2013 Wilier Gran Turismo Ultegra Di2
I am a relative newcomer to the sport of cycling and purchased this bike upgrading from an alloy flat bar road bike. So there is a significant step up in quality and performance that should be immediately noticable. There absolutely was!! I had trialled a number of other bikes before settling on this purchase. Trek madone- too stiff, Specialized Rubaix too insulated and no road feel. This bike is not an outright sprint machine but you wont be left behind either when the pace hots up. Great bike for the longer rides and performed flawless...ly when i recently returned from a 3 day 300km plus charity ride. No soreness in lback shoulders or arms as had been my experience previously on such rides. Di2 groupset does noy like to be knocked out of alignement for be careful if yo go with this groupset. Bike responds well to getting the power down but not at the expense of comfort when spending long hours in the saddle. Very happy with the purchase and the finishing kit in terms of handlebars crank arms and seatpost with the Wilier logo looks really smart much nicer than the offering from the competition in my opinion. Great for extended rides, Smart looking, beautiful frame and tube shapes, comfortable, maintains 30km/h easily Di2 needs care, matt finish on fram harder to keep clean than fully painted finish.
