Useless - burns food on outside and undercooked on inside – As per the title - the oven is of very poor quality in general as you can see via the various comments. Best to buy a reputable oven brand given it's such a used product (I got this in a house I bought and can highly recommend NOT buying this brand). Show details

Great oven! – Simple to use, food cooks well. Easy enough to clean. I was unhappy oven fan makes a loud rattling noise hitting the heater coil, however I couldn't be happier they sent someone out to come fix it for free. Now it works great without issues. Show details

Compared to the old oven, this one is amazing – So our landlord finally replaced the original faulty oven about 15 months ago with this oven. It's amazing! Evenly cooked food, cool to touch, easy to clean door assembly. Even though it is pretty basic in as much as all you do is choose a function and a temperature and away you go. The light works too which is alway nice. In 3 years with the… Read more

first oven had kinda forgotten ovens had lights.

Old oven - can't remember the brand oven: The old oven had a litany of faults yet sorta worked anytime an electrician looked at it so we had to put up with half cooked food, over cooked food, just really unpredictable results and the insulation was barely usable so it was always super hot on the outside which was a worry if friends and little kids were visiting. So Little insulation that it caused visible discoloration in the painted kitchen cupboard doors.

Compared to the old oven this thing cooks great - as in the food is evenly cooked. Just set it and cook for the recoomended time in recipes. It is also really well insulated so no worries should anyone visit with smalls.

And as an added bonus, this year our power bill came down (Probably due to better insulation, faster cooking times), even throughout covid with two of use here 24-7. Without knowing for certain, This is the only major change that could have brought down energy consumption given theoretically it should have been higher than other years.

Pro's: Cooks great. Everything works as expected. well insulated. Lower power bills.

Cons: None as yet in the 15 months we've had the use of it

Fan a terrible this is the 2nd Westinghouse oven I have had. Will never buy another one – The oven is good for everything that I need it for except the fan . This is the second oven I have had, and the fan has done exactly the same banging noise with the fan. Like the other comment just out of warranty. I would not recommend buying this oven Show details

Extremely Disappointed – I hate it. It burns everything. Very uneven cooking. It will burn 1 end of your tray and the other end will be pale. It's crazy I have to turn things around to achieve a somewhat a more even cook. The trimmer Sticks on most of the time where for you burn. I'm heart broken with it. Very DISAPPOINTED it's AWFUL. Update I had repair put a new fan… Read more

in and it's still terrorabilbe it still does all of the above. My complaints fell on deaf ears . Even the repairman said they have a lot of trouble with this model .

Cheaply made – Fan starts to rattle after a couple of years. It started as a ringing sound, something like a phone ring, but it's actually the fan breaking down and hitting the fan case. It cost me $544 at the time of purchase. I'm not even going to throw good money after bad. The oven goes to the tip tomorrow, and I'll purchase something worthwhile. Also, the… Read more

oven does not bake without the fan on, which is kind of a dissapointment, so it dries everything out. Not a very well made piece of equipment, and the cheap price reflects this.

Pretty good oven for value and good looks – Owned for just on a year now. This Westinghouse oven cooks fairly evenly depending on type of food and position in oven. On a few occasions now the timer has stuck/stopped at 80minutes. The fan is pretty quiet with a low hum. Still fairly easy to clean. Overall am pretty happy with its operation.  Show details

Simple to use, with replacement parts easier to obtain (down the track) – After our old whirlpool oven (which had been increasingly difficult/impossible to source replacement parts for) had finally reached the end of its lifespan, we needed a replacement... This Westinghouse, is not the cheapest, nor the most expensive, but has several advantages: 1) extremely simple to use (dials for multifunction selection,… Read more

temperature etc.) 2) cool to touch doors ("multi-layer glazed oven doors") 3) generous capacity 4) easier replacement parts as they are made in Australia. Highly recommended.

Westing house WVE614 FAN FORCED OVEN – I have had expensive ovens in the past, however I decided on a more basic oven, no electronic's, just simple temp, grill, oven and fan forced with simple timer. WELL, best oven I have ever used, and I have had about 4 over the 35 years, you pay a premium for all the electronics that quite often won't turn on or turn off when you don't want them… Read more

to as you have to set start times, end times etc.

Also made in Australia parts easy to come by, not that I have had any issues.

An Electrician said buy the Westinghouse and I havent looked back.

I purchased a second one for the investment property and they are also raving about simplicity over electronic types and its cooking quality.

Made me realise what I was missing out on! – Had been using a 14year old Emilia oven which progressively became worse over the last couple of years and was never looked after by the tenants before us. Just before Christmas, I organised to have the oven replaced and purchased the Westinghouse. It is a basic model and cheapest of the range but definitely does an amazing job! Comparing this… Read more

model to our old oven (which offer very similar features) I can honestly see such a huge difference.

Food cooks perfectly and evenly. The oven is very quiet with the fans on. It's reduced my cooking time, especially when it comes to roasts like turkeys or leg of lambs and comes with its own roasting tray. The face of the oven (where the dials are) remain finger-print free, so it looks and stays cleaner!

Being 4 months into using this oven, even as a base model, I am very pleased with this product and recommend it to anyone who wants a cheaper yet functional oven that cooks beautifully.

Super quiet, cooks well, looks beautiful – I bought the sleek white model to go in my newly-renovated kitchen, to complement the white high-gloss doors & panels. It looks beautiful and cooks very well too. Even though this is the more "basic" model in the range, it has plenty of handy functions including fan bake and fan grill. I've found my food cooks evenly and quickly. It's also very… Read more

quiet and the interior light is clear & bright. I love that the front glass can be easily taken out for cleaning. Very happy with this oven so far.

Does the job – Great brand and easy to get parts (hopefully I don't need the parts). Heats evenly and gets up to the right temperature in a decent amount of time. Good guys were very competitive with the pricing and although I bought it online, I went into a store to view the product and he salesman was great.  Show details
