Pool is PERFECT, service not so much!
The pool is amazing, no regrets as the family love the feel of the water, in and out. When working pool maintenance is a cinch but what let’s the total package down is lack of customer support. Show detailsNothing short of amazing!
We use our Magnapool atleast 5 times a week and everytime without fail, we get in the water and it feels instantly soothing. The water feels soft to touch, and when out of the pool you feel refreshed. Absolutely love our decision to go with a Magnapool. Show detailsbest decision made this year
Converting from Chlorine to MagnaPool was one of the best decision's I have made this year :)The clarity of water is noticed by every person who sees the pool
The kids love if because they feel the water is 'softer'
Also the ongoing maintenance is so easy, and the timers and other functions are great
Thank you Magna Pool Show details
perfect water for swimming
In summer used daily, maintained regularly with no problem nice water , no trouble in servicing it, we love it though bit pricey , it is worth it , will never go back to traditional chlorination Show detailsBeautiful clear water
We've used our pool almost daily through summer and it's always had fantastic water clarity and is easy on our kids skin. Glad we made the choice to use a Magnapool Show detailsMineral pool | Easy Maintenance | Low annual cost | Love our Magnapool
Our pool is used by a variety of children from all over the neighbourhood. They swim in our pool for hours and don’t show any signs of chlorine effects given through standard chlorinated systems. One family friend with eczema uses your pool as their own salt water chlorinated use needs to be monitored and limited. Besides all the positive reasons above, the annual cost of keeping our pool crystal clear is less than half of all our friends using salt water or chlorine options. We spend on average $40 per month (one 10kg bag) on our 7mtr x 3mtr pool. Approx 27000 litres. We don’t use anything else, once you have the hours of operation set and strength of system set it’s pretty much self sufficient ! Show details · 1Faulty sensors
Terrible product. The sensors have failed/broken 3 times in a month. Very frustrated and not happy. Have had a techiciam from Zodiac out three times and it keeps on failing... The only way you know it's not working is to manually test it regularly but this defeats the purpose of getting it in the first place. Great system in theory if it works.... But when it doesn't its a compete waste of money Show detailsMagnapool
After having our magnapool here in NZ for 10 years our cell has finally stopped working. We love the feel of our pool which I call the fountain of youth. My pool shop recommends to replace the control and cell for some reason, should I have to do this or just the cell. Show details · 2Magna pool
We have had our pool less than 6 months. We have had our unit replaced once already. Our second unit is also faulty. Not a great product. All of these units were supposedly recalled??? As far as the feeling f the pool water it is glorious and I truly love it but we have over a period of 6 - 8 months noticed that our grey pool is turning blue in places and white hole marks are appearing on surface of pool. Narellan were the installers of the pool and they say it is the chemicals the has caused it. The pool cleaning and chemical services are adamant it is not the chemicals but the finish of the pool. We have had the pools just over 2 years and are deeply disappointed as Narellan won't inspect the pool even though we have asked... Read more. ts to our MagnaPool product manager for further insight. Thanks!Nice but VERY expensive
The overall feel and clarity of the water is nice and it really does not irritate my eyes but, with the amount of rain that has been falling in New South Wales, and the storms that have been getting more intense by each year, I am seriously thinking of switching back to plain salt.I have a 45,000 litre pool. With every 7cm of rain that overflows from my pool, I lose about 1 bag of Magnapool salt (10kg) at the cost of $38. I have come to realise that I have been paying an outrageously inflated price for this mix of potassium and magnesium chlor... Read moreide, which in the current weather is causing me to pour my money down the stormwater drain. It cost me around $700 to fill up my pool with Magnapool salt just 3 months ago. Since then, I had to buy 10 bags of salt, just over 3 months, because of the storm we had in February, and the slow but steady rain we have experienced since. Paying $38 for Magnapool salt, instead of around $5 for the same amount of regular pool salts now seems absolutely crazy to me. IF overflow due to rain would not cause me to lose so much salt, I would be willing to tolerate the roughly 1 bag of salt ($38) I lose with each month's backwash. But, in the current weather pattern, I feel I am being a fool owning a Magnapool.

ion. We can be reached at productsupport.au@fluidra.com Regards, Fluidra Case Management TeamLove the mineral water to swim in but it is destroying the Gel coat on our pool. The pool is only 2 years old
The water looks, tastes lovely, but just been told we should be using liquid instead of crystals nobody has told us this before. Apparently there have been tests done in Victoria by a Gel coat company and they are recommending liquid minerals. This doesn't help us after 2 years of doing what the installer advised. Nobody knows where to get 'liquid minerals' from & we have never been told this before. We have only used the Magna minerals as these were used in the handover of our new pool.
We have a 2 year old pool that looks worse than our previous one that was 30 years old. Please help us, we are very disappointed & looking to pursue this further if need be. Show details

Hi,We have had our Magna pool for a few months now and the water tastes disgusting, everyone that swims in the pool comments on how bad it tastes.
We had a Magna pool at our previous house and cannot remembering the water tasting like this??

I've had the magnapool with magnesium for just over a month and I swim in it every day. The water is so much clearer and silkier to swim in than the previous liquid chlorine set up. Our local pool company installed it and comes once a month to check chemicals and do any top-ups, so apart from cleaning the leaves out of the creepy-crawly basket, there is nothing to do but enjoy the pool. I hated having to test the water all the time and add liquid chlorine, so this is very easy-care and pleasant to own. I know others have said the hydroxinator will only last 3 years, but even if mine does I'll still be happy with the use I've had out of it. I feel like I have a Health Spa in my own backyard!Best Pool Ever
We had been reading about Magnapool for a while and thought we would set up pool to be Magnapool. We thought if it does live up to expectations we can revert to back to saltwater.
However we cannot recommend the Magnapool enough. No chlorine smell, no sting of the eyes and just a great all round feel on the body. At first there was a slight different taste to the water, but this disappears after 2-3 weeks.
It is without a doubt the single best decision we have made in designing and setting up our pool, it was easy to set up as well.
You wont look back.
Questions & Answers
Hi
I have a fibre glass magna pool , it’s 12 years old now, last year I had to replace the hydroxinator, now the controller is dead, no power. I’ve talked to two pool shop, they said I’ve to replace both hydroxinator and controller as there is no controller to match the old one. Is this true? If I have replace both is that mean I have to change plumbing?
Thanks
Quan
Hi
I’ve just had an hydroxinator iq installed with a new magna pool and it was working fine but now for some reason the clock resets itself to 00.00 each day.
I now have to reset the clock to the correct time each day which is very annoying!
Kind regards
Richard
Mine as well! i have just logged a support request to see what they say.
The zodiac control unit has two batteries, one is memory for storing settings and surprisingly another for the clock. It's not in any manuals. Just I am luck that I have such skills to figure that out.
I recently had my magnapool water tested at a local pool shop, they told me i needed to add abag of slt to the pool. I have never been told to do this before & when i questioned him he said maybe just add a bag of minerals instead.
Does a magna pool ever require salt to added

I have never been told to add salt, I’d get a second opinion or look up zodiacs help line and call them, sounds like a pool shop who has no idea what Magnapool is. The magnapool compound contains salt and magnesium sounds like bad advice to me
Thanks for you response, I think I need a new pool shop
