I would never recommend woolworths insurance. It was the worst experience and actually put me off shopping there all together. I was hit by a drunk driver and it was the most stressful experience. Woolworths never contacted me i had to contact them every 3 days for months and months and months and the customer service was awful. It took them 45 days to get an assessor out to determine my car was a write off and i was stuck paying the storage fees out of my own pocket ($675), they never contacted me to tell me what i was entitled to or that they received money from the other driver. I was left in the dark and it took over 4 months to finalise everything. At that point I canceled my insurance and never will shop there again.

Hard to Cancel Auto-Renewal

Price is not competitive, they built in an auto-renewal mechanism, which is not able to "disable" in the self-manage portal. I wrote to "stop auto renewal email" they said renewal notice already issued, they cannot do anything, despite still a month to my policy renewal date. They just made it very hard for customers to stop the renewal. Can't talk to the Olive virtual assistant, takes forever to transfer to a human.

Worst Car Insurance Company in Australia you should close.

Worst Car Insurance company. They only know your payments which are due on time, When the time of claim comes and it's not your fault they are trying to put the liability on their customers. Worst ever car insurance company in AUSTRALIA. You should be closed now. Don't buy any insurance with them you will put yourself in trouble.

Can't believe Woolworths would associate with this insurance company.Had 3rd party insurance had accident and because I ticked on online application form that I had bought car within 30 days which was correct they cancelled my policy leaving me with no insurance and a $30,000 debt to pay which I am still disputing.Holland then assess it but they are the underwriters of the insurance. Worst decision I have ever made. They have questions on the online application that are open for misinterpretation. I wish I had seen this web page before.

Insurer trading on the name of Woolworths

Be very careful buying this insurance! - you're not dealing with Woolworths. They are just receiving a commission for allowing an insurance company called real to use their good name. It's clever marketing by real but reflects very poorly on Woolworths because when you try to claim real looks for every reason to deny your claim.

Four weeks, still no policy.

When my renewal from my current provider came in, as always I shopped around. Woolworths offered a pricebeat but you had to call. Multiple phone calls, multiple documents emailed. Hours wasted, with a different story from every rep. I went with my current provider again. At least they can arrange a policy. Ask yourself if they can't get their story straight or process an application, do you really trust them to actually deliver an insurance service. DO NOT RISK IT!

Terrible customer service

Tried to phone 4 times to discuss why a double payment had been deducted from my account. Least amount of time I waited on line is over 30 minutes. Simply cannot get to speak to someone. Ridiculous. I am out of pocket but seems they just don't want to speak to you on the phone. Seriously thinking of changing ins compcompanies.

Awful insurance company. Am glad I have changed companies. Much happier with my new provider. Sorry I ever went with Woolworths. Don’t waste your time on a company that is just money hungry and doesn’t care about its customers.
