To the point/ Informative
I have had my VE SS Commodore for sale on Carsales for over a month and got pretty tired of 'tyre kickers' and scammers claiming they are oil rigs wanting PayPal accounts, so I thought give webuyanycar.com.au a go and see what sought of money they can offer. I found the staff very professional and didn’t waste my time with the usual car sales tactics. Unfortunately they we unable to get to the price I was hoping for but I certainly have a better understanding of what my car is really worth in the market. If my car isn’t sold in the private market in the very near future I will definitely revisiting webuyanycar.com.au
Informative, good customer service, professional
Didn't match the price I was hoping for

ring the customer payments section and have it sorted
Sold my car up in Brisbane on 11/6/2012 and after 10 days hadn’t recieved the money. Rang and got put through to their payment team. Spoke with Cass, she was very appologetic and payment was organized for the following day. They said that they were inundated with paperwork and were sorry and the funds appeared the following day. Be persistant and get onto the customer payments section!
Buyer i delt with was professional and everyone friendly
payment over terms stated
Not a bad experience
Sold my hilux to the gold coast branch little over two weeks ago, I called them on Tuesday and the payment was scheduled for Wednesday. Funds just dropped into my account this morning. Was getting really worried after reading some of the reviews on here but got the money so happy on the whole - not a bad experience for me..
Easy transaction
Pleased overall
I recently sold my car to these guys at their Gold Coast place, it had been up for sale for a while and I really wanted to get rid of it. I was aware of We buy any car but knew I would get more if I sold it privately, but as it was taking so long to sell I decided to take it to them.
I read all the reviews here and got a bit skeptical about them as so many people had said they felt ripped off, but after reading the newer reviews it look like they are getting better, and I wanted to find out for myself.
When I got there I was met by [name ...
Read moreremoved] who told me about the process and how it worked, I grilled him pretty good about the reviews I'd read and I could see that he was embarrassed about what happened in the past, and he said that all the old problems had been fixed and I would get my money on time. He was professional about it all and really new his stuff so after negotiating a price I sold it to them. The price I got wasn't far off what I had it up for privately, so although I lost out a bit at least the car is gone. I got the my money on time, so over all I'm pleased I went there. I would recommend it to people if they need to sell without the hassle of selling it privately. Professional, friendly and pretty quick too.Find out how WeBuyAnyCar.com.au compares to other Vehicle Accessories & Parts Shops

