Would give zero stars if I could

I would NEVER EVER use fastway they are very rude and their drivers are useless
I was due a delivery on the 3/1/18 my parcel was on board for delivery that day but instead of it being delivered to me at the correct address the useless driver left it at another address and when he got to my address he was looking in the back of his van and said oh I can’t find it I’ll come back later in which he never did because he delivered it to the wrong address
Speaking to the office I got hung up on twice and basically told sorry we aren’t doing sh!t to sort this out just wait for someone else to do our job for us
I can completely understand why their reviews are terrible and they deserve every bad review they get because they are a terrible service and don’t care about the customer just the money they take from people
DONT USE FASTWAY unless you want problems

Worst courier service

Fastway Couriers is the worst most inefficient courier service I have ever used. This is the second time I have paid the amount on my purchase to have my parcel delivered within one day and YES I HAVE WASTED MY MONEY. Each time I have phoned them I have got the same rehearsed message:SO SORRY, WE APOLOGISE and then some crap about nothing. I have since used a different courier service that is cheaper and guess what, my parcel was delivered within one day, so FASTWAY COURIERS I will NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, use you again and I will be recommending this other courier service to my friends because they live up to their policy ON FAST DELIVERY but Fastway Couriers YOU DONT.

0 stars - won't honor redelivery

"Missed" a delivery on 29/12/2017 (more accurately, they didn't bother to ring the doorbell). Have submitted FOUR requests for redelivery online using BOTH calling card number and label number. It's been two weeks and nothing's turned up.

Called them twice, was told the courier franchisee would redeliver it for me because it has now been set to high priority. Lo and behold, nothing yet. Absolutely useless. What a waste of time.

Can't get the information I need

According to their tracking service my parcel was picked up in Melbourne on the 28 December...I live in a Perth suburb and today is Jan 11 2018 and I still haven't received it. The companies own website quotes 7 days delivery Melbourne to Perth. Even allowing for public holidays ie New Year etc I still make it 10 days and still no parcel. However my biggest complaint is their telephone number goes straight through to the Philippines and if you're lucky to get an operator that speaks halfway decent English they'll just repeat apologies. But it doesn't stop here, their franchise area driver doesn't answer his phone or return your call. So god damn frustrating and I will not deal with any business that uses this courier.

Sick of waiting

Worst courier out there

6 times failed delivery to a business address, stating no one was there. Except more than 20 people are at all times between business hours and no delivery was even attempted.

I've been at this address for 20 years now, never seen such incompetence. Will avoid buying online from anyone using them as preferred courier.

Dreadful Service

I’ve had a parcel sent from Brisbane to Wollongong. Fastway’s advertised delivery time is 3 days. It is now 6 days and according to the tracking number, my parcel has been on board the local Wollongong truck for 2 days. I waited at home all day yesterday and was able to track the truck from an email link I received. The truck was within 2 blocks of me at one stage but returned to the depot without delivering my item. When I phoned, I was told the usual driver was sick and the replacement was unfamiliar with my area and it would be delivered the next day. I’ve again waited at home all day. Strangely the email with the truck tracker has disappeared and I can’t see where the truck is today. I’ve again phoned the office and they say they are unable to contact the driver to find out if the delivery will arrive today. They said I was welcome to drive 20 minutes each way to their depot to pick up my item.
I find this totally unacceptable and have notified the sender of my order that Fastway has let them down. Goodness, even Australia Post delivers from Brisbane within a couple of days.
Latest update: 10/01/18 5.30pm
Once again, I have waited all day for this delivery at home. I’ve just noticed a note on the Fastway tracking website at 16.51.39 - We attempted to deliver your parcel however no one was available. Please visit www.fastway.com.au/card or contact your local courier to arrange redelivery
This is an absolute lie. Nobody has even tried to deliver to this address. Our intercom system is in perfect working order and we’ve had visitors ring that intercom this afternoon with no problem. AND we have CCTV footage to prove it.

