Not bad so far
I've been with these guys now for 3 months. Signed up to a contract with these guys to get the discount (ps5, pre paid sim plan) and nbn. Honestly first month internet was horrible. Now internet works fine download speeds are good. Haven't had drop outs at all. Tech support 3/10.
5g with vodafone is awesome and it performs better then 4G
Very reliable connection
No drop out
Ive got 468.98mbps download and 66.9mbps upload on 5G
Ive got 44.5mbps download and 14.5mbps upload with 4G
Not a bad network over all and im impressed

Excellent value mobile plan: 12 months for $150 (from OfficeWorks)
Was on a Telstra $55 a month post-paid for long time. 40GB data and unlimited calls, and according to Telstra the “best option for me”, and also the cheapest option they have available at the moment.
Because I use mostly WiFi, I average about 5GB mobile data a month and I always felt was paying too much but was too lazy to do anything about it. My main concern with switching to a smaller data plan was that “what if I go over” when on holidays or travelling. Sometimes I use 20~30GB a month during summer. And Telstra had no smaller plan availabl...
Read moree. I did ask them about switching to a pre-paid SIM but it was all too hard and the offers weren’t that cheap either. Eventually decided to shop around and ended getting Vodafone 200GB pre-paid SIM with 12 months expiry for $150. Normally $200 but OfficeWorks was selling it for $150 as promo. For me it’s the best of both worlds. At average usage of 5GB a month it should last me the full 12 months. And if I end up binging on holidays there’s no risk going over my monthly allowance. Activation was smooth and took about 1/2h to switch. So from $660 a year I’m now paying $150 a year for my mobile without having to worry about paying monthly bills or getting hit with fees. Vodafone coverage is probably not as comprehensive as Telstra but where I typically need data it has been more than adequate and at least par with Telstra. In fact when commuting from & to work I was getting average 20 Mbps with Telstra and I’m now getting up to 170 MpbsFind out how Vodafone compares to other Mobile Phone Service Providers

Reasonably priced plans with attractive inclusions, but network quality lets it down
Vodafone has always been competitive in their plans and that's what attracted me to signing up in the first instance. I thought that being in metropolitan Melbourne would be okay in terms of network coverage. Unfortunately, I seem to be experiencing network quality issues even in metro areas. Network may be congested random times of day resulting in "Call Failed" error messages, and signal strength is also spotty. I had to leave because I value network quality as it is starting to get frustrating.

Lots of data
I have a pre paid sim only plan. I have automatic recharge so I get extra data every month. I like the feature that you don't loose internet if you run out of data it just goes slower, not that I ever would as I have 200gb in my data bank.

Finally moving on after 17 years..no longer competitive
We have been with Vodafone almost from the start, so coming up to 20 years (having been with Orange before that, remember them?) and in the main no issues to really worry about. Yes the speed was sometimes slow, yes there were occasional billing Issues and yes customer service was a little flat and impersonal but overall we were satisfied enough. Their mobile plans, unfortunately, though one of the cheapest around were not competitive when compared to prepaid, however, they always in the past tried to work something out to convince me to stay. ...
Read moreYesterday i only rang to discuss a phone upgrade for me and to leave my husbands plan as is. WELL, the sales pitch began...i currently use 5gb/mth and my husband uses less than 1gb and we share 15gb between the two phones very comfortably. The only plan they could offer was 100gb shared! And of course the price goes up almost double what i am currently paying, not including the phone!!! The guy got quite rude when i wouldn't commit straight away and ended the call very abruptly. My kids, who have been convincing me to go across to Kogan for a year now, showed me their prepaid plans and there is no comparison. I can see some customers complain about Kogan speeds and customer service, but my kids watch movies and stream all the time and they say there is hardly any issue at all... they say telco ‘plans’ are such an antiquated notion, no one under 30 is on anything but prepaid, and I can see why. I even bought the phone i wanted from Kogan through Afterpay (otherwise i would be held to ransom with Vodafone for the next 3 years on a plan). I just dont think its good enough anymore for a company to be so inflexible in 2021. Like with everything else, big Telcos and companies dont care about customer loyalty and as a customer i am finally cutting the umbilical cord with a lot of these guys. We left Optus after 20 years and couldn't be happier with Aussie Broadband, and now this... Goodbye Vodafone!VODAFONE phone with hotspot use
I use a Vodafone hotspot with my PC for internet (50 Gig plus 3 Gig to enable sharing with spouses phone etc). Used to be very good but last few months service has varied a lot from clear calls etc to NZ using apps and phone to frequent dropouts mid call. I have had two sim cards changed to check it and today I spent about 45 minutes using online chat to try and find out about what speed Im on plus why the service varies. No luck. Passed from one staffer to another and no answers. In store also not good and got clearer info from an Optus staffe...
Read morer (female) on trying to use WIFI hotpspot effectively. Phone service seems slower than before with lots of buffering to download short videos via Whatsapp etc. Won' t consider Telstra as they do not include international calls which is a necessity for me. A nusiance if they are the most reliable service.Find out how Vodafone compares to other Mobile Phone Service Providers

