Awful experience
Sounded oh so perfect to begin with. But after sizable under estimates of trade costs, inaccurate designs and a general, 'we got ya money' attitude, this will go down as one of the worst financial decisions of my life. Trades do not "not leave any mess". Every pipe leaked under the new sink. The cabinet guy, after we decided on what handles to use, still butchered the unrequired ones so that we couldn't return them. The customer support officer served no purpose except to ruin the original design. He had absolutely no interest in us as customers.

Process started well, once contract was singed it was all downhill from there
Everyone was very helpful and attentive in the beginning, until I signed the contract. Scheduling was less than ideal, I had my kitchen delivered on Thursday and stacked on my living room, took up half my house for 4 days. Rip out was on Friday which covered everything in dust, and meant no kitchen until final trades were finished on Tuesday. Install happened on Monday. Wrong handles were sent, 3 weeks after install I still do not have handles. They were more than happy to bill me before the work was completed satisfactorily. I wanted to use...Read more
a large company so I would not have to deal with scheduling and follow-up, and it turned out to be more hassle than it was worth. Made to feel like I was a bother for following up where my handles were when they were not delivered 3 weeks after install was mean to be completed. I was not satisfied with the overall process. The trades individually were fine and the work was good quality, although the prices were on the high side. Quality of the product was average for the price.Similar opinion? Terrible customer service.
Went with Wallspan for our wardrobes, over other, cheaper brands, wanting a good quality product. After about 6 months a crack appeared on one of the wooden panels and organised for someone to come out to fix it. A contractor called and booked in a time to come and fix it. He didn't show. We tried to book it in a few more times with each time being cancelled. I went into their shop at Gepps Cross, where we organised the wardrobes, but they couldn't really do anything. I emailed their customer service department demanding for someone to get back...Read more
to me as I wanted to make a complaint and get my wardrobes fixed as we were putting our house on the market. They didn't reply. We eventually got back in contact with the contractor and got the panel fixed, however it took 5 months from when we first requested it. Customer service was horrendous. I would never get anything from then again!Similar opinion? Write a review on ProductReview.com.au!

Kitchen is beautiful BUT...
We have a beautiful kitchen but quite honestly we were given such a run around and given a hard time by benchtop installers, overcharged for the electrician work, completely messed up plumbing work and it was overall a bad experience.

Disappointing
After a visit to the Anzac Hwy showroom, the offer of a FREE no obligation in house quote with the local "designer" made perfect sense.
The "designer" arrived on-time and was very friendly and open to ideas we had in mind for how we saw our kitchen being designed and installed.
After 3 hours spent in our home, the "designer" that was only able to enter the basic measurements into a CAD system and produce some figures on what was originally a pricing exercise to determine affordability. During the entire exercise very little "design" advice...Read more
was provided/offered, and our vision was merely converted to a price. We were expecting more "design" input, advice and more detail on the benefits and challenges of colours, products and respective pricing. Upon arriving at a price (nearly $10k over the showroom estimate) we were asked if we were happy with the quote and how we would be paying the deposit. After explaining we would need to give genuine consideration to such a large commitment and would look over the quote within 24-48 hours, the designer packed up his bag and exited quicker than a speeding bullet train without a plan in place to follow up....not even a handshake or goodbye. We were not privy to the written quote, nor shown the figures offered onsite, nor able to read the terms and conditions of the contract. (not standard practice) It was evident that the role of the "designer" was to simply provide the format for fitting the standard modules into our working space, the rest was all sales pitch. A "voucher" of 25% was also on offer for the applicable week, and without this the price would increase to an outrageous amount, and therefore something we may miss in delaying a decision to proceed. The "design" part was extremely limited, and barely touched in the whole process (albeit the most crucial part), something we feel is the MOST important part, not the afterthought. The service until that point was relatively as expected, BUT when the "designer" was annoyed he could not close the deal on the spot (although obligation free), he lost complete interest and exited the building hastly. Upon asking for the quote numerous times, Wallspan finally produced the written quote disclosing the pricing and materials in brief.Similar opinion? Write a review on ProductReview.com.au!

Wouldn't Recommend
The salespeople were polite and cheery but not particularly knowledgable about anything to do with the actual make or install of the wardrobe. When asking questions about this we were just told the install guy would work it out. We did a few designs instore and had changed a few things as recommended by salesperson as doors would get in the way etc. The actual process of getting the final measure/payments done and install date booked was easy. Install guy was polite and on time.
Huge problem came at end of install when 2nd of three doors we...Read more
re put on and the drawers wouldn't open past the doors! I heard install guy on phone to warehouse trying to sort it out but nothing could be done the design was simply wrong and this couldn't be fixed without half gutting the wardrobe changing the design and coming back another day to fix it. To me this seems like a very big failure on many fronts surely somewhere along the way between salesperson/warehouse/install they would look at the design and see a problem. We thought by going through a reputable company rather than an Ikea we would avoid these types of problems. An admin person at Wallspan rang within a few hours to let me know that they would send me the difference of price between the new and old wardrobe design costing (no extra though) this was sorted out about a month later. The end result is a wardrobe that I'm not that satisfied with I feel as though if I could design it knowing about the smaller drawers from the beginning I would do it differently. We have the platinum range installed and the actual quality of the work looks good, so do the white frosted glass doors. Final product looks good Inexperienced sales people, bad internal controls.Similar opinion? Write a review on ProductReview.com.au!

I have been having trouble contacting you as your system keeps letting me down
I would imagine that no one would make up all of these problems that we had so I can guarantee, this is not a fake review

Hi was looking to get an in house quote done on my kitchen.or do we come to you with our plans/measurements.please either ring me on [number removed] or email me . Margaret

Hi Margaret, I'm just a customer of Wallspan. I suggest you give them a call. We went in to the showroom first (on the weekend) to get a general idea of what we wanted, then they came out for a measure and to design everything on their computer (one evening after hours). It was all pretty painless :)
