After sale service is a disgrace
I had to reported an issue with the stove (noisy fan) twice before any response. Then I had to wait another 2 weeks to be given a 5.5 hour window for the technician to come around. I had to take a days leave to have a fan fixed. The unapologetic technician turned up an hour late. This is the most pathetic service I have ever come across in my life time. And I have worked with many technicians and other much larger service providers before. This is by far the worst.
Westinghouse should take a serious look at who they use to do their servicing in Perth. They’re ruining your reputation.

This oven looks great and works fine easy to use has great features, but its made out of cheap stainless steel that scratches like crazy, also I had a faulty regulator on the back of this oven, leaking gas,I could of been killed, only for us smelling the gas,had plumbers in to fix it,wheres the quality control on these items how could that of not been detected, westinghouse you need to stop importing cheap products, use our steel made here in Australia ,our steel is quality, stop pushing cheap inferior products out on to Australian markets, look at t...Read more
he old stoves from years ago they would out do the crap your selling to customers now, my new stove is scratched in a new dam home ,im not happy this product was in my new home when it was built, im throwing this oven out and buying a new brand made in Australia with Australian steel not the crap used from imports, and not one that scratches, also I wont be purchasing another oven off you,and if my starts to rust I won't be letting it go,I will be taking it to consumer affairs and fair trading for faulty products you pay thousands to get good quality and this is not,it was faulty and dangerous, what have you done about these ovens exploding and shedding glass slivers and if you have known about this issue why wasn't the items on recall you have failed in your duty of care towards customers putting there lifes at risk so much for quality control, and testing of these ovensPurchased at None.

Dangerous Exploding Oven Zero Customer Service
6 months old and the oven exploded shooting glass around the kitchen. Some of the glass was 3 meters from the oven such was the force of the explosion.
Has taken 10 days for Electolux to call back and they are sighting another 8 days for someone to come out.
Reports of these ovens exploding go back to 2018 they should be recalled before someone is seriously injured.
Purchased in October 2019.

Hi Zaida. I already have a "ticket number" of 146949. If you would like to call my details will be listed. I am still awaiting a call back from a supervisor in warranty that was to call back 1/7/2020.
Don't expect Electrolux to respond anytime soon when your oven explodes. After multiple calls and emails the best they can offer is to send someone out for a "safety check" 24 days later. Save yoursel... Read more

Exploding oven door
After cooking lunch yesterday (at 180c) We were sitting at the kitchen bench, when the inner glass door exploded, glass everywhere. I have never had an oven do this before, and after reading other reviews I am sorry we made a decision to purchase this oven, as this is really dangerous. And now here we are stuck in isolation with no oven to cook our food!

Brand new Westinghouse standalone oven and already rusting after 2 months Don't But Westinghouse
My wife and I purchased a brand new, out of the box Westinghouse 900mm stand alone gas oven/cook top at the end of October 2019. Within 2 months signs of rust were appearing all over the top and sides. We called the Westinghouse/Electrolux service agent at the start of Feb 2020 who sent somebody out and inspected, took some photos and confirmed we were looking after it with the correct chemicals and that the rust should not be occurring. He said somebody would be in touch. April 9th we'd received no response so I called again as the rust got ...Read more
even worse...it is now showing down along 14 inches down the side of the top and in various other large spots on the sides and front. The lady found the report with the photos and said somebody would call back that day to let us know what was happening but mentioned that because we lived a few km from the beach the rust may be caused by that. No response so I called back 14th April and was told that Westinghouse/Electrolux would not do anything further as we lived close to the ocean and rust was not covered under the warranty. At no point did anybody mention this. Given the product is only a few months old you would not expect to have this amount of rust showing. The Westinghouse range hood, installed at the same time, is fine. The Omega stand alone that this product replaced had no rust after 10 years of use...I wish we didn't sell it. Do not buy any product from Westinghouse as the metal they use is clearly inferior and rusts like crazy...and is not covered by their warranty. Use poor quality products and sell at a premium...we paid almost $2000 for this. Please not that it works fine and does everything it is supposed to but on my reckoning we'll have to swap out within 12 months due to severe rust inside and out. Just checked warranty provided with the appliance and there's no mention at all that rust is not covered.Purchased in November 2019 at Catwalk Connection for $1,650.00.

