Do not use these guys if your client is valuable!!!!!!

Very bad service!!! i placed an order for two gift hampers for Christmas and paid a premium price for fast delivery. My hampers did not reach for Christmas nor New Years! Nevertheless, one hamper tracking did not work and the funny explanation, OH we are sorry, actually, the package never got dispatched!!!!!!! what a joke. MISERY, does not end there, the second hamper, got lost in transit and no one could track the package, and finally, after getting super upset they agreed to send a new hamper and the client received two hampers on the same day.
These guys never follow up with you unless you don't follow up with them.

I would never do business with this company EVER AGAIN nor will i EVER recommend them to anyone.

EXTREMELY BAD SERVICE.

DONT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU ARE DOING LARGE CORPORATE ORDERS. The hampers present well, the staff are very helpful and give you all the right assurances on delivery etc when booking. They are happy to take your payment up front but when it comes to delivery they are dreadful. They use Couriers Please. If a hamper cant be signed for the courier leaves it at a newsagent within several suburbs of the delivery address. Its unprofessional to ask a corporate client to go hunting for their gift particularly when we were told that hampers that if were not signed for were returned to the factory and Hamper Emporium would contact us to make further arrangements. In several cases, hampers were given to people that were not the recipients. No ID was asked for and they have gone missing. Very poor performance and very embarrassing and time consuming having to ring clients to find out who had received and who hadn't.

“Delivered” on wrong date, not received now out of pocket $476

Have used The Hamper Emporium previously, no problems. This time they delivered whilst I was away and subsequently I arrived home to no hampers! I clearly stated a delivery date, my invoice has the same delivery date yet their customer manager refers to their T&C’s and claims even a printed date is not guaranteed! The way they handle this is to admit no liability and simply walk away... I’m now out of pocket $476 and have no hampers for my clients. They were condescending and patronising.. I’m now trying to get my money back via Dept of Fair Trading. I will also make a claim to have my payment reversed through credit card company. Don’t use these guys, not worth the headache when/if something goes wrong.

Item never turned up.Ignored delivery instructions. Wish I read reviews before spending money

Tardy service, Silly excuses, You pay good money and Items are not delivered. Company says that driver has delivered so bad luck. Company cannot prove what the driver did or who they supposedly deliver it to. Buyer beware.

Lost and not replaced

Hamper emporium failed to deliver a celebration hamper to my 85 year old mother and now say there is nothing they can do about it - would recommend you find and alternative hamper site for your Christmas hampers

What a pity hamper emporium put so much energy into defending a failed order - would make better business sense to solve the problem reissue or reimburse - don’t use this online hamper business- find another one

Terrible Customer Service & Communication

Ordered 2 hampers to be delivered and specified delivery after a certain date, knowing recipients were away on holidays. A few hours later received an email to say my hampers had been dispatched. Wasted much time trying to chase up with several phone calls. They promised to keep me up to date but this never happened. They also promised hamper would not be left unattended if no one was at home but of course they left it there anyway. Hamper Emporium told me there was nothing that could do, despite telling me otherwise earlier. Now the food hampers I ordered will sit unattended on recipient's doorstep for 4 days in 35c heat until they return from their holiday next week. Very unimpressed and unpleasantly surprised by with lack of care or interest by staff to resolve this issue. Never again.

Very Disappointed!

I wanted to surprise some friends with a congratulatory present as they had just purchased a new home, I thought it was worth spending $100 (even though this is a lot of money to me) as this was a big milestone for them and that the element of surprise would be an amazing feeling. On the website they offered preferred delivery date, which I selected as I knew my friends would be home that day. Instead it was delivered earlier than requested and of course no one was home, so the courier delivered it to a seven eleven store in Newtown instead and emailed me the pick up details. I was hugely disappointed, especially when I had been given the option to pick a preferred date, and I had spent quite a lot of money for a hamper that didn't really contain that much. When I called customer service to ask why they didn't deliver on the requested date, and if it could be re-delivered so the element of surprise was still there I was told that it wasn't their problem, there was no guarantee and that there was nothing they could do to help me. So I had to pick up the hamper from seven eleven and deliver it to my friends myself. So really I paid $100 to buy a bottle of wine and 3 boxes of chocolates from seven eleven in Newtown. Hugely disappointed with this company, would never use them again and would recommend anyone wanting to surprise a friend on a special occasion to use a different company!!

