Good quality but hard as a rock!
I bought this bed a month ago & the delivery was super speedy. Very good quality for a mattress, better than many popular 'mattress in a box' brands I've slept on, and certainly much cheaper. It is however VERY hard. I have a lower back injury that has left permanent nerve damage in the leg & lower back artrits, after one night I woke up with no more lower back pain & felt like I've gone through a spinal realignment. Read morecausing my pressure points - shoulders, hips, knees. I was waking up in absolute agony from pressure point pain. While the convoluted mattress allows me to get some sleep, I can not say that I'm entirely comfortable as there is definately not enough "give"in the springs around the main pressure areas - be that sleeping on my side or back. I'm a tall slender woman, but have typical Scandinavian wide bone strutcure, while I no longer suffer lower back pain I'm now experiencing tightness in the upper back and shoulder area. Its a great mattress, I can't really fault it, it's just not for me. Unfortaunately with the deeper mattress size, plus a convoluted topper as well, meant I had to buy deep walled fitted sheets & a king size doona to compensate for the measurement changes, all extra expenses I wasn't expecting. I've now spent out more on "mattress compensations" than I did on the mattress.Purchased in June 2020.
