Shocking service never again.
Extremely disappointed with winc, ordered my daughters book pack on the 31/12/19 to be promised delivery before the start of the term, have received nothing and we are only a few days from the start of school. Tried calling multiple times to find out the status of my order to be told it’s still processing and a few items are not one stock, do you think you could send what you have so she atleast has majority of her things?? Next time I will be go elsewhere I might get what I have paid for next time. Hopeless service with minimal help tracing orders.
Shocking service. Don't waste your time using!
School book orders take a long time and orders are never complete. There's always books that go on back order, so your kids start the school term without all their text books. It's very hard to speak to anyone on the phone as you usually wait well over 30 minutes and get disconnected. So many parents from our school are complaining and haven't received the books when they were told they would. I will never use again. Theres other better alternatives
Do Not Use.
I will never use this service again. Items for two students delivered over 7 different packages, on 6 different days over a three week period. Item come damaged or used by Winc staff. Save yourself the time, money and hassle and buy from a store yourself. One small item would be delivered in a massive box. Packaging is such poor quality it was damaged and broken open with items missing. Those replacement items will not be delivered in time for the start of school. Both reams of paper opened as though it was made up of multiple other packs.

Ordered school supplies over a month ago and still waiting on 90 items to be delivered!
I ordered my daughters year 7 school supplies in mid December and it was all split up into 4-5 different parcels, no tracking numbers on any of them and I only received 6 items in total out of the 94 items I ordered! I've been calling you guys every day to find out what the hell is going on as my daughter starts school in 8 days, only to he told they don't know what a going on STILL cant give me a tracking number or tell me when it will be shipped absolutely no knowledge on your end! How is this business still a float? If I could give zero star...s I would! I've been telling anyone who needs school supplies to NOT order through winc as this has been nothing but stressful! If my package hasn't arrived by mid this week I want a full refund of the 90 items I didn't receive as I will have to rush out and buy them elsewhere so my daughter can start school! Do not use this company for anything! go elsewhere save yourself the massive screw around!
Winc have taken two reasonable companies - Officemax and Staples - and turned them into one disaster. They have no ability to perform Back to School as it was under Officemax.
Recent orders have been:
1. stuck in limbo at the warehouse;
2. under supplied and charged for all items
3. over supplied and charged for all items
4. over supplied and charged for only ordered items
5. left outside prior to delivery
Terrible delivery service
We ordered stationery online in November 2019 for the school start on 28 January 2020. We are less than 2 weeks from school starting and we have only received 60% of our order. Deliveries are made in dribs and drabs with packaging not protected so items are being received broken. We have to keep a tally on what has been received manually as we are receiving so many items separately.
Officemax was order online and receive 1 box with everything. Winc is order online and receive order over 10 deliveries with bits missing.
Not a happy customer at all.
Shocking customer service
Since office max was taken (or absorbed) into Winc my experience online ordering, customer service, response times, flexibility (everything I used office max for for over 10 years) has gone down the drain. Customer service agent speak to you as if they really dont care what your problem is, shoved from one department to another. I will not use them again.
Worst customer service - hard to contact, orders totally wrong!
Can not believe a company can get a simple book order so wrong. Have received order with items missing, tried to follow up multiple times, then receive another box with what i was hoping would contain my missing items only to find 9 items in the box that aren't even from my order! Now been on hold and disconnected several times totally wasting my valuable time and still no closer to finalising the kids books! Never again!
Followed up delivery or lack there of only to be told magically I had signed for it without knowing
Placed an order which seemingly was taking longer than estimated delivery times. Checked online tracking which showed shipped but no further updates. Rang and was on hold for 10 mins before getting some one in customer service that wasnt particularly friendly. She put me on hold and then stated that it had been delivered and I had signed for it. Not sure why Id be bothered wasting my time and effort in sitting on hold and chasing my tail if I had the items.... she then said she would email my signature receipt so I could see that clearly my Alz...heimers was getting the better of me. Well as it turns out her Alzheimers magically kicked in and she never emailed me.... Ive sent an email chasing my items and evidence they reckon they have of the items being delivered. Never will ever do business with them again! Your customer service is rude and hopeless in following through with what they say! Your tracking system clearly also needs to be updated more precisely.
price increase & quality deterioration
As a Motel operator I have been the customer of Winc (formerly Corporate express, Staples) for the last 20 years.The quality of most of their products have deteriorated from very good to terrible within the last 3 years. I have spoken to different customer service Managers within the last 3 years with no improvement in the quality of their products.their Price increase does not match quality.Please keep away from their products.

