How do you get the thing open to put the batteried I have tried twisting and turning ,pulling up and even both twist and pull nothing happens ...Help please.
If twisting and turning the top housing is not releasing the top housing , there is no other way to open ; suggest taking it back to store where purchased and ask for a replacement or refund.
Reply thanks my husband was able to open it straight away while I still can't get it open I hate that.

How to remove top to put batteries in
No instructions on how to open to put the batteries in or how to put the salt and pepper in (I think s&p go in from underneath but the pepper knob just keeps turning the spindle inside and will not unscrew like the salt one) so if you have to also unscrew with screwdriver the two tiny screws to put the batteries in ? you cannot until you get the knobs out and the tiny screws will not budge anyway I am going to try and take it back next time I am in time