Absolute incompetence in delivering to apartments

There was NEVER ONCE that Fastway was able to successfully deliver to my apartments, and I've had more than half a dozen deliveries with them. I wasn't aware for a few of the deliveries that the sellers were using Fastway. For the purchases where the sellers disclose the courier/delivery company, I've chosen and will continue choosing anything but Fastway. Regardless of whether someone was at home or not, all deliveries by Fastway would up as "unsuccessful delivery attempt". You're then required to pay them $5.50 to redeliver to a new address, or go all the way to Port Melb to pick them up yourself.

For the sellers who use Fastway, I've stopped buying from them. For delivery/courier companies such as Sendle that operate as a broker or subcontract their deliveries to Fastway, I've stayed away from them too.

The most ridiculously slow courier ever

I will now never use a seller that uses Fastway they are the slowest courier imaginable.

The seller sent one package which they didn't scan and just lost so they sent it again.

It has now been sitting in their warehouse for a month with no explanation. I have called customer service 4 times and although the ladies at the call centre are lovely and I assume are trying to help I haven't received any update on when it will be sent as there is an "ongoing investigation".

This is the second time I've had a package delivered through them - the first time the package took about 3 weeks to arrive. I explicitly told them to leave the package without a signature and they still tried to deliver it 3 times and didn't follow instructions - I happened to be sick on the last time so was at home to receive the package and the courier had no note that no signature was required.

NEVER EVER use this courier service it will only cause you headaches.

The delivery guys don't even bother to attempting to deliver to our place even when there is someone at home. Just leaving the note to pick up the package at the pharmacy. I have confirmed with the pharmacy that it is actually the norm for fastway!! Very poor service.. If you are doing business out there, please do not use them, as you end up with unhappy customers and losing them because of this unprofessional delivery service.

Deplorable, dispreputable company

My overseas parcel was signed for on NOV 16 2017, NOT BY ME.
It was marked as 'on board for delivery' at 9.38am and somehow miraculously signed for as delivered at 9.41am. This is not my signature. Clearly, its been stolen by the courier.
I have been tracking this ever since. NO ONE has got back to me.
I have placed FIVE phone calls since 20 dec, and NOT ONCE have i had any response. I have been told a manager will get back to me within 24hrs... hasn't happened. Its been close to one month, so fair to say, we.ve one past the 24hr deadline.
The customer service team have been trained to lie to their customers, avoid any responsibility and clearly the management team are out the back smoking a bong, because they're too busy and too high to deal with any drama. Seems as though courier theft is very common practice with this mob, and the customer service team know how to dodge a bullet well.
Shocking customer service, shocking response time. I would not recommend their service, their customer service team or their management team to anyone.

All of the responses online are the same from the Fastway rep. Yes we take it onboard etc. The online tracking doesn't work, and everyone is having the same problems, FW doesn't give a pooh basically. So lets now use them. We spend about 200/month with them, using prepaid tokens. Can anyone an Australian company that's not afraid to advertise where the are, have a helpdesk who actually grasp English, and who can simply deliver a parcel at the rate they advertise, for the price they advertise, by it's due date?

I wish I could give 0 star

Been a week, still haven't got my parcel. It was scheduled to be delivered last week but the driver couldn't find my address apparently. Then they told me it'd be delivered the following monday (today) but now they're saying that the driver did not load my parcel in his truck this morning.

The thing that craps me the most is that they took my phone number when I complained about the delay initially and never even attempted to make a call or send me a message of an update when something went wrong AGAIN.

The manager I spoke to on the phone was not at all apologetic, he just explain their internal procedures like how they sent a request to the driver, blah blah. Do I care? NO I just want my bloody parcel.

Senders - please just use Aust Post, they're crap but better than Fastway.

Thanks Emma. I talked to someone yesterday and apparently the driver missed the parcel again. This morning I got a message from Fastway saying that it will definitely get delivered today. So let's see if they keep their promise this time...

