BEST DISHWASHER EVER!! – What can I say. Robust reliable and a terrificly large layout and capacity. We don’t rinse anything. wash with powder and rinse aid and run it in heavy dull to the brim, and everything comes out spotless! Saturday it decided to die after I think 13-14 years dedicated service a load a day minimum, so I did some research about troubleshooting and… Read more
found a recall. Called Electrolux today and they are coming out Monday to fix. After sales service to date is also spot on!! Here’s hoping it’s fixed Monday. Best dishwasher we have ever had and come to think of it probably will ever have!!
Brilliant, thanks Westinghouse! – Great dishwasher. No problems at all, would recommend. Dishes come out very clean and dry. No need for serious pre-rinsing, as with many dishwashers. Trays roll out easily and stacks well. Even the kids can do the job without any problems! White looks sharp in any kitchen. Westinghouse a good brand.
Works well if you treat it well – Not overly impressed with the westinghouse dishwasher - broken rollers after a year!!! Stiff drawers, need to be pulled out gently, or you end up with broken glasses. Powder door gets stuck if you accidently overfil - what! Come-on Westinghouse you can do better than that - look at the Miele for inspiration... Seems to clean everything well… Read more
and is reasonably quiet, but not as quiet as the Miele I have now. My advice clean the bottom food trays regularly and use CLR. It needs a better cutlery basket that doesn't let things slip through. Good price. Works and cleans well, easy to use and is reasonably quiet for the price. Poor durability of parts and needs smother runners and better bottom cuttlery basket
Excellent! no issues what so ever – I didn't have any issues what so ever. Would recomend this dishwasher to anyone, great product and quility to high standards. Very quite operation , dries them out and does that it is programmed to do. I got nothing much to say , good product thats all reliable, quite operation, good looking
Rotten! – I will never buy a Westinghouse dishwasher again. Less than 4 years old and broken down three times so far and still not fixed. Faulty power board again??? Lucky I had an extended warranty on it. It doesn't stack properly, chips glasses, doesn't dry properly or heat up very well. Very disappointed! Doesn't dry properly, stacks poorly, breaks down often, rotten product.
Bad – Although we haven't had any major problems with this dishwasher, the design of it hasn't impressed me. It needs a much better system of connecting it to the wall to stop it tipping forward. The front of it scratched pretty easily as well and it doesn't look fantastic. Also if you put forks upside down in the cutlery basket the whole bottom… Read more
spinner won't spin. It does clean well, hasn't had any mechanical problems in over 2 years of use. Wasn't on the expensive end of dishwashers. Tips over too easily even when using the little metal device included to hook it to the wall. Top rack doesn't fit tall glasses. All the little wheels ended up having to be replaced as the plastic gets brittle and they wear out.
Bad – Would not hesitate to buy something else next time. The cleaning results are good, but nothing better than I have seen from most dishwashers. Using it is a pain. It's managed to chip a dozen nice glasses of mine, and it's a juggling act just to load and unload it. Much better to be found elsewhere. Cleans well, as long as you fill enough rinse… Read more
aid. Glasses come out very well, in all modes that the dishwasher operates, never really need to use the heavy wash unless it is really loaded with dirty dishes. The dish racks are poorly designed. Especially the top drawer, which doesn't seem to be designed to cope with anything but mugs and small glasses. If you have the top any more than half full, it just feels just like you are throwing them into a bucket. Don't bother trying to clean tall or fragile glasses in this thing as they will tip over, bump against other dishes, chip, crack and end up in your bin.
The dishwasher tips over easily. Probably the most annoying thing about it. Just a little weight in the bottom, pull out one drawer and over she goes. You have to pull out each drawer, one at a time, unload the first half, then unload the back half.
Excellent – I've used this dishwasher for almost two years and I really love it. I would buy it again without question. The 30 minute cycle works as well as any other cycle on all but the worst pots. It is very water efficient. I've never had a mechanical problem with it but I do run one of those dishwasher cleaners through it every month or two (not sure… Read more
how much they help) and I clean out the filters regularly. The dishes are sometimes wetter than I'd like - opening it about 15 to 30 minutes after the wash is ideal. However, I had a Miele before this and find the dryness not overly different. Sometimes I've had problems with it dissolving tablets. I now buy the Finish tablets with dissolving wrappers and they work fine.
OK – This cleans really well on all settings. Sadly the dishes always come out wet, even if we open it straight away to let the steam out and use extra rinse aid. It is really loud in our open plan kitchen/living area so we don't turn it on at night because it stops us hearing the tv! It's not good for odd shaped crockery like our square bowls.… Read more
Unfortunatley we were spoiled in our last house with a Miele so will no doubt have to buy one of them again to be happy. dishes come out clean noisy. plates are always wet.
Good – Overall i am very happy with it and would recommend it. AFter several unsucessful attempts to use a tablet on the eco wash we are going to buy powder as we think that might work better. Dishes come out very shiny and always clean. The dishwasher is a good size, very quite and on the normal wash function it washes very well. Looks good and was easy… Read more
to install On the fast and eco washes it doesnt release the tablet and therefore doesn't wash properly. We find we have to use the normal wash