Always goes back to original price
In the area of Maylands very bad reception for Vodafone mobile and Vodafone wifi.
Another friend of mine has the same problem and he lives in the same area perth metro been like this for
along time.
Another problem that happen to me when using Vodafone sim that i did not like at all as when your contract is up with them normally 12 months it reverts back to the undiscounted price.
As i've used another mobile company and theirs stayed at the discounted price all the time i was with
them and did not revert back to the original price.
Another reas...

Nice customer service and good products
Customer service are always helpful and friendly with any issues. Coverage in rural areas isnt amazing but its good otherwise. Prepaid recharges are decent value and plans are also pretty good.

Vodafone uses Aus Post Records to verify addresses...Aus post records can by wrong!!
Hi
No problem with Vodafone service ...hate the merry go round of departments ..but i think thats same all round.
Today I had an interesting incident and want to share
I have been at my current physical address for 10 years
I took our a prepaid SIM with Vodafone a few years agoafter approx 2016
Jumped thru all the hoops ets regarading verification, addy etc etc.4YEARS ago
Today I got an SMS from Vodafone ...
Read more"We've suspended your service as we havent been able to confirm your address details. Please call us on 155 ...etc etc. HOw absolutely charming ( A nicer note of "Please update your details otherwise we will have to suspend your service.... Bottom Line" Aussie post delivers very little to me ...I have a PO Box for all my parcels cos unless its from Kogan, Internnode one of the big accounts OR a Passport ....they just dont deliver stuff to the home addy. Vodafone uses Aussie Pose to verify physical addresses. I gave Vodafone my physical address Ausie Post said they didnt recognise it....... Frightening eh? Major source of verification doesnt have correct records. Ayway I got Vodafone to put BOTH my addresses on record. No chance of talking to Corporate or someone who really cares about the long term outcomes of such glitches. Interestingly I cannot put anything on Aus Post website OR even on one of the FBchat rooms ....but will put it on here too . Hope this perhaps gives you an idea of how the verification process could have gone wrong for you. Good Luck.- 4 reviews
Good first time option
Arriving from another country, the first thing you would look for is a reliable mobile network. Good thing they are the first you see in the exit of the arrivals, and yeah they will register you and all so no hassle. I just find that they are some areas where signal is limited. But overall great job!

What’s your experience of using Vodafone in Western Australia when travelling
I have no issues with Vodafone Aust, good customer service and my home internet is great been 3 months a couple issues were sorted out very quickly by friendly staff. **** 4 stars
I have been a customer of Vodafone for a few years with both my mobile phone & NBN because I was assured that they were adding towers themselves so as coverage would improve (which it did). Recently the reception on my mobile has now deteriorated markedly along with my NBN connection... After contacting Vodafone on many occasions with no result I am now looking at an alternative NBN connection and ditching Vodafone NBN .Unfortunately, I am still locked into a mobile deal for the next 18months but as soon as I can opt out I shall be doing so.. So disappointed that I have been lied to by Vodafone as I should probably report them to the authorities but that doesn't make the reception any better..
