I brought this machine 2 months ago , very disappointed , no matter how little detergent I use it leaves suds in the door at the end of cycle, also clothes are still very wet after spinning and sound crunchy from not rinsing properly and just in a heap when cycle done, my last machine was 7kg also, this one doesn’t take as much in a load so doing twice as many loads, and needing to do rinse and spin on top of washing cycle every time, any suggesting please as I’m now looking at selling it and purchasing a different brand.
We are very pleased and have had none of those issues. Ask about repairs under warranty. You should have consumer protection.
Thanks for contacting us, sorry to hear you are having issues. See the following info, the detergent rule of thumb with a modern, efficient front loader is : ¼ the recommended quantity in s...oft water areas (Melb, Syd, Darwin, Tas & any rain water supply), 1/3 in medium water hardness areas (most of QLD & Country NSW that’s not on rain water) and ½ in extremely hard water areas (bore, Parts of SA & WA).
Does this machine have a pre soak function
These washers do not have a pre soak function, however there is a cycle that allows for a 90°C pre wash.
Dear Whirlpool representatives, could you please advise whether the latest Whirlpool front loader washing machine door seal is one of the large fold rubber style that pools water and eventually grows mould in the fold, despite wiping out after each wash, or is it like the W6444 2013 Asko's silicon rubber door seal that just fits around the edge of the door glass like a gasket & doesn't develop this chronic mould problem described in the large fold rubber seal design?
Reason I'm asking: had a Bendix only 5 1/2 years before the Asko that had this problem despite wiping the seal out after every wash. Sorry for this long question. Am otherwise very impressed with Whirlpool 's above reviews. I had a small top loading Whirlpool bought 2nd hand in 1989 that gave solid reliable service. So be great to go back to "ye olde Whirlpool "! Cheers and thank you if have the time to reply.
This washing machine has a rubber seal on the door. The best way to take care of this seal is to leave the door open after a wash to allow some air to dry it. Also, if there is a lot of ...
Thank you Anthony F. Much obliged matey. Will remember your advice - sounds like a good idea. Cheers.
Does this model have flood protection?

Can the 30 minute quick rinse speed be changed from 800 preset to 1200 without affecting the 30 time.
When selecting the Rapid 30 cycle repeatedly press the spin button and it will toggle between the available speeds for that cycle. ...However, there will be a increase in time for that wash cycle. Kind Regards,
Thank you. Do you know what the increase in time is likely to be - otherwise defeats the purpose of 30 minute quick wash.