Terrible service

I ordered a new baby hamper which was never delivered! I allowed 3 business days as advertised and was never notified of the hamper not being delivered by day 3. No follow up contact was made to try and attempt successful delivery. Manager offered delivery in 3 days time or refund minus courier delivery fee! Extremely disappointed and would never recommend this company to anyone.

Courier service is disgusting and goods were not what was on the website.

I emailed the company after I finally opened my hamper and they had been kept in air conditioning since arriving and to my dismay all the chocolates had been melted together. Contacted the company and offered to send me out more . I said no as the courier company did not deliver when promised we have had a very hot summer, and obviously they had been left in a hot warehouse. Asked for them to be delivered to another address can't do that can only change the address if the sender requests. Just more lame excuses. Have told my daughter never to use this company again. Exchanged emails with there customer service blah blah! Tired of company's getting away with delivering goods to homes that are not in the condition you pay for. I don't want any more correspondence from the company, think people should think twice about ordering anything from them.

Terrible - Do Not Use

This company is very dodgy. Packages were not delivered on time (went missing we were told) with a premium delivery service used. DO NOT USE for special occasions like Valentine's Day or Christmas.

Do not use this company

We placed two orders (totalling over $680) specifically requesting that delivery occur on Monday as this was intended to mark an important occasion. Order was accepted on this basis. Delivery did not occur on Monday, and we were not even informed of this until we called on Tuesday to enquire. Reason given was a ripped consignment notice on one of the hampers (??!!). If you need certainty that your hamper will be delivered on time, do not use them!

Hamper has been lost by the courier, The Hamper Emporium is not taking any responsibility.

We ordered a Beers of Australia hamper as a special Christmas gift for elderly relatives, but it never arrived. The courier driver (from Couriers Please) signed off themselves as having delivered the parcel on the 16th December, but my relatives have not received it.
The Hamper Emporium told us that they cannot accept any liability for the missing hamper because we checked a box on the order giving authority for it to be left without a signature from the receiver. Had we known that they used Couriers Please for their deliveries, we would never have done so as we have had big problems with the company in the past.
Reading through the reviews on this site, it's clear that a lot of customers have been having similar problems with the safe delivery of their hampers. The Hamper Emporium should be taking these very seriously and reviewing their relationship with Couriers Please, as it is putting their reputation at stake.
Couriers Please for their part have told me that they are trying to get confirmation of delivery from the driver, however after numerous follow ups they still don't have this and have referred us back to the Hamper Emporium to have them lodge an insurance claim. The Hamper Emporium refused to do this on the basis of our having given authority for the hamper to be left at the premises.
For all we know, the courier may have pocketed the hamper for themselves. There has been no transparency and no responsibility taken.
I will be pursuing this matter with Consumer Affairs, and advise you strongly not to use this company until they make improvements to their delivery systems and policies.

Have been charged twice and have not been refunded

Update:
Was contacted 29/12 and requestes to send relevant invoices for follow up. Today is the 12/1 and i have not heard a thing.
I don't think i have ever received such poor service. I would like a full refund of the totas l amount immediately.

When I entered my order I had to reorder because it didn't go through. When I realised I was charged twice the next day on Sunday I emailed asking for a refund. They emailed me Monday morning and said i had to contact the person and ask for the second hamper back because it was dispatched already on the weekend hard to believe and very awkward! I rang on Monday afternoon and left a message im still waiting for my call to be returned by the manager, and two emails this week. No details were supplied about whether two baskets have been delivered. I would like my money back in full or for the amount I intended to pay and assurance that the hamper was delivered and received.

$200 Christmas Hamper never arrived

Hamper due to arrive on 22.12.16 has still not arrived and it is now 5.1.17. Have been waiting for customer service to get back to me for over a week. It was really supposed to be a special Christmas gift and the elderly couple it was going to were really looking forward to its arrival. They even cancelled going away as they have been waiting daily for 2 weeks for it to arrive. Not impressed and definitely would not use again.

