Trust the panel of selectors to make the decisions for your taste buds and you will have no worries. Highly recommended. Can I give 6 out of 5 stars ?
Love wine selectors
I love having wine delivered to my door and the selection is always amazing! I would recommend wine selectors to all of the wine lovers out there.
"Complimentary wine" IS NOT FREE.
Entered a comp and received a few calls from an SA number which I wasn't able to answer (no message left). When they rang at a time I was able to answer, found out the caller was Wine Selectors, wishing me luck on my competition entry and offering me a "complimentary six-month subscription". I was surprised, free wine for six months seems a lot. From a marketing standpoint (my actual job), it doesn't seem like something a company would do.
Listened the sales operator's spiel, she seemed nice enough, but I was suspicious... free wine for six mo...nths? Then there it was. "We'll send you a box in a week for free, then when you receive the wine, you need to pay the invoice." I'm sorry, what? Does your company not know what COMPLIMENTARY means? It means free. Extremely misleading and wasting my time in the middle of a workday to finally get to the catch, that in fact, I have to pay to purchase 12 bottles of wine you've just repeatedly told me are "free". "It will take about a week because we're located in the Hunter Valley." Hm, strange that I'm being called from local SA numbers, makes me wonder if the company is spoofing local numbers so that people won't ignore them?
Enjoyed every minute
Both presenters were very knowledgeable. Despite the chatter from some of the guests, they were very patient. Very much enjoyed hearing them sharing their extensive experience and knowledge. The chosen cheeses and wines were outstanding. Loved the whole day
Did a wine and cheese masterclass. Was a great time and very educational. Good wines and superb cheese made a great time
They rip you off!
Terrible company to buy from! I can never reach their customer service. They did outbound call to sell me a box of wine without telling me the price, they put me on monthly order and keep charging me. It’s been 4 months and I still can’t reach them to cancel my order!
Worst subscription ever
Had a phone call from wine selectors telling me I had a 6 month free membership. I was on a bad connection so asked if they could call back later, lady said yes but then proceeded to ask for my address and credit card info, the latter of which I didn’t have access to at the time. I thought that was the end of it until a week later a case of wine rocks up with an invoice attached! I didn’t even agree for the wine to be sent out, yet here I am having to pay for it. The lady on the phone also told me I could pause/cancel my membership online at an...y time, this was a lie!! You must ring them to cancel the membership and of course they try to weasel you into staying with them. The wines I’ve received aren’t even that good for the price I’ve paid for them. Will not recommend to anyone!

Joined at Adelaide Royal Show, signed up for the Regional Release Box, 4 Boxes a year, 2x Mixed Dozen and 2x White Dozen. Really chuffed with the selections from the panel and the offers for glasses etc, would definitely recommend them as they take notice of your requests and are really contactable and friendly - if you don’t like something they are happy to replace it.
Horrible sales team
I was travelling through the Sydney domestic airport recently and was called over for a tasting by a younger woman named [Name Removed] I believe. It started off ok until I questioned her on a couple statements she had made about the wine. I don't mind if your not educated on wine but to start insulting potential customers for trying to correct her obvious lack of knowledge is just not on. I don't know if she's new to the company but I have never met somebody so rude and so mean. The it all stared after she suggested pairing a Riesling or Char...donnay with a party pie! I thought she was trying to joke but then proceeded to berate me for saying that it should be paid with a red not a white. Seriously train your staff if you hope to ever gain more customers this was the worst encounter I've ever had.
Have been a member for many years now and find the wines consistently good. Always backed by good background notes and the knowledge that they have been tasted and recommended by people who know their wines. Well known labels and reputable wineries. I don't think I have ever had a wine I couldn't drink.
Their customer service is great and the consultants are always pleasant to talk to. Excellent value for money given the high quality of the wines. I think Wine Selectors are the best subscription winery in Australia at their price point.
Did someone say... fantastic Australian wine????
Not one to lock myself into a regular subscription for anything but a magazine, I thought I'd give this a try and then cancel after the first or second delivery. I mean how good was this going to be when I don't get to pick and choose the wine? After nearly 12 months of being a subscriber, I am thoroughly enjoying my wine tour around Australia and tasting wine that I'd never ordinarily get to. Who knew that my favourite red is now a Durif??? I also love the fact that I'm supporting the smaller boutique family owned wineries. The selection panel of Wine Selectors have done an outstanding job ensuring that nothing but quality wine comes my way. I have not had a bad one yet. You will not be disappointed!
Wine o'clock - we're ready
We've been members for years and always like receiving our dozen regular varieties selection. It saves looking through the bottle shop wondering if you'll like that one... We like the tasting notes and food suggestions for paring ideas. And I find the yearly calendar that always comes out at this time to be fantastic - its my kitchen calendar every year!
Our little indulgence
As a member for over 20 years, we have never had a problem that wasn't resolved quickly and always to our advantage.
The reviewer stated that an incentive was offered for this review
Wine Selectors make discovering and drinking a diverse range of wines exceptional. Four times each year it is exciting to receive interesting and sometimes outstanding wines from a different region of Australia.
A good selection of wines at a reasonable price is received from wine growing regions across Australia as often as is your preference and I have not been disappointed with any deliveries to date.
