Hi, I have a Q200 (bought in 2013). I would like to get a trolley / cart for it. I'm wondering if these would fit the Q200?

https://www.weber.com/AU/en/accessories/merchandise-and-more/carts/weber-q-patio-cart/6524.html
The website says it fits the Q2000 and Q1000 only but as far as I've heard, the Q200 and the Q2000 are very similar units

We have our BBQ sitting in the big trolley which has only wheels on one side and moving it to another position is such an horrible, uncomfortable task. Is there no trolley that has two sets of wheels?

Weber Barbecues A.Weber
Hi Frank, sorry we don't have a cart in our range that has two sets of wheels.

Hi there :)
Will the Q2000 cover stand fit the Q stand (https://www.takealot.com/weber-q-stand-black/PLID51791743/product-information)? Note too that the product is a Q200 - will this work with the stand and the cover?
Thanks a mill

Hi I have a Weber Q 2440 electric barbecue. I ought and added the side table flaps as it didn’t come with these . The flaps do not fold under the lid when not in use, although I was lead to believe that this is the case. Why is this ?
1 answer
Weber Barbecues A.Weber
Hi Peter, we don't sell that model here in Australia so we're not all that familiar with it but typically side tables will need to be flipped inside the barbecue, then the lid closed on top as they should fit underneath the side vents.
Lisasked
Can the accessories for the Weber Q2000 also be used with the Weber Q200 ?? For example, the stand/trolley and cover.
1 answer
Weber Barbecues A.Weber
Hi Lis, that depends. There have been updates to all ranges over the years so it's hard to talk generally.
If you give us the product you've got, and the specific accessories you want to use, we can tell you whether they'll work together :)
Purcyasked
Hi, my Q 220 has a serial number of AU0217434. How do I find out the year of manufacture?
3 answers
Weber Barbecues A.Weber
Hi Purcy, an AU code Q was manufactured in 2012. Let us know if you've got any more questions.
Hi thanks for that. I thought that code only related to kettles, though. Or is that just a coincidence?
Weber Barbecues A.Weber
Hi Purcy, we have a few different codes to determine years depending on the barbecue, but in this case, it's the same as a Kettle AU, 2012.

I bought a half grill (part 7654) and half plate (part 6559) for my Weber q 200. Using these in combination they both rock on their mounts and are unstable. They don't touch in the middle. Is there a way to fix this?
2 answers
Weber Barbecues A.Weber
Hi Mark- you should have received a small set of grill clips that will help support the hotplate and grill in your older model Q- if you didn't receive these, send us an email at social@weberbbq.com.au with your address and we'll send you out a set
Perfect I'll do that cheers

How old are Weber Q 200s
2 answers
Each Webber q has a serial number. You can then ring their service department quote the serial number and they will tell you how old your unit is. For my knowledge they have been making them for 4-5 years now but I'm no expert could be longer so best give them a call
Weber Barbecues A.Weber
Hi Christine, the Q range was brought to Australian in 2003, so it could be as old as that. Your serial number will tell us the exact age of the Q you have- just send us the two letters at the beginning of the serial. Cheers!
Megan G.asked
Cart options for a Weber q 200 please??
1 answer
Weber Barbecues A.Weber
Hi Megan, as that is an older model, you are limited. If you head to your nearest Specialist Dealer (or alternatively, call our head office on 1300 301 290) and enquire about a Stationary Cart (part 8460) - this part is our older cart and if there is stock left, it will fit your Q.
Hope that helps. Thanks

Have had a weber baby q now for 3 months. Purchased a half hot plate with it. The porcelain coating is starting to scrap away. Is this normal?
3 answers
I can't imagine so: call their Service Department on 1300301 290 and they'll answer you direct. Brilliant people to deal with! The slightest fault and they'll be on to it for you.
shouldn’t be, i’m told they’re pure cast iron.
Weber Barbecues A.Weber
Hi Carsten, it depends on what you mean by coating; sometimes it can just be a carbon build up on the surface that is peeling away, and is not actually the coating. Please send us some pics through our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/weberBBQAusNz/, or you can call us on 1300 301 290. Thanks!
Wayneasked
Can I put a temperature gauge on weber Q 200.And how do i do it?
4 answers
Yes you can probably get one that sits inside.
Hi Wayne,
I saw a youtube video before regarding this one. You might be interested. Not sure how well it works though.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qdNz6f2Cb9A
Weber Barbecues A.Weber
Hi Wayne. The Q200 did not come with a thermometer in the lid; only the 220 and current 2200's do. You don't necessarily need a thermometer in the lid, as all the recipes that we provide are written based on setting, rather than temperature.
You can't really attach one without drilling a hole in the lid, which could break it, void warranty and not make your barbecue work as efficiently.
You could look into other thermometer options, like our iGrill range, Instant Read Thermometer or Snapcheck thermometer. You can find all the accessories here: https://www.weberbbq.com.au/weber-accessories/
Edwardasked
Hi
I have got Q200 and the black rubber cone at the end of the regulator / hose has gone missing. How do i get the replacement cone?
Thanks
1 answer
Weber Barbecues A.Weber
Hi Edward, thanks for getting in touch. It sounds like yourr rubber 'o' ring has gone missing, and it's a vital part of your barbecue's gas system.
Without it, you could have a gas leak and create a potentially dangerous situation.
Can you please call us on 1300 301 290 with your barbecue's serial number as we will have to organise a replacement hose/regulator system for you; the little 'o' ring on the end cannot be replaced on it's own, so the entire connection will have to be replaced.
Thanks
Mattasked
I can’t keep my Webber q2200 under 200 degrees even on the lowest setting
Anyone got any advice?
1 answer
Weber Barbecues A.Weber
Hi Matt, thanks for getting in touch. Can I ask what you're trying to cook?
After 10 minutes on low, I would expect the Q to be around 155°C (311°F), but that will increase slightly over the cook.
