HI - I have been happy with YourGrocer for the past two deliveries. However - Sunday evening I had an
order for 4-6pm. Late delivery at 6.50pm, excusable because of traffic etc.
BUT Someone's Else's order in the box. Only two items of my long list.
The poor delivery guy was as dumbfounded as I as we went through my actual
list on his phone. Nope, only two items of mine.
I needed my delivery as I have a busy week.
This was unacceptable.
It is now Monday morning and I cannot access the company before 9am.
Not happy and will probably not use again. This appears to come down to the two main stores
that were involved or the co-ordination of the order for those stores.
Very poor customer service
I ordered goods for delivery Tuesday between 3- 5 pm and at 5 pm i received a text to say that the river was "running a little bit late" when i rang to see how far away he was i was told 6.15pm .... as a result i had to go out in peak hour traffic to Coles to organize dinner. NOT good enough considering these people claim to offer good service.
All they could say was that would "see if they could get the driver there earlier" They must have known that they were running late well before 5pm, why not a phone call earlier to advise me..??? You...people have wasted many hours of my day. No offer to waive their delivery fee or anything like that .... (not that i worry over $5). ....basically, " all sympathy but tuff luck for you". I am happy to pay extra over the supermarkets for good produce but i expect the service that goes with it if you are claiming to offer it. I am not interested in any excuses ... perhaps i should deduct some money from my bill when you don't deliver as promised, NEVER AGAIN.
The Absolute Worst - from a loyal customer
We have always recommended Your Grocer with excellent reviews. Unfortunately after another inconsistent delivery and with meat product & meat blood improperly packaged and that contaminated other products. We will never use Your Grocer again.
We were desperately dependent upon this service today with a loved one in hospital & with other impairments that restrict shopping and transport options.
It was once an excellent company and those on Product Review would have read our consistent excellent reviews on Your Grocer.
Your Grocer cre...ated independence for us and where we are impaired. The delivery today has robbed us of this independence and of any trust in Your Grocer and the indepedent businesses that it purports to support.

Hi, I have just been introduced to your grocer. I have had a look at meat prices across the various butchers and find that they are much higher than local supermarkets and significantly higher than ALDI. Im wondering if you have super specials on meat at any time as this is when I might consider buying. Is there a category for specials or an alert service such? Many thanks Andy

The meat prices from our butchers do vary from ALDI and the big supermarkets. It depends which butcher you purchase from though, we have higher and lower end butchers to chose from. We’d be happy to recommend one to suit your needs, you can reach out on chat or call us on 1300 851 343.
We do have a 'specials' filter in our sidebar under 'Category'. Here there a number of meat specials that are marked in orange print.
All of our specials and prices are up to date on the website although I love your idea about an alert service. I'll pass this suggestion onto our team.