Terrible.... Refused to give me a refund when the hamper wasn't delivered

Christmas hamper bought to be delivered to shop at a Westfield store, gave the details listed on the business's website. Hamper reportedly 'failed' delivery as the shop number wasn't given (which wasn't specifically asked for in the delivery section when purchasing), staff can't read signs? as the shopfront is well signed. Very strange. Refuse to give me a refund and want to charge me delivery again (when this was clearly a Christmas hamper and now it is new year)?
Don't waste your money with this company as if anything goes wrong they do not assist, just provide excuses, which I am sure they will do when they see this review as they have done via email to me.

Just terrible

The staff will not discuss any information on shipping encase they are wrong which makes them useless and it never arrives on time and the couriers they hire can never find the destination avoid at all costs.

Terrible Customer Service (From Another Angry and Upset Customer)

Im with Alvin Oh on this one.
I have had 3 deliveries delivered to 1 person.
When I have complained about this, they have not given any good excuses, except to blame myself for the problem, and to also not offer any sort of apology at all or compromise on the service requested to try and resolve in any way.
I had taken all steps necessary steps to make sure all product went to the right people, including calling the company after placing the order to make sure all was in the correct order.
My breath has been wasted, and my fingers worn from talking to these people. All amounting to time in my life wasted and never to be regained.
Please dont waste your time with this company and the inadequate staff.
Its not the mistake, its the resolution that follows that is the true stand out of a quality service!

Unfortunately I couldn't rate negative stars.
PS, last year I used this service and was satisfied with the experience and was keen to tell people about that.
More time wasted!

Frankly Im not surprised. I could not believe the lack of interest and the utter contempt that I was given from staff when I relayed to them the situation they had created.

Terrible customer service and not owning up to losing my hamper

The Hamper Emporium - Please don't buy from them. They lose my hamper, appalling customer service and courier services. When you complaint on why my receiver haven't received their hamper, they slap with you their term & conditions and delivery terms & condition - that i didn't tick a button on the website hence allowing the courier service not to call my receiver and just leave the hamper on the street. Hence claiming that its the customer fault. Don't want anyone to go through this. Raised a case with the NSW Fair Trading.

January 16th 2017 Update: Note: How to get your purchase refund back from Hamper Emporium - Updated.

Based on my last review, i would like to give you all an update on what happen and how to get your money back from Hamper Emporium. It may take some time but i managed to get my money back.

1. Hamper Emporium WILL NOT refund any money back once the order been purchased. - So for all customers, please stay away. Cannot stress enough of that.

2. Reporting to NSW Trading WOULD NOT help as they will give a vague excuse to them hence prompting the customers to bring them to court. No customers would bring them to court over an undelivered hamper and Hamper Emporium knows that. - But please still report to NSW Trading so they have a record of this company. Instead, do this immediately:

3. If you purchase by using a credit card, quickly report back to your designated bank as i have did and they will lodged an investigation with them. Hence, the bank will immediately refund you back the funding first whilst they carry on with their investigation. Give them all your relevant documents pertaining to the order plus a confirmation note that you have lodge a report with NSW Trading.

It took a while, nearly 2 months to get my refunded $99 back but it was worth the wait as I don't want to give the satisfactory of Hamper Emporium taking advantage of all their customers. I have been spreading words around whilst with online publication of how bad this company is and to stay away from them and all their subsidiary companies.
** Cannot Stress Enough ** - Please Stay Away From This Company.

This is the worst on line service I have ever encountered

Ordered a hamper before Christmas and it still hasn't arrived. Worst of all they don't respond to enquiries and blamed the customer for an error in the process when in fact the courier obviously put the delivery note in the wrong letterbox in a block of units or didn't put one in at all.

multiple emails ignored - terrible service

I would not recommend this comany. I ordered several hampers for Christmas delivery. When ordering i was charged the full amount and the discount code provided by the company was not applied despite it saying it was. I contacted the company to explain and I recieved a prompt reply asking for more info which I provided. I didn't hear from them again and sent several follow up emails which have gone completely ignored. Extreamly poor customer service and I won't be a customer of Hamper Emporium again. I also don't want to see a message after my review saying that the company is sorry and wants to resolve the issue. I have sent the company emails to which they should have responded. It shouldn't take the threat of a bad review to get a response! They can keep their ill-obtained $$ and I hope to warn others before considering using this company.
