Was told that our finance was approved one week only to get a phone call 2 days before we are to pickup our van to say that we had to reapply because payslips were a week out of date. This could have been avoided by better time management on your behalf.

Jayco caravan loan nightmare

Worst experience, no customer service from senior person [name removed] her tone made me feel like I was a burden. I will be going to my own bank for finance and telling jayco the disgusting treatment i received from their finance people.
I might be from the country but we know what respect is.

Incompetent staff. Don't care

I have never dealt with such incompetent staff. Put through loans $13.000 over and above the purchase price of the van we wanted to purchase, not just once but 3 times. Staff that handled it didn't read the contract for the correct amount causing us to not obtain the loan and another mark go onto our credit score, well done. When we contacted them to find out why there was such a gross error, all we got was "oh sorry", not attempt to try and fix it, nothing. We went to our bank after the incident to enquire, they would have come to the party but now can't because of the errors by money now. Thank you so much and will never recommend your company to anyone. How many deals for customers have been lost due to this incompetent company.??

Terrible terrible service, very bad service

Always dealing with a different person. I found the senior consultant very arrogant. Also tries to put an insurance on when I did not want it and took 5 days to email documents after deal was approved.

Customer service. Non existent

After being told to try this company by my jayco salesman my wife contacted shanyn. Shanyn said she would look into options and get straight back to her .well that never happened. After another 3 or so calls trying to get a reply shanyn tried to say she looked over our figures and it couldn't be done, funny thing is she had none of our figures to look at. Then has the nerve to say to my salesman she hasnt delt with us. Will never deal with this company again

Very disappointing. Would not recommend.

NOTE: Not all Staff... However, dealing with one in particular "Manager of a Branch" who was Unprofessional and disrespectful to us as customers has totally turned me off dealing with Money Now. The contract was not explained to us at all and when we read it and found it was incorrect and requested it be amended she became very defensive. Delays with no explanation. Really Poor communication..Will not be recommending!!!

Disgusting money hungry people.

I approached Money Now for car finance, after 2 rejections (due to not being in my work long enough) I told them to cancel the inquiry and not to worry about it anymore. I later received a phone call from someone else at Money Now offering to give my number "to a friend" at a local bank who may be able to help. The local banker called me that day and him and I began the process of applying for my loan. I had previously supplied all of my paperwork to MoneyNow but now had to send it to the banker directly myself. The loan was approved and I picked my car up.

3 days later I get a phone call from Money Now saying that I need to pay an $800 (plus GST) brokerage fee for their services in successfully obtaining my loan. I queried the fact that I had done all of the legwork and paper-chasing, all they had done was given my phone number to someone. They expected me to pay $800 for passing on my phone number.

On top of this ridiculous $800 fee for me to do their work, they had also signed me up for Finance Gap Insurance and expected me to pay an additional $1305 although I did not sign anything at all with Money Now.


Never use these people.

Totally Ripped off

I applied for a car loan for $6000 advised rep-michael I wanted to pay it off in 3 years when I received paper work additional cost were added I never asked for so a $6000 loan become a $12,000 loan and the car only cost $8000 could of brought a brand new car for $12,000.
Plus never advised me that they went through GE Finance if I knew that I would never of applied as they are the rudest people to deal with.

Terrible Terrible Terrible!!!

Visited their office at Car City and asked about what they had to offer and what rates etc etc
They advised me their systems were not working... (As soon as i asked the above questions)
They told me to email them the next day (Monday) to organise finance.
Its been 4 weeks and haven't heard a response or anything from them.
I feel sorry for the dealers there... They must be costing them sales or there after less educated applicants...

Dealing with them is like a worse nightmare. I have been approved for a car loan but nothing has happened from there I know what car I want but no one is willing to help me they never ring me to let me know what's going on I have to ring them terrible customer service They are useless lazy, terrible, bad bad bad bad I could talk all day about my bad experience. It's bad business bad worst experience ever. Do not go with them.

