Absolute rubbish – what a waste of $300 down the drain. long time to boot, interface is a miss, setup not the best, functionality very basic, android NOT working as extra feature. the whole device is best used as door stopper. ever since i bought i always find it lack of not user friendly. i really have a lot to say, but i 'll make it easy DON'T buy, not even for free.

What a piece of rubbish – What an expensive useless piece of rubbish.Bought brand new. Fact is I have spent so much money on the bells and whistles on this device , to be left with a pile of electronic overated junk.Fact its slow,fact its wireless feature is useless,fact their keyboard is supposed to work up to 10 metres from the dongle, it works about 10cm from the dongle. Had the unit about 2 years now, and never been happy with it. Xtreamer, never again. Customer Service, is non existant. Do yourself a favour, stay well clear of this company.

Nice remote shame about the unit – The unit was supposd to answer all my dreams - a twin tuner pvr , wireless streaming, media player with a 1TB hard drive. It was a headache from start to finish. After connecting it to my tv, the unit continually froze whilst setting up. Unable to switch it off i had to physically pull the power cable out. This became incredibly frustrating after the seventh time. if the unit didn't freeze it would power itself off. The pvr is pretty ordinary - you can record one programme whilst watching another.If using the electronic programmer there is no allowance for padding and so i found i missed the end of the few programmes the unit recorded successfully - hence you have to manually extend the recording time. The problems i encountered were incredibly frustrating - the unit failed to record or if it did record it couldn't play back the recording. When it did record the picture was good.Initially the unit connected to my wireless modem sucessfully after several attempts and stayed connected for about 1 hr. I have tried dozens of times to reconnect it but the xtreamer will not locate it. I have had the unit for a week and it is still freezing up. The remote is good with the important buttons all in the right places and the packaging was very impressive - if only they had produced a product that worked. Needless to say i am returning the unit and trying another brand. The remote and packaging Didn't record programmes, kept freezing or shutting itself down.