Run, run far, run fast...
Well, where do I start? As a parent of a high school student we were given our booklists earlier this year as his school starts Year 11 in term 4. The choice of OfficeMax (Winc) was what the school supplied. I get online immediately and order what he requires for the year, then realise I have missed a couple of books so order those. Now we are in week six of term and I STILL do not have my orders. It has been an absolute nightmare and what I would aliken to "a comedy skit". I work in education myself and I have NEVER dealt with such an unhelpfu...l, disorganised company. I have emailed several times (no reply), called MANY times and repeatedly disconnected after being on call waiting for several minutes only to have a message say "we are experiencing technical issues" then dial tone... Argh...so frustrated! The first time I got through to a customer service officer, I was informed, in a very nice tone mind you, that it was the schools fault????? He would expedite the order and get it on its way. So...still no order. The second time I managed to get through ( a week later) yes they can see the order has been picked and packed and is on its way...still no order! Today I tried to get through and got the technical difficulties message, so I decided to call the business customer service line... Yeah you guessed it - straight through. The lady was pleasant and stated " yes that order was picked and packed for distribution on the 12/11, so you should have it"... Yes, yes I should - but I don't!!! Oh I will expedite that order... NO STOP! (HEAVY SIGH) ... I have never been so frustrated... and my anxious ridden teenager is beside himself as he doesn't have his supplies - especially his text books. Tomorrow I am going to attempt to call (fingers crossed) to get a full refund and try somewhere else. The supplier that the school I work for uses is outstanding and efficient.... my advice to you... Run, run far and run fast because I'm starting to think I'm never going to get my orders!!!!

Shockingly Slow Service
We were originally part of Office Max and our account was carried over as part of the WINC merger. It has been an absolute nightmare - no communication, the slowest service. Six days waiting for photocopy paper for the office and they have no idea when it will arrive. The staff at the end of the phone must be demoralised by all the complaints. Honesty - if you need office supplies (fast) - go elsewhere.
Go to Officeworks or anywhere else
We had an account with them so i was told to use them . I ordered 3 time and each order was either late (more than 3 days) not delivered in full or charged at the wrong contract price. I tried to call them to sort it out but their call centre is more useless. Terrible company to deal with and they don't care about their customers use someone else, anyone!
Ordering & follow up very poor
Order several items of furniture and was told 7 - 10 days delivery.
One chair was delivered within that time and all other items are still not delivered nearly 2 months on.
I have rang and filled on line enquiry and no one has contacted me.
When I ring they cant tell me when I can expect the furniture or even where it currently is!
Very disappointed with their service and will not be using them again.
Still waiting and waiting
I ordered my item online and waited for 2 weeks while the tracking only showed 'Processed' and didn't change for the entire time.
I called the customer service and they decided to make a re-supply for this missing order.
10 business days after this 're-supply' - still the same, the tracking only shows 'Processed' and no further news.
I spoke to a customer service again and she was going to check with the warehouse and get back to me.
There has been no email or call from anyone. I sent an email to follow up but no reply.
Is it so hard to ship an item or keep your customer updated? You've taken money from customer's account - so not supplying items without explanation is like a theft.
If you can avoid ordering off this website - avoid at all costs. I ordered an item over a week ago and I never received an email saying it was shipped, only an order confirmation. On the “track order” function it says it hasn’t even been processed yet. A week from ordering it!! For ordering a simple book online coming from Sydney to WA that is very unusual.
I called customer service and enquires about the status of my order. The girl I spoke to was utterly unapologetic, snippy and interrupted me constantly. She told me it was shipped 2 days ...ago. I said well I never received an email saying it was shipped and she told me that only “internal” was able to see that information. (?!) she said that the tracking won’t say it has been shipped until it is in the WA warehouse which would be 7 business days away. When I questioned why we were only notified the item was shipped the day it was to be delivered (2 weeks from ordering) she asked me in an accusatory tone “have you ever even ordered anything from Sydney before”. I said yes and everywhere else I’ve ordered from sends a shipping confirmation. She replied with well have you even ordered from winc though? I said “but surely other winc customers want to know when their items are shipped” and she replied with “well winc customers know how our system works”. I mean come on... how rude. The conversation preceded to degenerate. She kept cutting me off and not letting me finish - she did not want to listen. Finally she did apologise and admit the system was flawed and she would pass my information on AFTER I told her I was going to leave a review - however she did tell me to “Go for gold” in writing one. I have never ever in my life gotten angry on the phone to any sort of customer service. But this was honestly just ridiculous. I don’t know anywhere else in Australia where you pay for shipping, get your item 2 weeks later after no shipping confirmation, no accurate tracking service and NO helpful customer service. Who knows if my item will even arrive...
Winc is an absolutely shocking company to deal with..!!!
I ordered a dozen items via their online store on 30th june 2019 which in total value came to $55.02 and yet they then sent me an invoice for $87 and immediately debited my credit card for $116 and they had also failed to comply with their own published price-match policy of taking a further 10% off their approved price-match pricing. It’s now almost a month since I ordered and I have now been in contact with their “customer care” via email at least 3 times where I have fully explained all of their stuff-ups to them in full detail and ...yet I’m still waiting for them to correctly refund me for their overcharging and I am still waiting for them to send me the final couple of items to complete the still unfinished delivery of my full order and they have provided no ‘voluntary’ feedback to me, their customer, about what’s holding up the completion of my order. In my own experience, winc is an absolutely shocking company to deal with and I will never again spend another single penny of my money with this bunch of cowboys and I will be advising everyone that I know, to steer well clear of them, as well. If it was possible to do so I would have given them a zero star rating..!!!!
I was skeptical at first after reading all the comments here but in the end I thought I would give this company a try. I placed an order on Tuesday afternoon with estimate delivery for Wednesday since I live in Sydney metro area. The products arrived exactly as I ordered on Wednesday. I don't usually write a review (only when the expereince either really bad or really good) so for me, it was a great experience dealing with this company.