Highly recommend you look elsewhere

I totally agree with the previous reviews. Just organised finance with money now (later). Firstly on signing the loan there were several hidden fees I was not told about. Then I was lied to time and time again of when the money will be available, when I had enough of there lies and tried to push them along they kept ignoring me and lying to me more. Strongly advise not to do business with them the worst customer service I have ever seen.

So slow

Horrible service!
Has taken nearly a week to do the contract, have to keep driving in to sign the documents every day.
Staff just hand your contract around to others in the office.
Poor responses to emails.
Would not recommend!

Horrible!

The customer service here is absolutely shocking to say the least. I submitted my loan application on a thursday was told the loan had been submitted and would get an answer monday. Monday comes around and I get a phone call saying my payslips are wrong so I need to resend them (obviously was never sent away on the thursday) i get another call saying my loan had been submitted and I will get my answer the following day. Suprise Suprise Tuesday comes around and it hasnt been submitted and I am now dealing with a different worker. I confirm my details with him in the morning evening comes around and it is still yet to be sent away.
Not only does this highlight poor customer service but it definitely highlights peoples inability to do their jobs properly.
I would not even reccomend these people to my worst enemy. Dont waste your time with these people.

Just wanted to point out Robert at Braybrook is rude and pushy and I truly feel sorry for the staff working there he was yelling at them the whole time I was there. Plus forcing me to take on extras such as gap and warranty which I DONT need. Dont trust them

Car yard recommended them and waited for my partner to leave the room before going over the paperwork with me. I was targeted as it was my first time buying a car with some finance. They skimmed over all these extra figures without explaining anything to my understanding, leading me to believe I had no choice but apparently it's a great deal. I'm now paying an extra $371 for credit insurance, $2555 for National Warranty Company (who have bad reviews, disputing most of their customers claims), $350 for establishment, and $770 to money now as an origination fee. My loan is more than double the amount I wanted to pay. If I knew I was paying an extra $770 to them to set up a loan with a bank, I would never have signed the papers.

David was good...no issues with customer service.
$900 fee was excessive however - considering company would get a brokerage commission
Wouldn’t recommend this business to anyone due to price

So far, not impressed. Loan approval in February and by the time it was required in August- jumping through hoops at the last minute a day before the cash is required. Not new to loan applications and this appears dodgy so far. Lacks transparency and not sure they know what they're doing. Will soon see.

I took out a 26000 dollar loan 8 months ago and have always been on time with my repayments and when something went wrong with the car,I tried to to top up the loan by 500 dollars to fix the problem the answer was, "No. You can't do that".
I'm not very happy with them at all.

Not the right finance amount

I was interested in buying a different car not the one I had to buy in the end but this was all because the broker sent me a message the day before saying that his assistant told him that my loan was approved. So I thought that I got approved for the amount that I asked to finance because this is what I was told however this wasn't the case because the financed amount ended up being $3000 dollars less than what I had asked for so that's why I had to take the other car in the end. I wasn't very happy about it.

Probably a silly question, but I currently have a loan through money now for my car, awesome process, it was very quick and 8 months later I'm still happy. However, I find it very frustrating that there is no easy way to check up on the progress of my loan, and I'm just wondering how I go about making extra payments. Whether that's one extra lump sum payment (as I'm coming into a little bit of money and want to pay it off earlier, as I discussed with my broker), or to increase my monthly payments. How do I go about that? Do I contact my broker? Is there a website I can use to increase or make payments and check up on the progress of my loan and payments? Thank you, Christina Goncalves

As Money Now are a brokerage service we don’t have access to this information unfortunately. In order to make any changes or to check up on the progress of your loan you would need to contact the financier we organised your loan with.

If you are unsure which financier your loan is through please email me at enquiries@moneynow.com.au with your email, mobile number and address so I can look up your application and let you know who to contact.