Seal melted first time
Turned oven on for first time after it was installed today. The interior seal melted.
Now I’m wishing I had read the reviews before purchasing because I’m seriously concerned about my kids dying from exploding glass doors.
Purchased in January 2020 at Harvey Norman for $1,749.00.

Can't live without it now
This is a large 90 cm oven and I love it as it fits in two pizzas, roast and veges platters and two muffins trays and a cake all on the one shelf. It heats up fast, cooks fast ( so I have to reduce cooking times) and programs fairly easily.
Purchased in November 2019.

How is this product not a safety recall due to oven door glass exploding
We purchased the oven 5 weeks ago had it professionally installed I'm a professional chef and baker and like all people that enjoy cooking looked forward to producing some quality food products. We got to use it twice, third time turned on and 2 minutes later loud explosion and glass everywhere; inner door glass panel exploded. I have read other reviews of this happening why was this product not saftey recalled the first time? too bad if it had been the outer panel and one of my small children had been nearby: I would not recommend this product to anyone.
Purchased in September 2019 at Harvey Norman for $1,899.00.

Nothing but problems
We got a new unit with our brand new house and we have nothing but problems with this unit. The oven randomly stops working and specially when you have a house full of guest and your brand new unit stops working its really embarrassing. Have reported this and tech has attend 3 times but can't find or repair the fault. I will not recommend anyone getting this for their house.

Great oven for my needs
Nice looking quiet oven. Instructions easy to use and not complicated. Cook-top easy to clean and not too many fiddly parts on the gas burners. I have learnt to pre heat oven long enough to make sure it is ready to go when baking cakes and biscuits. I do like how the timer switches the oven off when it reaches the set time so you cant burn stuff and beeper on alarm is nice and loud.

Oven
The oven we purchased was convenient and easy to get around. It is big enough to cater to my whole big family. Easy to navigate with the buttons and not too complicated which I highly recommend because I’m not the type of person who enjoys reading manual instructions. Also like to use the grill at the bottom

Never Again
I would not purchase this oven again . Just had the door explode in my face . Second Westinghouse glass oven door I have heard that has done this . This needs to be looked at . I have cut toes and glass shards all over . Oven was not in use at the time and glass had been removed to be cleaned. . Exploded whilst lying on the bench waiting to be cleaned.

Cooktop flame ignition is a struggle
The burner flame ignition is just a pain. Sometimes you have to press and hold the burner knob in for a minute for the flame to stay on. Sometimes it will work by pressing and holding the knob for 10 seconds but mostly you have to hold it for a minute and even then sometimes it does not work and you have to try few times.
Issue is not only with just one burner but will all of them. We were given this by the builder so had no other choice. Have reported it to the builder but aparantly the warranty has expired by few days even we have moved i...Read more
n less than a year ago but the warranty started when it was it was installed not when the house was handed over. The issue was there from few weeks in but did not bother us much but have gone worst with time.3 comments

Love it!
Highly recommend,every thing browns beautifully.
The oven has so much space , perfect for big family gatherings.
The middle wok burner I use for heating up my big pot of water much quicker than a normal burner a great time saver.

Very pleased, great quality and does the job
Gas cook top is well designed, love the wok extension. Easy to convert to bottle LPG, just don't forget to adjust the flame height. Set the burner to low, take the control knob off and adjust the flame with adjustment screw just to the left of the spindle, do this with every burner.
Oven is extremely quite and cooks perfectly.

Quiet oven that does what you need it to do.
Good quality, quiet oven and happy to have bought this. I asked my oven repair person (old oven-not a Westinghouse) which brand to go for and they recommended this. It has necessary features with 5 burners and touch screen timer. The only thing as a continuous improvement item for the company is to make the oven about 1 inch in depth deeper for larger trays.
