Great and reliable.
I have had this bike for 1 year, it's very reliable start every time. Good bike for the price. I have derestricted mine it was a simple as just removing a cable. The bike carries me well as I am 125kg and still does speeds of 70 km+.
Very happy customer.
I bought this scooter second hand. had done about 7k not serviced for a year. been driving for more than three months now and had no issues. runs about 115km for only 4 ltr of petrol. wont use much of the oil either only 200 ml for 700 km..the petrol indicator wont show the right amount of petrol but you can guess easily..
would definitely recommend.
fuel efficient, inexpensive
I purchased two Predator 50 in 2011. Had electrical trouble with both bikes. The first one had the engine completely replaced in first three months. Then cut of switch had to be by passed. Then electronic speedo had to be replaced. Then two months later the kill switch went faulty.
On the second bike the cut of switch had to be by passed and later the kill switch had to be replaced. The battery died on three months and the supplier would not replace. Had to report them to fair trading. Then they eventually replaced it.
Would not ever bu...y cheap Chinese built scooters ever again. By a Honda or Yamaha or named brand and check warranties. Stay away from cheap Chinese crap. The styling of the bike is great. Unreliable. Exceptionally bad supplier warranty service. Beware of XTM
Bought the bike brand new. Delighted for first 120km (3 weeks) then it did not start. Eventually got it going and took it to dealer to look at. After having it for 1 week and multiple phone calls, got it back with a new clutch and fuel filter. Ran well for until 390 km (9 weeks old) and again it did not start. Mechanic came round and got it gong with new spark plug. After this, failed to start again once more and it was very sluggish off the mark. Fuel gauge was erratic.
Quick for a 50cc (70kph), looks good
Not reliable, sluggish to accelerate, erratic fuel gauge readings
