of how much money or time you have been with them. Customer service online chat was actually pretty helpful in my experience so no negative here.
Joke of a company
After years and years with my current telco, I decided to move over to Vodafone and take advantage of the lower prices. I received my SIM card and called Vodafone to arrange the transfer of my current number to my new plan. After speaking to the 1st operator, I was told there was an issue with the transfer and the account number I had provided for my other telco was incorrect (it wasn't). A 2nd operator told me that they would contact my current telco and get back to me with an update (they didn't). After 2 weeks go by, I called Vodafone, and o...perator #3 tells me all of the same things I've already been told and that I will have to arrange a call with my telco to discuss the situation (meanwhile, my SIM card hasn't left the envelope that it was delivered in and I'm being charged by Vodafone for the privilege). Instead, I ask to cancel the plan, I simply don't have time for this right now. It's a little busy in my industry as a medical researcher. I get told that operator #3 can't do this and I must be transferred to a 4th person (on hold we go again). At the end of the process, I'm informed that my last bill will be arriving shortly....for the service I never used. We initially considered moving our entire household to Vodafone NBN / mobile service - I am SOOO glad we didn't. I think a 1-star review is pretty fair all things considered.
Irresponsible support service
Poor network coverage, frequent disconnections, lack of response when calling customer service. My monthly bills has increased without explaining the reason for this change. I have been with this provider for longer than 15 years and have to consider change now.
Questions & Answers
I have been charged $148 this month as part of my bill. The $148 is itemised as ‘pricing plan’ . What is that?
TXT confirmation to another mobile what does this question mean when I am topping up my phone
