Beyond useless

Without a doubt, the most useless courier company on the planet. Every single time that I have had a parcel to be delivered by them, it has been a drama just to get it. From now on I make it a point to ask a business if they use Fastway, if they do, no sale., which in itself is a problem, as you might miss out on something if the business sells the item out before you get a reply. It's almost like they go out of their way to make sure you don't get your parcel. They won't drop it off where they say they will, and they make it as difficult as they can to contact them. Absolute nightmare.

Appalling customer service - save yourself the money.

A week to get a parcel delivered within a 5 km radius in Brisbane. No calling card left by the driver. Re-delivery if you miss it? At least 2 days. If the parcel is in the depot, can I pick it up? No. It takes us 24 hours to print the redelivery form. Try to contact delivery driver? No response. Contact the service centre? In the Philippines - with no way of contacting local Brisbane depot. Interest in resolving customer issue? Zero. Why would anyone pay for this service? Appalling

My packcage doesn't arrive....

If I could place less than one star, bad service, they said they sent the order, but the order never came to my house, I never knew what happened, I do not know if they did not find the address or what. It seems to me a company completely failed serious. I have been waiting almost a month for my packcage and I still do not get it. When I wrote asking how we could solve that if I changed the address to one that is super easy to find, they told me that I had to pay 5.50 dollars to send it again ... This company is a complete rubbish. I'm not gonna pay any dollar more to a company who make their job soo bad.

Your package will not be delivered

Am trying to get my package since 2 week now called them 2 time, I even contact Amazon and until now I didn't get my package..
So basically if you see that fastway will deliver your items be sure that you will not receive it.

Still waiting

Bought an item from Etsy. Item picked up by Fastway 21 June for delivery between Brisbane and Adelaide. Parcel made it to Sydney on 26 June where it sat until 6 July. I had to make an online enquiry to get it moving to Adelaide. Delivery to my home attempted July 10. I followed instructions on calling card to have redelivery take place by 13 July. Parcel has since been ‘held at Adelaide depot awaiting redelivery instructions’. Phoned Adelaide depot on 13 July as parcel still sitting at depot. Female staffer said it would be delivered ‘probably Monday’. Here I am on Monday checking the whereabouts and Lo and behold it is still sitting at the Adelaide depot. I am loath to phone there again as it doesn’t seem like they can be bothered. Have submitted another online enquiry but I got no reply from the first one so goodness knows what I am supposed to de to get my parcel

more than 10days for goods sent from Sydney to Perth and still no guaranty for delivery

Goods were sent from Sydney supplier on 3 Jul 18. goods arrived at Perth Depot on 10 July. called every day since and the reply was will escalate for delivery tomorrow. called today (12 July), the operator told me that it still has not been sorted so there would not be any delivery today and no guaranty that the goods will be delivered tomorrow either.

Very frustrated, we have been in business for over 17 years. road freight from East to West no more than 7 days from other carriers.

I did not know Best Way over at NSW is Fast Way in WA. if I knew, I would never use their courier service. online review is so terrible.

Not what i expected

Receive a package delivered by this carrier and i would not recommend them at all. The delivery guy was just lazy as. I have to go down from my appartement block to retrieve the package and with a baby it s not easy. Will not considered or recommend this company.

Shocking Service

They are shocking, the parcel has been in Perth for 7 days and will only bring out when in the area and I am metro. god knows who they use to deliver as they cannot have police clearance and there vehicles are not road worthy. I will now be checking with who ever I buy from and if using these will not buy from.
Look at the reviews its the same old thing too unorganized you goods will get lost.
If you want some advice stop trading.

Guess what another package disappeared by this company shipped on 6th July 2018 and no one knows where it is, I do it will be delivered 0n 20th July as they only seem to deliver at my address on a Friday and it hasn't today. Tracking is useless due to contractors.

I think a complaint to ombudsman is needed or media.

Fastway couriers set a whole new standard in the shipping and postage world. I ordered a pair of school shoes in preparation for the new semester. The seller insisted on using fastway and i said use Aus post. Seller disregarded and as i predicted the courier messed up my parcel. At this rate, i'll get the refund by the end of the year, perfect to start the new year with blisters and burnt feet, and of course, a new pair of shoes delivered by aus post

Round 1: Parcel Sits a depot for over 5 buisness days
Round 2: Contact them and they reply we will search for your 'consignment'
Round 3: Unable to locate parcel, tell the sender to send us an invoice and get a full refund (only if its eligible)

Waiting on the sender of my parcel to dispute this, 48 hours later and no email, no message, no nothing.
Before buying online fight like hell to get Aus Post

I received a message that my parcel wasn't delivered. Contacted Fastway, who confirmed it will be delivered in next run. Didn't arrive. Contacted Fastway. Parcel is lost?? Contacted Fastway. I have to spend time to fill out an enquiry form when they are the one who lost it?? Contacted Fastway. I now have to contact the sender to tell them. Net result, goods not received after a month of contacting Fastway, I want to ensure others do not use them. I do not want a patronising apology from Fastway about their terrible service.

Don't use this company

Don't use them.

I organised a pickup on a Friday morning for between 1 - 5pm Friday through Transdirect to courier a parcel from Belrose, Sydney to Gold Coast. I sat and waited outside my work for 3/4 hour and they never arrived. They never contacted me to advise they weren't coming or had been delayed. Nothing. It was an urgent parcel that needed to be delivered as quickly as possible and was delayed by an entire weekend thanks to this terrible service. After calling Transdirect, I was advised the courier driver in that location was "non-contactable." Useful.

After cancelling with them and rebooking with TNT, they never contacted me to apologise, not even an email.

My order was picked up promptly the following Monday morning by TNT and delivered with full contact by the company the entire way, so I will use their services from now on and would advise everyone to seek alternate options also.

