Insanely high charges for hot water

We unfortunately have no choice but to use WinConnect for our electricity, gas cooktop and hot water, this company can not provide detailed reports on hot water usage and every bill for last few months has been higher than the previous. In April we apparently used 93.7143ltrs per day and then in August we apparently upped our daily usage to 192.7272lts!!!! If you can avoid this company do so at all costs and for body corporates that are either using them or are considering them, please for your owners and renters sakes either get rid of them or choose another provider. Show details

Great Prompt Service every time

Have been a customer for short time of 2.5 years but still received great service each time. Have recently applied for the changeover to Solar and found it quite timely but not at all a huge inconvenience. Embedded network wasn’t our preference but it hasn’t been a terrible experience at all. Show details

Poor management

Overbilled due to archaic systems.
Management defend the logic beyond reason.
Unfortunately, if you live in Mortlake this company may be your only provider option.

Fvcking fraud

If your property energy is supplied by this terrible company, don’t fvcking ever move in. They will squeeze every single coins from you by their embedded network and you have no choice. I have paid my 2b2b ac usage for 470 dollars this month from the “fair air” bill. This fvcking bill is separated bill and I paid 95 dollars for electricity bill at same month. I used to pay 260 dollars electricity bill for 3b2b from other company in same month a year before. Don’t fvcking ever use win connect. Show details

Dodgy as they come. Avoid!

Moved into an Apartment building managed by these rorters. Hot water and usage is crazy expensive and about 3 times the cost. Never again!

Customer Service Is Flawless

I have (unfortunately) been paying into my old WinConnect account for months.
On 07/04/2022 I contacted Chelsea to ask if the funds could be transferred from my old account, to my new account.

Not only did she instantly fix this up for me, (huge relief), she also transferred a portion of this to our latest water bill and informed us we have a credit towards our next one.

Chelsea was extremely profession, so pleasant to deal with, and instantly resolved all my issues PLUS advised of the credit for our bill.

A joke

I recently found out that it’s the embedded provider in my building. When comparing with other providers, I have found there fees to be ridiculous. They are over priced, and will continue to charge you, even if you change energy providers.
How this is allowed is ridiculous and it a clear manipulation of the system to rip people off and make those who benefit from the contract a whole lot richer.
Do not rent or buy when there is a preferred energy provider like this one. Show details

Terrible service, no greenpower option, exorbitant connection and disconnection fees. AVOID

If you are looking at renting a property and it is on a Winconnect Embedded Network (also known as WinEnergy), do not move in! Winconnect has terrible customer service, they do not offer a 100% renewable option (or any greenpower options whatsoever) and they charge exorbitant connection and disconnection fees.
Their rates are also much higher than other retailers charge, and they do not allow you to easily switch to a market retailer, even though it is required by law.

They charge an astronomical amount of money for move-in as well as move-out.

rip off

never in our life have we paid over $400 a month for a family of 3 in a 2 bedroom but winnconnect says meter is 100% correct.
we run a full time bussiness with lights,pumps heaters running 24/7 and still pay less.

The worst electricity company

first, they don't have a customer dashboard. I can't see anything about my usage until I got a bill in email. There's not even a payment system that you can just do it online. $40 for connection fee and another $40 for disconnection fee, very dodgy. Electricity is at least 30% more expensive than previous companies I used. What's the worst, I have to use win connect, there's no other choices since they're the only provider for my building. Simple and effective

I have purchased a townhouse in a complex where WinConnect manages the embedded network. I spoke with Joanne on the phone today and had my energy connection set up, back-dated to my purchase date so as to alleviate emergency connection fees and told about all my options and offers available. Reap off company

They are too costly prob works in favor if strata but renters suffers I moved in 6 months I paid $900 and my other electricity provider in a different location 6 months costed about $600 I have to take it up with obudsman as it looks fraud. Show details
