No customer service not a good quality product
My BBQ is barely cooking a sausage at this point which is ridiculous for a barbecue. I have had to contact Weber about my BBQ several times because I have been having issues for years. I received a new ignition switch which did not rectify the problem and I was expected to install it. I did not get in touch with them again fast enough so now whatever the issue is it not covered under warranty even know it was report during the warranty period. Weber advised they would have replaced it if I called earlier which is crazy as it would cost the com...pany the same now or then. Plus if the issue is reported during the warranty permit is covered under the law. A product is only as good as the service that it is backed up by and Weber does not want to provide it’s customers service. On top of that if you want a flat plate you have to buy a 2 piece grill and then a flat plate at cost of over $200! So you then end up with 2 grills just so you can have a half flat plate. How crazy is that, support you customers Weber and provide a pack of a flat and grill!!! The cart that brought with the BBQ really unstable and not worth it at all. You would be better to put it on a table. I’m so disappointed with this BBQ for the price and even more disappointed with the service!!

Can’t even build the thing
Would love to use the BBQ but have given up in the construction phase. Unless you have a master builders license, forget about it. Box has been good for the kids though

Worst bbq I've ever owned MADE OF PLASTIC.
Bought it as it has a ridiculous hype and following so thought it must be good... I really can't understand the hype, it was hopeless at cooking steak, after way too long to heat up once steak hit the grill it cooled down and stewed the steak and yes had the lid down, OK so tried chicken, same thing took way longer than all other bbqs, so realised the only thing this is good for is low heat cooking like roasts, so tried a lamb roast, lamb dripped into tray cause flare ups and then a small fire which I put out and removed meat turned it off, ate...dinner and then when cleaning later noticed it was lopsided!! The thing had melted the frame WTH! WHO MAKES A BBQ OUT OF PLASTIC. the only insulation from the frame is a small washer. I followed all the nonsense videos on you tube about cooking. I took it back to shop where I bought it and guy says never seen that happen, (quick Google search says its common) Shop dragged it out for months getting new parts, as soon as they arrived, the price of crap was on the net for sale, never will I own one again. Oh and the other thing sunbeam innova and gasmate odyssey 2 bbqs have is control over both sides whereas this bbq has one control for the whole thing which is also a Pita as you have to use one heat setting for all that's being cooked.

Was a great bbq
Have had this bbq for a few years now. Loved it early days and used it 3-4 times a week. Lately it seems to have lost a bit of heat while cooking, originally thought it was the gas bottle but unfortunately wasn’t.
Doesn’t cook anywhere near as good as it used to. Disappointed because I loved my weber q when it was working perfectly

Perfect for apartment balconies
Reliable and easy. It looks small, but it's large enough to cook for guests (you can do an entire chicken on it, or a mix of smaller meats and vegetables). The perfect size for an apartment balcony. It seems to be efficient on gas, it's held up well over the years (no sign of rust or other damage from the weather) and still works like new. Definitely would recommend it!

Sorry not sorry.
Wife bought me this wonderful unit for my birthday, a a self confessed foodie with an original Webber it seemed like the perfect choice, albeit expensive. Unfortunately it was a complete disappointment. It doesn’t cook without the lid open, and cooks too hot with the lid closed. I have batteled to control the heat.
I can’t cook steak because it doesn’t go hot enough with the lid open, but I can’t cook slow cook pull apart lamb because the with the lid down I can get to cook cool enough.
I have since bought my brother, my father and myself a ...

Best BBQ ever!!!
I tried my first weber in a friend's house. That time I made steak and everyone loved it so much. I then recreated the same steak with same cut and marination but it didn't have the same taste. After a few times I realised that the one that makes the difference is the BBQ. So I got a weber at home, since then I never use any other BBQ. I love it so much, even during a gathering some people could feel the difference between chicken and suasages that came from weber and another similar looking BBQ but not Weber. I do admit that it is not easy to ...clean (heavy and sticky with oil, but it is of good quality hence it is heavy) and because the cover/shell doesn't cover the entire BBQ bowl, it is not easy to put it outside as cockroaches can go inside the bowl. I have not try the BBQ cover because I don't think it will solve the problem. But doesn't mean other BBQ don't have the same problem. Other BBQ can be hard to wash and maintain as well.

Weber BBQ garbage for partys
Webers simply cannot work
When exposed to windy days & destroys party plans - throwing out after ruining Christmas BBQ
Not heating up enough to cook sausages - so over rated ! Ok for 2-4 people in perfect weather environment but thats not always the case / forget it if you are entertaining at the price you pay !!!!
Purchased in March 2013 for $750.00.
Used to love it, not now
I bought this three years ago as an investment BBQ in red for my husband. Its been used carefully but despite this, the paint has started falling off. I would expect a reputable brand such as Weber to stand normal use. Disappointed to say the least. Would not recommend Weber again.

As a 2018 ProductReview Award winner, the Weber Q has been recognised for being a high-quality BBQ series. The Weber Q Series isn’t the current Weber Q Range leader, with the Weber Family Q Series surpassing it in awards, but the series is still a worthwhile investment.
- Burner tubes are made of stainless steel to prevent rusting
- Features a cast aluminium lid and body, push button ignition, and cast iron cooking grills
- Folding side tables: unfold them to prepare meals, then close them back up when you require more space
- The Weber Q Series is middle of the range, as it’s cheaper than the Weber Family Q Series but more expensive than the Weber Baby Q Series
- Available in red, black and cream
Points of praise for the Weber Q Series:
- The company was cooperative with sending replacement parts when needed - often at no cost
- The Weber Q Series is not as compact as the Weber Baby Q Series; however reviewers had no issues when taking a BBQ from the Weber Q Series to the beach or on holidays
- A wide variety of accessories such as a tool set, half hotplate and grill brush are available to be purchased separately, which allow for variety and creativity in meals
- Overall, reviewers were pleased with their Weber Q Series BBQ and have found that these BBQs can withstand the test of time.