How can this company exist

First example ordered 2 rolls shade cloth from Melbourne area 1 sent aust post received in 3 days, 1 sent fastways to central qld took 2 weeks then dropped at another business for me to pick up no phone call no nothing. Had to call rockhampton to find where dropped off second example which is the worst ordered fishing gear from fishing r us aust to go on holidays they said there is 3 to 5 days ordered 26/6 tracking no fa0035302866 10 days later noooo arrive. They changed tracking no to oa0025844581 guess where parcel was sent to Perth western au date now 12/7/18 how could a company get something so wrong 5000 ks apart. Fishing r us said not the first time that has happened my post code 4680 this is so wrong. Had to go and order more fishing gear to go on holidays guess what still not arrived and when look up tracking does not exist now. Company toll delivers to my door hope they go broke or get bought out by toll. Hopeless!

Delivery driver

I received at parcel, it arrived on time. The tracking was no very good, I had a very rude delivery driver who could not wait for me to get to my gate (I was only about 2 meters from him) but he just DROPPED my parcel from over a gate onto my driveway breaking my purchase, it had fragile tape in orange all over it and then he just drove off in his van. Very rude man.

Fast? No SLOWway to deliver. Really messed up.

I received the package after long wait. The package has been staying in their local depot for like 5 days. The tracking status was onboard then back and forth to the depot for 2days. Opened an issue ticket to their company but can't reply, they blocked all incoming emails, cant issue a new one because my tracking is used for the previous ticket. Finally I can get touch with them and guess what they deliver it to the wrong address and ask me to pick the package myself. My house number is 48 they delivered it to 72. I told him no bc I am unavailable at that time. Once it is arrived the tapes on the box is kinda ripped already. No 2nd time.

My parcel arrived in Melbourne to be delivered on Monday, still has not been delivered.

This is another company that lies or has staff that lie. How hard can it be to actually provide the service you have been paid for. The must employ a lot of terrible delivery people.

So you are warned - do not use FASTWAY.

They do not even deserve one star, it should be less.

Worst service ever

The automated hold line said "If you have queries, go on the website and call the courier. The courier I spoke to is [name removed]: 0414 676 385 who told me to leave! he said and I quote "I don't care what you want, go figure it out yourself" this is the WORST thing any professional service has EVER said to me!

They are never wrong

I was at home on Monday but they left a card saying they had missed me. When I rang the depot to complain, they wouldn't say if the courier rings a bell more than once, so I have to suspect they just tap on the door and head back out so they can fill out a card in the hope that the customer picks the parcel up from the depot.
I also wasn't happy when I was told redelivery would be in two days' time, but I grudgingly accepted it.

Today (Wednesday) I waited until 2:45 pm, and then checked the tracking site to find that the parcel was still sitting at the depot waiting instructions for redelivery! I rang the depot to complain and was told by [name removed] vehemently that they would have told me that I needed to go online to request redelivery, despite my wife recalling instantly that on Monday I had come into her room immediately and said that the parcel was not coming till Wednesday.

([name removed] outburst was after he had told me I had given him too many numbers for the mailing label even though I was staring at the number when I recited it to him. I knew he was slow writing down the number because he doubled one of them by mistake, confusing my statement of 'double zero, double zero, three, seven...' as '... three, double seven...'. It's only a small point but he could just have asked for the numbers again or read back what he thought I had said, without saying I had recited it wrong).

Questions & Answers

Hi, what are the different statuses that you get when using fastway tracking. My order was shipped on the 14/6 and is still sitting on 'Your order has been lodged with Fastway', which it has been like that for more than 10 days now. After contacting Fastway they say that they have 7-10 business days to deliver the package, but if it still is not in transit yet, how is that a possibility? The tracking number is BN1001084060 and it is being sent to Perth.

Chances are it has been given to a third party delivery service to complete the delivery e.g Australia Post. The changeover and the fact that Aust Post don't consider the parcels as highly as their own means a slow delivery and no tracking. You can however contact your local depot and they should be able to provide you with tracking for your parcel with Aust Post and an ETA.

It's an absolute joke. I ordered off EBay and they "apparently" tried to deliver the package and then I get left a card. I tried to find out depot address to no avail. Got told I have to pay money to redirect etc. Then it said would be delivered 2 days later....nope!! Nopw a whole week waiting for something I really needed by the weekend after a week! What a joke this company is. Reviews speak volumes.

Our Urgent parcel was picked up by "Fastway" in NSW on 17th of May for delivery 3 days later in South Aust. It still hasn't arrived and tracking indicates it left Sydney went straight through Adelaide and ended up in Perth. Then left Perth back past Adelaide and back to Sydney. They now indicate that it won't be here until June 4th? Having read many of the reviews on this company it seems that no one takes any responsibility for service delivery issues: My Question: How do we get a contact to those supposedly in charge of this Fastway!! Company to give them some customer satisfaction report, and let them know that we will never deal with them again?

I would recommend to call them; however, the communication of this company is poor and they are adept at spinning lies
In the future - I would highly recommend you use a different courier company
I'm actually surprised this courier company is still going

I would highly recommend not to take the other answers advice - try dealing directly with the company and if all else fails : feel free to contact the australian consumers assistance commission ( accc for short )

This is a lie - they've done to me on more than one previous occasion - I would recommend you contact the sneaky fastway company to check out where your delivery actually is but, you have 2 options after 2 or 3 days
1) collect the package from the local area depot
2) have them actually deliver it

Call [Name and Contact Number Removed] He’s presently on holiday in Croatia, but he’s the only person I have got anything like a useful response out of. Still no delivery date of course (two weeks down the track) but at least he had the decency to call me back after I sent him a few emails ([Email Removed]). Cheers, Adam.
