Very good, but not perfect for pet hair on carpets
Overall getting this Roborock has been very good for general cleaning, but not perfect with pet fur on our carpets.
We have a Corgi who sheds a lot year-round. This Roborock picks up 95-99% of the fur on our hardwood floors, and about 70-80% of fur on our carpet floors in the bedroom. It's good enough to keep things looking fine on a daily basis, especially in the living room. But we also do a full vacuum with our Dyson on weekends when we have people over.

Read mored that it seems no robot vacuum can handle pet fur on carpets much better---we did a lot of shopping around and comparing, and most brands and models have the same shortcomings. I believe the higher-priced iRoomba models with a silicone brush apparently do better with fur on carpets, but they are substantially more expensive, and many of those models lack other functions that the Roborock S6 Pure has. So all things considered, we are happy with the purchase. P.S. Roborock sometimes offers 25% discounts, so it's worth waiting for one of those.Purchased in November 2020 for $640.00.
Perfect for Hairy Labrador
Have had this unit for 30 days and so far - perfect. Great on our wooden floors and collects all our dog's hairs. Wish it had a bigger bin and notified us when the bin is full. Other than that it's great. Never gets stuck, was fairly easy to set up and just gets on with the job. Haven't used the mop function.

It's great, better than most, but it could be better.
Works very well, although setup was a bit of a trial. The app and the vacuum don't have to be on the same network to get set up, but for a few things like updating the firmware and getting an initial map you do. So if like me you think its all set up (because it said it was), and lots of things work, you might be confused for a while. It performs very well, and there are regular software updates which is a mixed blessing. Although it can distinguish carpet, it isn't smart enough use the reverse logic by itself to distinguish mopable surfaces by itself and stay off the carpet with the mop attached. I also find that it doesn't always hug the edges of a room as much as I'd like either. The 'remote control' mode lags so much its impossible to drive, and I do miss the spot cleaning button that exists on the s6. There doesn't seem to be a way to tell it to vacuum different combinations of rooms on a schedule either. hoping a software update fixes most of these things sometime. Excellent navigation and app
We own two cats so the cleaner goes every day. We have a large 4 bedroom house, and after manually controlling and moving it to each room to map the layout (I don't know if this is necessary, but it was fun), it's now sent off to different areas of the house each day on its own.
It's picking up a lot more than we expected it to.
If you move furniture around, every so often it can lose its bearings and get totally lost, and mirrors do seem to slightly confuse it (not terribly so though), however it's been 'properly lost' about 3 times out of 9...

Good, but could still be better.
I really like this vacuum but it isn't always fantastic at picking up dirt right at the edge/in corners. We have both carpet and tile floors and it transitions well between the two floor types. The app is amazing.

Amazing at keeping on top of pet hair!
We purchased our Roborock about a month ago and it has changed our lives! We run it each morning and it fills its dust bin every time. We have a dog inside and she sheds so it keeps on top of her hair and is pulling up stubborn dust and dirt from our carpets in our rental. We can't fault our Roborock S6 Pure and my parents have even purchased one too!!

Is the Roborock any good for vacuuming and mopping on slate tile floors?

Purchased our Roborock a few weeks ago, our house is completely slate tiles - vacuums no problem, mop function works fairly well, but where the slate is really uneven it won't get into all the grooves, if that makes sense. Still 100% happy with it - we soak the mop pads with a bit of floor cleaner as you can't put chemicals in the mop itself and it does a great job.