I’m a happy customer
I was wondering about selling my car to these guys for a while, especially after reading some of the comments on here but as there are some good ones so I went and I have to say I was pleased with what happened overall.
I know a bit about cars anyway, and had done some work on my Toyota before it took it so I knew it was mechanically sound and was prepared for any bull that they might try to pull, like most car sales places do. They had a good look round it and even commented on the work by saying that not much needed to be done to sell it ...
Read moreon which surprised me. Getting the right price meant a bit of negotiating but I am happy with what I got for it in the end. I said I was going to post a review about we buy any car, so maybe that had some affect. I’ve just got my money, and it was on time. So I’m posting a good review. Good on you guys, I’m a happy customer, so I give them 4 stars.Descent and Professional
I recently sold my car to the we buy any car the sunshine coast branch, and I want to say that I think they have had a bad rap from a lot of people on here, especially from some of the reviews that where posted earlier on this year.
I needed to sell as me and my family are moving to the UK, where I've got a new job, so I needed to sell it quicker than I would if I sold it on my own and we buy any car where a great option. I did what most people do and got a quote for my car on their website, and got a call back from them a little while afte...
Read morer to arrange to take the car down. When I got there I was greeted by this guy, who told me how the system works and that I wasn’t under any obligation, so I felt good about taking it to them. They took their time doing an appraisal of my car and then quoted a price that was less than the online price. I didn’t like it very much so he went back to speak to the manager about it, he came out a few minutes later with a better one, which I thought was a bit strange so I asked him how he could now offer this new one, and he said that some cars are easier to sell on than other, and as I was selling a family car they could move it on more quickly. I accepted their offer and asked when I would get my money and he said within a couple of weeks maybe sooner. I got my money 10 days later so they kept their end of the bargain. It looks like there have been a lot of improvements from when other people have sold their cars to them. All I would say to everyone is don’t feel obligated to take their first price, they might be able to do better, and from what he said if you’re selling a standard car to them chances are you’ll get a better price for it. No pressure, good experience could get more money selling privatelyGreat Service. Very Happy
After reading previous reveiws I was sceptical about trusting these guys but after having my car on carsales for awhile and being stuffed around I just wanted to get rid of it.
So I took my car in to see for myself what the big fuss was about, I was greeted by friendly staff and told about the process and that I wasnt obligated to sell my car if I wasnt happy with the price.
He came back with a few prices and after negotiation we came to a reasonable price that I was happy to finally sell my car at. I told the manager about previous revie...
Read morews and how I was abit reluctant to sign my car over as previous customers arent receiving payments. He assured me the payment issue was fixed and that I would receive my money on time. So I waited for the money and surely enough my money was in there on the 11th working day. Overall I was happy with the service and the convenience of it all. :) Convenient and Nice PeopleHappily bought my car when the dealers messed me around!
Not sure about the other comments here as we had a great experience with we buy any car. Sold our 2009 toyota corolla for $300 more than the dealers were offering, and we buy any car bought it on the spot after about 20 minutes in their Springwood dealership.
The staff knew their cars and were really friendly, sat us down and gave us a cup of coffee..
We got our payment in 4 days which is less than the 5 they said it could take so pretty stoked
simple, easy, good money and quick turn around
nothing in our experience
Easy
My car was a little beat up and I was having no luck selling it privately. Didn't want to spend more money to fix it up either. Took it in to we buy any car at springwood and they bought it. It was a little less than I had hoped but needed it gone. Got the cheque about 12 days later. Staff were friendly, even dropped me home.
Easy & quick

Cant fault they did what they said.
I read the reviews before i went down so i asked a lot of questions to the sales guy when i got there and i have to say he was very helpful to my husband and i.
We went to the Brisbane branch in Springwood and dealt with a guy called Jamie i told him we had an appointment and he gave us a run down on the company.
He said they had referred there payment terms as there was a new government system for checking the cars called PPSR which had held them up as cars were not coming up on there, he said this was not there fault and that how could th...
Read moreey pay for a car which was not showing on a government website. I new nothing of this but told him i wanted this in writing which he produced for us straight away with out any fuss at all. They price was agreed on and we left our car with them along with the paperwork, i have to say at this point i was a bit worried but as promised we were paid into our account on time with no problems at all. My husband and i then went and brought our new Mazda 3 and got a great deal as we had no trade in.All in all a good experience. Simple and effective. No problems
Can't speak for others but I found the WBAC service in Sydney good. Agreed sale, headache free. Little less than I had want but still better than any other dealer. Dropped car off a week later when my new car was ready to pick up and paid 5 days after dropping off my vehicle.

So who owns the cars that We Buy Any Cars have sold if they have not paid the previous owner?
From what I've heard from others a lot of the cars have already been sold to other people even though somehow they're still registered to the previous owners who've copped fines and such by the new dr...
Read moreivers/owners. I was told my car would most likely be shipped interstate (outback) to be used as a hire car for tourists in the outback as it wasn't in good condition. The only smart thing I did was go down same day and cancel my Rego and hand my plates in so I could get a refund, otherwise god only knows what fines and such would be in my name. Unfortunately so many others weren't so lucky. Because their car has somehow been onsold even though its still registered in their names they've lost their car, money and are still making loan repayments and now fines. If they took the car and haven't paid, then they haven't completed their part of the contract - ring and ask for your car back.
If they don't produce the car call the police and report the car stolen.
Just done that, good advice
Ring manhiem to see if car is there if it is tell them the car has not been paid for they will put a hold on it as you can use your claim of right to get the car back that is from the police