Should be Removed from the Courier Business

Its currently 5 days since they picked up my package in Gold Coast for delivery to Canberra. Their tracking system is useless - simply says in Transit no matter how long they have had the package. Tried to sort in on line but no response and its like dealing with a "Black Hole' Will NEVER use them again - they are a disgrace in business terms and ethical terms.

Never delivered the item and no card left however the status says 'Delivery Attempted'

The status says that the delivery was attempted but no one was home. I have CCTV cameras and no one ever attempted any delivery and therefore no card was left either. After all these negative reviews, I can't believe the company is still in business.

I tried to look for a resolution on the website and in order to request re-delivery, it asked for the label number from the card, which I don't have as no card was left. I contacted the customer support and explained that the driver never came. I was told that I should send them the entire day's of recording to prove that the driver never came and only after that they can have a chat with the driver !!! Seriously guy?? This is ridiculous.

If you think Auspost is bad then try Fastway and you will start loving Austpost.

Message/ Request to all sellers: PLEASE STOP USING FASTWAY otherwise you will lose business.

Useless courier company

I made 2 orders with one teaspoon on Boxing Day 2017. Via online tracking, I could see that the packages was on board for delivery on the 3rd of jan but since then, there have been no further tracking updates. I called Fastway on the 4th and no one could really tell me where my package was but said it would be delivered next day. By 5pm no packages had been delivered so I called Fastway again and went through the same frustrating process of confirming my details. Fastway assured me that my package would be delivered on the 5th. On Friday the 5th of jan 2018 surprise surprise, no delivery so I called Fastway again and went through the same tedious process. No updates had been made online and they had no idea what was happening with my parcel and couldn’t get through to their driver.
Apparently there is only one driver for my part of the northern beaches, and I saw a Fastway van on the street near my home on Friday afternoon so asked the operater why this van didn’t have my parcel. Again, he couldn’t explain.
I found out the calling center was in the Phillipines so I got the Sydney depot number from him to call first thing Monday morning.
Monday morning the 8th of jan I called the Sydney depot and a lady answered, whom I explained my problem to. She put me on hold saying she would try to contact the driver. After being on hold for a few minutes a different person answered who had no idea what my call was about and turns out he was based in the Phillipines. By this stage I was extremely angry, it felt like the Sydney lady brushed my call.
This new guy tried to call the driver and this time ‘[name removed]’ answered and turns out he just flew back into the country after being away all week. I found this shocking as no driver seemed to take his place for the week. They have promised me
next day delivery but I am not confident.
I have had problems with this courier company in the past and believe that they are not capable of doing their job smoothly/efficiently. I will avoid any company that uses this method of shipping in the future.

Shocking service. How can a courier company not manage to deliver parcels ???

Didn't even attempt to knock

My wife was home for this delivery and saw from the backyard the delivery person walk to the door and put a slip under the door. Didn't even try to knock. Now I have to take off to go pick up the delivery because I need this delivery as soon as possible. It's one thing to knock and not get an answer and that's fair at that point to leave the slip but the door was literally open and the security door closed so it was quite obvious someone was home.

I have ordered a package online from Sydney on the 18th December. It was dispatched he following day, the 19 DEC. I was given a tracking number with fastways to follow, now it's the 5th and I still haven't received anything at all and my tracking status is delivered and signed for by OHF in Geelong. Hi i received an email this morning saying that my parcel will be delivered today. I waited until 5.30 pm then tried contacting the courier my call was rejected so i left a 10 second message, still have no package or even an explanation. Do fastway even deliver on weekends? Has the driver taken my package home?. I wasted my day sitting around for you guys to not bother showing up when you said you would.

I have had another bad experience today from this company and you are correct the call centre is in the Philippines and you have no hope in getting any satisfaction from this company, both occasions the parcel had to be signed for. One parcel thrown over a 2 metre high fence contents damaged the second just left in our drive way in a storm content completely destroyed. I managed to get a Fast way drivers card while in town one day. Tried calling the landline no# on the card but again goes to Philippines. Tell your suppliers not to use this company as you will never get any recourse from this dodgy company. No# on card 07 3868 1144
