excellent- plenty of room and keeps food cold and fresh
We bought this as part of a fridge freezer pigeon pair.
it is a big roomy fridge
At first the doors were a bit hard to open, a sharp tug generally does it, but it has now eased with use.
It seals very well.
It is part of a pigeon pair, there is a way of attaching it to the freezer but we didn't take that option, some times the fridge might move a little as we tug the door but easily pushed back into place.

Same door problem as old one, that they replaced for me
Fridge works just fine, the problem is the door, this fridge is only 18 months old at the most. Westinghouse replaced my 6 yr old fridge with this one because the door hinges just disintegrated & the door dropped. I was told not to put anything heavy in the door shelves?! What?! Now we see the same thing happening! Quite clearly Westinghouse are STILL using cheap unreliable parts on their doors & have not learnt the lesson from having to replace a whole heap of appliances with this problem. I only keep 1 x 2 litre bottle milk plus a couple of ...
Read more1 litre bottles of water in fridge door now. I really should be able to keep much more in the door than that. This company is pathetic, they do not care that we the customer have spent up to a couple of thousand dollars for a product that does not live up to expectations. Next fridge, or any appliance will be any brand BUT Westinghouse.Purchased in November 2018.
Door is painfull - (quick simple fix - service made had it fixed in 5 mintues) no more door issues
I Agee with everyone, the door is a nightmare with lots of kids and people going in and out of the fridge its a pain to have to wait for up to a min to reopen the door and it has scratched the floor as we tried to pull the door open.

OMG! MIRACLE CURE FOR IMPOSSIBLE TO OPEN DOOR. The other day we had a 41 degree day and the fridge wouldnt open at all, not even with trying to wedge a knife to break the seal. previously since buying the fridge it would take anywhere from 1-3 minutes to get it open. We phoned Electrolux on that 41 degree ...
Read moreday. The lady on the phone was great, she had a person to our house within a few hour. Can you believe the problem was some tiny piece of plastic that is installed during manufacturing to prevent something I think during transport (cant explain exactly what it was, but the size of your thumb nail). Now no door issues, we close it and we can reopen again in seconds. If people are having door issues they need to get a service person from Westinghouse/Electrolux to come and remove this piece of plastics Thanks for the great service. We definitely will always look at your brands first when buying products. ThanksPurchased in August 2019.

Excellent fridge that holds it's temp evenly throughout the unit, top and bottom
Bought this as a second fridge and is working well. Easy to assemble and lives in the garage with no issues. Maintains the temperature throughout the fridge and is very easy to use. Shelves are easy to move around and can store plenty of difficult size shapes when needed during parties. Very happy with the operation.
Purchased in January 2019 at Appliances Online for $1,517.

bloody brilliant fridge, huge capacity, controls easy to operate, and the added bonus of Electrolux extended warranty. door opens very easily after closing so the problem of the door being hard to open must of been fixed. maybe an Electrolux representative can confirm. Crisper draw is easy to use as well. i am very very happy with this fridge.

I've always wanted a fridge big enough to store food AND booze as most do one or the other.... This has HEAPS of room for BOTH! The temperature consistency throughout the whole fridge keeps the booze in the bottom icy, takes care of my fruit & veg in Tupperware Ventsmarts in the middle, and well the top is a who's who of foodstuffs as the fridge is that big. Fridge is very easy to open and soft closes for you. Design is practical for your condiments, milk, juice etc in door shelves. We accompanied ours with the matching freezer which we are equally happy with.

My 20-year old fridge went on the blink, with frozen fruit, vegetables and smallgoods a common occurrence. Now with this new fridge, we've only had a couple of minor freezes of fruit - and that's only been when they're actually touching the back of the fridge - so we make sure the melons never touch the back/side of the fridge! Apples and citrus fruits seem fine touching the sides of the fridge without freezing, I guess melons are a bit more temperamental.
Now we have cold jars in the fridge door, too - I like! The temperature control is GOOD ...

Narelle from Electrolux here.

I don't think there's much you can do. This fridge does what it is supposed to do - keep things cold! It's just not as quiet as I would like it to be, and the veggie drawer is designed a certain way. ...
Read morePerhaps in future designs you could make the veggie drawer a LOT easier to open and close. So I broke the veggie drawer. Accidentally! It was just such a weird design. Read moreier to open and close now, ha ha!! Maybe Westinghouse 'overdesigned' the veggie drawer... I also have to say, in rather warm/hot Summer weather, the fridge does tend to freeze things a bit too much. Every week there's another frozen nectarine or something. We've been trying to keep fruit away from the inside edges of the fridge, but it's a little difficult after a big shop! I'm not sure this fridge does quite so well when it's too full. I'm wondering how big a fridge I'll need next, once my kids are teenagers and eat even more!!Find out how Westinghouse Upright WRB Series compares to other Upright Fridges / Refrigerators

