Not received Money back from Insurance
My policy was auto renewed. Customer service person didnt inform when taking insurance. I have cancel insurance havent got money for 15 days. Customer service terrible. Need money back in my account. Not getting insurance from woolworth in future.
Their first instinct is to deny the claim with the most invalid reasons, its probably how they are trained to do.
Reasons we spend thousands of dollars on insurance (car, home, pet..) each year is knowing that when the difficult time comes, the insurance will at least reduce our financial loss, while we need to deal with our own emotional difficulties .. . Not with Woolworths! After a quite traumatic and unfortunate event at my investment property, I carefully read the PDS knowing that it is definitely an insured event, I called Woolworths to seek some clarifications on what to do next. Her first instinct is to deny my claim with the most ridiculous interp...retations of the PDS, and the moment I questioned it while I was still speaking, she put me on hold without even let me finish my sentence. It truly feels like slamming a door on my face. Do we deserve it? Spending thousands of dollars on multiple policies, only ONE time we needed that support, we get slammed on the face. Not Fair....
Save your money
Slow to answer on hold and difficulties on line with web chatting only to find out that apparently Woolworths Insurance doesnt cover my near new and expensive (now broken) dishwasher because it does not form part of the chattels of my home... huh?? Read the PDS people. Not worth the money. Go elsewhere!
Woolworths Landlord Insurance: 23% Increase
Have just received my first renewal notice from Woolworths for our Landlord Insurance. It jumped from $416 to $512, so it looks like Woolworths uses the technique of "low ingoing" and must hope customers do not compare the latest invoice with the invoice from last year. Have emailed them and have asked for an explanation as my pension has not gone up by the same amount. The reply email (follows) did not address the issue, instead I was given two telephone numbers to ring and after waiting 10 minutes on the phone I gave up.