I purchased this fridge nearly 12 months ago and while I love the design and space the fact that the fridge won't open again straight away is a total nightmare. In our hot Qld climate, we have to wait up to 20 - 30 minutes on some days to be able to re-open the fridge. Needless to say this is very inconvenient and impractical.
What can be done to fix the flaw in the design? We are at our wits end!
Bought this fridge and complained about the door within 2 weeks, three minutes before you can open it each time it is closed. A service man came out and contacted Westinghouse a new seal was order and never saw him again. He put some holes in the rubber and it worked better 15 secs to open, this was manageable. Now the days are hotter it does not want to open and sometimes I have to turn it off for awhile. Where I bought the fridge now have no record of my complaint.

very happy with my purchase . There is plenty of space to put even large containers. The only drawback that I find is that the motor is slightly noisy. There is plenty of light to see inside even at night.

At 510 litres this fridge provides all the space a family needs.
Love the adjustable crisper (no more forzev veg), fast chill option and wide shelves
The full length LED light shows up every corner so nothing gets lost in corners.
Fully adjustable shelving and sliding door shelves to fit tall items is a great touch.
I just love this fridge. And .....you can reverse the door if you need to have it open in the other direction.
Couldn't be happier

Had to call in an electrician this morning after our 22 yr old 2-door American assembled Whirlpool fridge almost caused a fire. We had noticed a smokey kitchen and an overpowering chemical burning smell. The safety switch in the mains was triggered and our electrician advised us that the old models have an unhealthy design with a board covering the rear at the base which limited ventilation. Dust had accumulated and clogged up the blades of the fan which could not turn but electricity cont to flow, causing heat and what we smelled. Had the ...
Read moresafety switch not triggered, a fire would have erupted. My stubborn husband ignored my brother-in-laws' advice and mine to get rid of this old model on the basis of poor energy efficiency as he wanted to retain this as the "stinky" fridge which could store food with odours that did not appeal to him, like seafood. Well, it almost cost us our house. Off we went to Harvey Norman, wary that Westinghouse has closed its manufacturing doors in NSW to move to Thailand. We wanted a single door fridge only unit so that left limited choices. So despite my review on WRM4300WB last yr, we took the plunge on WRB5004SA with a 2 yr warranty as the other models appear to have equally flimsy hinged joints. Fingers crossed, esp with a made in Thailand product and hopefully I do not have to make another post to amend the star rating for at least 5 yrsI emailed U on 16/3/17 at customercare@electrolux.com.au but did not receive any reply or tel call. So I am posting this - This is part of my email
Hi ELECTROLUX OR WESTINGHOUSE CUSTOMER CARE ...

ASAP The fridge had not been turned on Please don't make me wait 3-4 wks for a new door I would like a brand new perfect replacement Please advise me (mobile number was provided) HUMBUG - I did not receive any call. I contacted Harvey Norman where superstaff [name removed] tried her best to resolve my disappointment with their Westinghouse rep - I have been told that I cannot refund the fridge as it is out of the packaging - nor will they give me a new unit - I can only keep my fingers crossed that there are no other construction defects in other parts of the fridge not visible to me. I have been advised to use the fridge and wait for up to 6 wks to get a new door The design of the fridge door of this model is different - 5 of the 6 screws are jutting out, only one was inserted correctly. However, the demo model on the floor had the screws fitted properly X6. We own 3 other Westinghouse models, Aussie made - screws not visible on the side Cannot comment on other functioning as have not switched it on. My family and I are annoyed and unhappy. The door seal on this is better. Like the other reviewer Susan, we found the door seal of the first faulty model too tight. Thank U A week later, our 12.5 yr old staff room fridge failed. Our split system refrigeration mech sugg it would not be worth repairs so given the positive experience, I decided to replace it with a Westinghouse WTB2800WG but decided to add on a 3 yr commercial extra care warranty with Online Appliances. I have never used separate fridge and freezer before and am considering buying this one-just want to know if overall people are ok-concerned with doors beeping and internal cracks noted by some users
I would avoid this one. The Fisher and Paykel is more expensive, but seems to be much better built.
My fridge is just 3 years old and it appears to be running both compressor and internal fan but it is not getting cold the thermal overload has been replaced please advise Colin
Please can you advise whether the dimensions include all protruding pieces like handles, chiller piece behind fridge etc? My current Westinghouse said the width was 626mm but is actually nearer 660mm. I have a confined space and need to ensure the measurements are accurate.
Also how much space should I allow around this model for air circulation? My current one says 3cm each side, 5cm behind fridge and 9cm above fridge.
Thanks
Jacqui
